Advantages: Smells so good; makes you want to use it all the time
Disadvantages: Not protective enough in the very warm days, and expensive when it's not on offer
Jardins du Monde Laotian Lotus Flower anti-perspirant roll-on deodorant
(50ml)
To begin with, the Jardins du Monde collection from Yves-Rocher includes several kinds of shower gel and two kinds of anti-perspirant roll-on deodorant: the one you see in the picture, which is the Asian Palm Oil variety, and the Laotian Lotus Flower which I want to review here. The packaging is not white and green like this one, but of a light pink colour with a small pink lotus flower. It can only be bought from Yves-Rocher website on which the original price is £3, but you normally find it in offer. At the moment, for instance, you can get 2 for 1 which makes the price much more reasonable.
I cannot start telling you how amazing this deodorant smells; it is so good that I couldn't stop using it again and again when I first bought it, although the smell lasts long. This must be partly due to the fact that you have to wait two weeks before you receive your order from Yves-Rocher, which increases the expectation and enthusiasm, or boredom at times. Back to the product which keeps you smelling awesome for a long time that you can still enjoy it even when you go to bed. Just close your eyes and enjoy the sweet and fresh flowery scent of lotus... this might sound immature now, but I think it's inevitable. Still, I have to admit that this product is not as protective as, say, Mitchum, which I reviewed earlier, so if you have a perspiration problem then I advise you to avoid this one. If you just need more protection in the hot summer days, you should have a stronger anti-perspirant, and use this one in the long cold days.
