Yves Rocher Monoļ de Tahiti Shampoo and Shower Gel Lagoon
(150ml)
When I saw this product on Yves-Rocher website, I thought that taking it with me on the trip I was planning to go would be a good idea. This is because it is a shampoo and shower gel at the same time, it comes in a small 150ml bottle, and it suits those hot days. I bought it online for £2.50 which is the original price, but now it is available for £2.00. For those of you who haven't ordered from <www.yves-rocher.co.uk> before, the order takes around 14 days to be delivered and the cost is £3 or free on orders over £15.
When I finally received my order, I found that the bottle had a smooth shape and size that can fit anywhere. Monoļ de Tahiti is described on the website as: "After a day at the beach, the light creamy foam of this Lagoon shampoo and shower gently washes away the last traces of salt and sun cream." The beach feeling is definitely there in the very fresh smell that makes you feel you are on a vacation even when you use it at home, and the nice turquoise colour of the shower gel itself. However, some problems arose when I started using it.
To begin with, as a shower gel, it cannot be called creamy as they say on the website. In fact, I found it to be a little bit drying but this problem can be overlooked, for most shower gels are like this, for me at least. The major issue with this product was with the shampoo part, for it dried my scalp to the stage of discomfort and this is the first time that I have such an annoying problem. Of course I kept using it as a shower gel only and rushed to write this review to warn you against using it as a shampoo. I used to think that the two in one product would be a good idea, but this Lagoon shampoo and shower gel disillusioned me.
