Men, you may want to look away now because we don't want to ruin the illusion for you and we, as women, do not want to let you in on our little secrets. We are happy to let you thing that our legs are always smooth and hair free, as are our bikini lines and other things like that. What we actually know is that the reality is somewhat different and to achieve this near perfection look actually takes a bloody long time but, thank goodness, we actually have a secret weapon at our disposal that does save us quite a bit of valuable time and money. That secret is Veet hair removal cream. If, like me you either don't have time or the inclination to go to the salon ... Read the complete review

Being too much of a wimp to try waxing, and having got fed up of constantly shaving my legs, I decided to give Veet hair removal cream a try. This product appealed to me because of the promise of touchably smooth legs in just 3 minutes, without the pain associated with wax, and so off to Tesco I went to buy some. The product came in a pink box, and contained the cream and a pink spatula for spreading the cream. Personally, when applying this product, I'd open a lot of windows as it does smell, and the smell does linger. The cream itself is pale pink, and of the thickness of most moisturisers. Once spread over whichever part of your body you are ... Read the complete review

While I was pregnant I was determined I would not have hairy legs when I went into labour. Perhaps a silly thing to worry, after all "they've seen it all before", right? I didn't care. It was already going to be an undignified experience, I didn't want to add hairy legs to my long list of things to be paranoid about. Problem was I could barely see my legs past my bump, never mind be able to shave them properly and safely. I'd never tried hair removal creams before but when I found this Veet 3 Minute Hair Removal Cream on offer, buy one get one half price in Superdrug, I thought I'd give it a whirl. Please note I am reviewing the 400ml pump bottle of ... Read the complete review

I have tried a couple of brands of hair removing cream in the past and never found one which covered all the things I needed: easy to apply, dont need to put too much on, dont need to leave it on too long, and finally not too expensive. I purchased veet when it was on special offer (so thats the not too expnesive criteria ticked off). The product comes in a pretty pink box that looks friendly and easy to use. On the front of the packaging it boasts that it works in three minutes. I really hoped this was true as it is awkard sitting there waiting to be able to take your hair removing cream off whilst sitting very still and trying not to get it ... Read the complete review

I've used Immac and Veet hair removal creams in the past, but I always found them a bit time-consuming standing around for 10 minutes waiting for them to work, so when I saw this new 3-minute cream in Boots I thought it was worth a try. The one I got was the green Shea Butter and Lily, for dry skin. I got it in a big 400ml pump container rather than a 100/200ml tube. This would normally be £10.50, but Boots are having a half-price offer and it was only £5 something. The way depilatory creams work is by dissolving the hair - they have chemicals in that make the hair literally shrivel up and die, rather than by cutting it off at skin level like razors. This ...
