My mother in law gave me this a little while a go because she didn't get a long with it. I thought I'd have a go at waxing a few bits on my body and see if it did as good a job as the salon I usually go to. The wax costs £7.99 and inside the box you get a 250ml pot of wax, waxing strips and a spatula which indicates how hot the wax is. All you need to do is heat the pot of wax in the microwave for around 45 seconds to a minute and then check the temperature with the spatula. I am not the biggest fan of shaving and prefer to wax my legs whenever I can afford the little extra cash. Inside the cardboard box you will receive one jar of 250ml of wax, fabric strips for applying and pulling off hair, a spatula which has a built in temperature indicator and the instruction leaflet. To use the wax you will need to remove the lid and open it and then place it in the microwave for around 45 seconds (depending on your microwave wattage) and then you can use the spatula to test if the wax is the correct temperature meaning you can avoid burning yourself. A male colleague at work volunteered to have his legs waxed to raise money for comic relief and nominated me to be the one to do the waxing!! Being a man and having very long leg hair I knew that I would have to get a good waxing product to remove the long hairs!! I took a trip to Tesco to see what was on offer; it was here that I saw the Veet (formerly known as Immac) warm wax jar. It cost £8.95 for a 250ml jar; I thought this would be more effective than the wax strips so decided to purchase this.
