It is not often for me to get my hands on good quality, high priced beauty items such as those from the brand Versace. However, I treated myself to the Versace Bright Crystal perfume when I went on holiday a while back, and I decided to purchase the set which contained the perfume and the body lotion. Although I probably paid for both combined, it seemed like an additional freebie to me, as I would never have thought of purchasing this. It had stayed in my drawer for some time, and I decided I had better get its use out of it... If you are interested in picking up this body lotion, I would recommend purchasing it online, buying it directly from Versace themselves or to try a department store. It retails for 200ml worth of product at £30.00 which I think is incredibly steep for a body lotion, but this is a fantastic designer brand, and you do get 200ml worth of product which is quite generous. However, had mine have not been free with my perfume, I would certainly not have paid for this full price. As you can see in the image, the bottle is absolutely beautiful, and something I would be proud to add to my beauty collection. It comes in a lovely pink box which is the same as the perfume box, and the bottle itself is simple yet so elegant. The gorgeous big crystal on the lid resembles that of the Bright Crystal perfume, and just screams quality. Unfortunately, you do only get this bottle if you pay the price for it. As mine was in a perfume set, my body lotion is just in your average tube with similar packaging to the box shown here. Although it is the same body lotion, you just do not get this gorgeous bottle if you receive yours in a set with the perfume which is a shame. Another thing to note is that if you buy the bottle individually, you get a huge 200ml worth of body lotion which is quite generous. However, if you receive it in the gift set, you only get half of that, with 100ml worth of lotion. (This is the one I own). The first thing you notice when you open up the lid is its beautiful scent. It has the exact same scent as the Bright Crystal perfume, which is described as a "fresh, vibrant and floral" fragrance. It is a very light, floral scent which is perfect for girly girls, and is not too overwhelming or under the nose. It does not have a sickly scent like many perfumes have, and this is just the perfect, fresh summer scent. I absolutely loved the perfume, and I did not expect the body lotions scent to come through as powerful as the perfume, but it really does. As far as scent goes, this is absolutely perfect, and as it is such a soft, light fragrance, it is perfect to apply all over the body. This is quite a wet body lotion, meaning you do not need a lot of it to get far. The consistency is not runny, however rubs in easily and quickly. As you apply into the skin, the smell just fills the air. It is a delicious scent, and the lotion itself is just so smooth and easy to apply. I just squirt a little into the palms of my hands, and apply directly all over the body. It is really simple to use, and it soaks into the skin really quickly, meaning you don't need to wait ages before putting clothes back on. One thing I was happy about this was that not only did it moisturise my skin extremely well, but the scent actually stayed on my skin for numerous hours after application. It was still noticeable around twelve hours later, which I have never experienced before in a body lotion. You can tell that this is made by a great designer, as the results are fantastic and it is just a whole better experience that using your average drugstore body lotion. It is a beautiful body lotion which I love using as it leaves my skin feeling lovely and soft. I will definitely be repurchasing this when I buy the perfume as a set, but unfortunately £30.00 for a body lotion on its own is far too much for me to pay. If you have the money, treat yourself. I love this product, and I hope this review has helped. Thanks for reading.
