Advantages: Soft skin, Smooth skin, Good price
Disadvantages: None that I can think of
As I sit here at my computer I am surrounded by the essentials of life - I have all my stationery to hand, a packet of Smints, a glass of water and my hand cream! I am not prone to dry skin in general and I usually just use a light moisturiser after my morning shower, but I DO suffer from dry hands, which I find unbearably irritating, and so I do get through a fair amount of hand cream! Next to my computer I keep my Vaseline Intensive Care Dry Skin Hand & Body Lotion, which if used regularly keeps the skin on my hands lovely and soft, well moisturised and smelling sweet. The one I have is 400ml and currently costs £2.99 in Boots, which sounds like a bargain to me. It is made by Elida Faberge Ltd and there is a freepost address on the back of the bottle to which you can write if you have any problems or questions about the product. It comes in a lemon coloured, flattish, plastic container with a flip top lid. When my hands are feeling dry I just flip the lid, squeeze an amount about the size of a 5p piece onto the palm of my hand and rub it in. It is absorbed quickly and leaves no greasy residue to mess up my keyboard! My hands immediately feel soft, smooth and moisturised and the smell is light and refreshing. The writing on the bottle tells me that Vaseline have 'developed this formula with multi vitamin complex to help care for everyday dry skin'. Well, I don't know about multi vitamins, but it certainly does the trick on my dry hands and I have no reason to think that it would not be just as effective on the rest of my body if I ever need it. Well, having re read this opinion it is one of my shorter offerings but when all the necessary information is there so why pad it out with waffle?
