Advantages: Works very well

Disadvantages: White scum, have to wait for it to dry!

Deodorant. A must have of course! Who wants to stink? Nope not me! lol I own so many different brands and formulations I could start my own chemist because me, I buy them all the time. Not because I even really suffer with BO. Actually I don't at all but the thought of someone thinking yuk she smells bad makes me break out into a cold sweat I can tell you that much! So I buy and I buy them lol

I picked this up in my local Sainsbury's at the price of about £1.39 though they are widely available in all decent chemists and supermarkets and quite often I've seen them on offer or within a deal of some kind so do look out for that! There's a couple of different fragrances available as well.

The Packaging....

50ml white plastic, long sort of domed shape with the roller ball situated at the bottom and a matching white plastic lid/cap that twists on/off easily. On the front there is a white label and on that I'm told in white and green writing that it's Vaseline Intensive Care Anti-Perspirant Deodorant, that it's called Aloe Fresh With Skin Caring ProDerma and that it contains Aloe Vera. On the back white sticky label in navy writing I'm given a list of ingredients, a little diagram of how to use the product, the size is stated the recycle symbol is shown, I'm told it's a Unilever product and there is a bar code on there. It's not really posh or exciting to look at but it does instill faith it will work as it looks functional and it appears suitable for men or women to use.

Using It....

Well when you take of the lid/cap you are greeted with a really large, transparent roller ball. It always rolls really well and even if it hasn't been used in a while as long as there is some product within it, it rolls without a problem. However the set back with this is that if you don't use it for a while the liquid 'scums' on and around the ball. It goes soggy and collects into like a slight white sludge so I think you always need to check that's not there and lets face facts a minute we don't normally look at these things and dive straight into using them.... well I do anyway lol If you put the sludge under your arms it transfers onto clothes in the form of a white mess. It's simple enough to remove it off the ball though with a bit of tissue though so I do that.

Smell wise, it's ok and not awful. It's incredibly fresh and really does smell of Aloe Vera. Me.... I'm not keen on it as it's a bit overpowering in the smell stakes for me but once it's applied to be fair the smell does fade though I apply this in the morning, sniff my pits at night and I can still smell the product as fresh as a daisy on me.

To use it is simple enough. Couple of strokes under the arms dispenses a clearish of what looks like a thicker version of water. It feels smooth and gentle and even if applied straight after shaving it doesn't sting at all. It takes a couple of minutes to dry but I have put this on in a hurry and got dressed straight afterwards and it does make a bit of greasy mess on clothes but doesn't transfer white so it is important to let it dry. (Does wash out of clothes though if you do this).

Verdict....

Bit of a pain waiting for it to dry in really. Easy to use though and if you like the Aloe Vera smell you'll more than likely like this. Yes it works very well indeed. No nasty whiffs and all you can smell is Aloe Vera. I feel it's a very hard worker and I trust it entirely. It is very kind to skin and when on my armpits they feel really smooth like I've also used a light body moisturiser so that's a bit plus. The skin is gently hydrated without any hint of grease.

Overall....

Not for me in the smell stakes but it works and lasts ages, in the container and on you!

Summary: It's ok but I can't rave about it
