I wanted to write this review so any women who are trying to get the courage to have a Brazilian wax can hear an honest opinion, and go for it! After having 2 children my husband commented that my 'lady garden' could do with some serious maintenance work. Although I would have loved to argue with him that it was all ok down there, I had to be honest and admit that it was a little out of control! For his birthday last year I was stuck for what to get him. Eventually my mind wandered back to his comments about my excess body hair and I booked in to my local beauty saloon to get a Brazilian wax. For those who don't know, a Brazilian removes ... I have been waxing my legs for years now along with various other parts of my body, i have tried many different waxing strips but never used a roll on wax before so when i saw this box of veet cool roll on wax in a discount store for just £0.99p i had to give it a go. In this set i got a roll on wax and reusable papers which are like a soft material type not paper exactly. You need the wax to be at room temperature other wise the roll on wont roll, all you need to do is roll the roll on up your leg and then put a piece of material over it, clench your teeth and pull, only joking it realy isnt that painful. You can then use this piece ... Read the complete review

There are mainly countless ways of removing unwanted hair from your body. Waxing is one of them and can be done in the safety of your own home, but I have tried on a couple of occasions and have chickened out after each attempt, resulting in having to shave the rest off. I?ve watched various adverts on the telly promising me the first ever pain-free wax. There?s no such thing, so don?t fall for that old chestnut. Only if you have a local anaesthetic do you not feel a thing so your best bet is to go to a salon for your waxing sessions. That way there is someone there to pick you up should you faint from the sheer agony of it all. There is no need to be ... Read the complete review

Before you start, no, I have never had a crack and sack wax. I'm told it is a common beauty treatment for gay men. In fact, that is all I was told, because by this time my hands were clamping my ears and I wanted to be spared the details! For those of you who have ever had any parts of your body waxed - particularly men - you can imagine the pain this must involve. Waxing, after all, involves glueing your hairs to a piece of fabric, and then ripping the fabric from your skin. Skin, as a result, gets tugged and pulled against the direction of the hairs and... argh!! Can you imagine having it done in your scrotal area??? Well, if back-waxing is ... Read the complete review

Waxing is most undoubtedly my favorite hair removal method. I have had a few bad experiences in the past where poor quality wax only left gooey mess on my body, but I still remain completely baffled by the baby smooth skin left behind after a high-quality waxing session. Waxing has in face been used since centuries when women used to melt sugar with lemon juice and apply it to remove body hair. I believe that this hair removal method is still used in certain parts of Asia. There are two main types of wax- hot and cold. In addition, there are waxes for various areas of the body. Certain waxes are specifically intended for bikini and/or facial hair due to the highly ... Read the complete review
