Advantages: protection from soap - less leg cutting - moves to bodys contours
Disadvantages: chunky not good for small areas
I absolutely love my intuition razor - since moving into a flat which doesn't have a bath I always had the problem of cutting my legs a lot whilst shaving especially when its cold and I get goose bumps - I would manage to cut myself practically every shave! I nearly gave up and decided I would have to live with hairy beast legs until I came across this razor.
I initially bought it after seeing it for half price in my local Wilkos (approx £3) and as I had seen lots of advertising for it and it was at a reduced price I decided why not.
Intuition is a reusable razor in which you just have to buy replacement heads (the cost nearly £6 for a pack of 3 but can be regularly found on offer - also each head usually lasts me about 2 - 3 weeks which is quite good value)
The razor is quite chunky with the handle specifically shaped for a more comfortable hold it is simple to interchange the heads by simply pressing the sides the old head falls off and can be replaced by simply pressing the razor into the back of the head it is then secure.
The intuitive part of the product is all in the head - it is basically a blade encompassed in a block of soap. The head is flexible and it moves to the contours of your leg (or other areas) and the soap protects the skin and moisturises at the same time.
Since using this razor my accidents have dramatically reduced to very rarely when I leave the soap to break down too low and I am really impressed with this razor.
The soap means you don't need to use shaving foam if you don't want to but it doesn't lather up much so I usually just wash with shower gel leaving the foam on my legs and shaving over the lather. (however its not required and I have shaved my underarms in the morning quickly just using a little water with no problems)
The only problem I really have with this razor is that it is not very good in more intricate areas such as the knees and bikini as the razor and blade are so chunky - I generally use my Wilkinson Quattro for those areas.
The razor comes in 3 styles (green, pink and cream coloured) - I have only used the green and pink and have found them to be the same I think the colour refers to the scent of the soap.
I would highly recommend this razor and have been using it religiously for the last 3 years to my partner's glee he doesn't have to put up with a hairy monster.
I think it is quite good value although it seems expensive it seems to last a good while.
Definitely highly recommended
4/5 - loses one star for chunkiness!
Summary: My no 1 razor for showerers!!! (+me)
