Just couldn't resist writing about my experiences with the Wilkinson Sword Intuition Razor for women. I have just discovered this wonderful razor, I know it has probably been on the go for a couple of years, but I have always used cheap disposable razors in the bath or shower before, but a friend recommended the Intuition to me and now I am hooked.
The Wilkinson Sword Intuition Razor for Women has three blades, which are surrounded by a skin conditioning solid soap. This solid is enriched with shea butter, aloe and vitamin E. Now you can lather, shave and condition your skin all at once.

The Packaging
This I did not like! The packaging is the clear plastic kind that is shaped around the product itself with no way of opening other than to grab a pair of scissors and cut it open! Which in itself is easy enough to do but I just prefer it when you can open new things with ease.

First Impressions
In the packet you will get the handle with razor attachment already attached, a lid which you can use to cover the blade attachment and soap solid allowing you to take this little gem on holiday with you and a holder, which you attach to the wall with a suction pad, once you have finished shaving you can just hang the razor in the holder ready for the next use. It does look a bit odd at first and I was a bit wary about using it. I have seen the Intuition sold in pink and in light green (mine is green). It has quite a slim handle, which is well shaped and easy to hold when shaving, it is also rubber coated stopping it from slipping from your hand during shaving. It has a pivot head, which is great for gliding over the contours of your legs and also great for use under the arm too.

Ease of Use
The best part! I could not believe how wonderful and easy this was to use. I prefer a bath so mine is used in the bath, but this can also be used easily in the shower. All you do is wet the solid around the blades and off you go, just shave as normal. If like me, I am sure you will be converted once you use the Intuition, it just glides over you skin with ease. You don't seem to feel the blades on your skin. I personally think it just feels like you are applying a soap or moisturiser to your skin. Another plus point is the speed with which you can shave using the Intuition, I now find shaving time much quicker.

The Results

The results are great. Often when wet shaving your skin can be left feeling a bit dry or even flaky and as I have dry skin this is often the case, but with the Intuition Razor my legs felt so smooth and conditioned, not dry at all. I also felt I did probably get a closer shave. During the summer months I tend to use the Intuition about twice a week but in the winter I am only using once a week and find these times both suitable for keeping my legs looking their best.
It is fairly pricey at £5.49 for the handle and one blade attachment and £5.49 for 3 disposable blade attachments from Tesco. I do usually buy the cheapest products but with this I am definitely converted and am more than willing to pay that bit extra for lovely, smooth and moisturised feeling legs!!
