Advantages: actually works, smells nice, moisturising
Disadvantages: -
No girl wants to be hairy - agree?
No girl wants nasty cuts on her legs from shaving - agree?
No girl wants to go through the pain of waxing - agree?
Well if you said yes to one or more of those comments, this could be the product for you.
I first heard about the Veet Rasera Bladeless Kit when a kind worker in Boots handed me an advertising leaflet for it. It made me think..I could be hair free without a blade or pain? It's a miracle! I went straight to the hair removal section and picked up a can, I bought the lotus milk & jasmine for normal skin (the one in the pink can). 150ml for £6.95, I thought that was quite reasonable.
Most of these "new and improved" - which I don't understand, how can it be new and improved at the same time? - hair removal creams usually either don't work or smell like toilet cleaning chemicals, after first opening this, I realised that it didn't have the same smell of a newly cleaned toilet, but that of jasmine, nice :).
I squirted some of the thick, white cream into my hand and started liberally applying it to my legs, the smeel was strong, but it was nice. After washing my hands straight away (like the can says to), I put on some music, what better way thaan to pass three minutes of having white foamy legs than to listen to your favourite song?
Well as the song came to an end, I realised it must have been time to remove the cream and hope I'd find nice smooth legs underneath. I tested a small patch first (like instructed) and it was all good, so I carried on with my removal.
After fully removing all of the cream I washed my legs under the shower to get the final traces of cream off, which revealed nice, soft smooth legs - the miracle cream had worked!
I always moisturise after hair removal, but for once, after drying my legs, I found that I didn't need to, my legs were as soft and as hair free as ever, it was amazing!
The 150mls lasts 2-4 times depending on usage, i got three usages out of my can.
Caution: Use only as directed. Keep out of the reach of children. Pressurised container. Protect fromsunlight and do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50 degrees C. Do not pierce or burn, even after use.
Summary: absolutely amazing
