Every since I lived in THe United States for a number of years, I have been a big fan of Victoria's Secret. Not only do they sell amazing underwear and sleep sets but they also do a really beautiful, pampering range of make up and body lotions and potions. These are all very glamarous and sexy bt also great quality too and have been a staple product on my bedroom table for a number of years now. Thankfully Victoria's Secret ahve now opened two shops in the UK in London so I can get my body lotion from there as I was having to get it from the US on various trips I made back and sometimes ran out, now I never have that problem.
The lotion I am reviewing today is Victoria's Secret Hydrating Body Lotion in the Love Spell smell. They have quite a number of different smells available for purchase but this one has been my favourite for a long time now and the nice thing is that it also comes in a body spray and perfume so you can really layer up your fragrance if you wish. My favourite product though in the line is this body lotion because it is just so luxurious.
The scent is described as cherry blossom and peach and it does have a fruity smell but its not sickly fruity, its more intoxicating fruity smell, its quite unusual and I've really never smelt anything like it before and I do get a lot of compliments on it. Its the kind of scent that really does last all day on my skin which is fine by me as I love it! The lotion has a very slight purple tinge to it and if you can imagine what a purple lotion might smell like, I know that sounds weird but this is the kind of scent it is.
Now, onto how this lotion makes my skin feel, well in one word, amazing. This lotion is very hydrating and really makes my skin nice and soft and of course fragranced. In my opinion I think even though this is viewed as a beauty lotion more than it is viewed as a hard working lotion, it does the job most of the time better than a dedicated medicated lotion could do. On the back of the bottle it says this, "fast-absorbing formula contains nourishing aloe, oat and grape seed extracts plus antioxidant vitamins E and C."
The lotion does not come cheap, a 250ml bottle costs £11 and you can only get them from Victoria's Secret stores but I definitely recommend them as they are some of my favourite beauty products.
