Garnier Youthful Radiance Night
by Abski2001
Garnier Youthful Radiance Night Cream
I managed to come across a large number of reduced to clear Garnier products in Tesco and grabbed a pot of this Garnier Youthful Radiance Night for the bargain price of £2.48 for a 50 ml tub which I couldn't resist.
The Packaging
The Garnier Youthful Radiance Night ... Cream comes in a posh looking cardboard box with a flip open lid. The box is a sort of metallic green colour with a photograph of the Garnier tub of cream inside. It has the Garnier logo in large silver lettering and the product detailing and descriptions.
The Garnier tub is a rounded hard plastic with a flat top and bottom so that it stands straight. The base of the pot is a lovely pale green colour which matches the Garnier leaf logo. The top of the pot is a pearly white colour and this screws on and off to reveal the cream inside. Again the pot itself has a brief description and the ingredients list, this contains 50 ml of cream.
The Cream
On opening the pot and smelling the cream you get a lovely fruity aroma, the ingredients include caffeine and grape and you can only really smell the latter which is rich and sweet smelling. The cream is a very pale green colour and has a smooth and glossy look to it.
The cream boasts a formula which is meant to hydrate the skin for up to 24 hours, developed to boost radiance, smooth the appearance of fine lines and nourish the skin with moisture. I have not got fine lines yet, but I enjoy a good rich moisturiser and liked the sound of this one.
This is the Youthful Radiance Night Cream but I often use this in the morning, it is meant to rejuvenate the skin while you sleep and make it appear more radiant when you wake up! I apply a thin layer of this over my skin after showering or having taken my make up off, using a decent fingers worth and rub it all in circles over my skin. The cream takes very little time to sink in and disappear into your skin. The cream feels cool and smooth on my face and being a glossy and silky texture a little bit of this goes a long way.
The cream is not greasy at all but it feels like it has a lot of nutrients and goodness in it that helps to hydrate the skin as well as making it soft and supple. My skin is in fairly good condition, but I can really feel a difference in its hydration and firmness using this cream regularly. This along with its long lasting properties with only having to use a small amount at a time definitely makes me want to buy another pot, although I doubt I'll find it at such a good price again!
Price and Availability
A 50 ml tub generally retails at £7 and this can be found in supermarkets and beauty shops such as Boots and Superdrug. Read the complete review |

Weleda Wild Rose Night Cream
by bringingsexyback
WHAT IS IT?
Night cream that has got a rich rose fragrance.
THE PACKAGING
This night cream comes in a bright pink tube that is very attractive but I think it does not make me think that this is a very good quality product. The tube is quite thick and it is hard to squeeze sometimes but I like that the ... hole is wide enough for me to squeeze out as much as I need because the cream has got quite a thick texture also so it was a surprise when it was supplied in a tube instead of a pot. My tube is 30ml but I think that other sizes are available.
WHAT I THINK
I have been using this cream every night for 3 weeks and think it is very effective for the small amount of money that it costs. It smells very beautiful and has got a strong natural rose fragrance, I like it but it is unusual for a face care product to have such a very strong smell like this.
I use it only at night and I would not apply it in the day because it makes my skin look greasy even though it is not an oily cream. It is very creamy and rich and I think that is why it makes my face shiny, it sinks in quite quick but not as fast as when I use my day lotion from the same rose range because it is a lot thicker and creamier. When I get up the next morning my skin does not look greasy but it always looks like it has been moisturised effectively. I think my skin looks younger and brighter than before I started to use this cream, it does not help with uneven skin tone but I would not expect for that to happen.
My skin looks smooth and feels very soft after 3 weeks of use and I am happy for that because it is a very nice night cream to use but I would not keep using it if the cream was not effective. I like how moisturised my skin feels after I have used it and even a dry area of skin on my forehead looks a lot better now since I have started to use this night cream. I think the fragrance is very relaxing also and it is nice to go to sleep knowing that my skin smells nice.
ANYTHING ELSE
A 30ml tube of Weleda Wild Rose Night Cream costs about £10 and that is value because it is a very nice product to use.

Boots No 7 Protect and Perfect Night Cream
by Simba1805
As someone who has always suffered with dry skin, I am always on the look out for a moisturiser that is intensive enough without leaving my skin feeling greasy and sticky. I feel that this cream does this perfectly. Personally, I use this cream in conjunction with the day cream, although this review will focus on the night cream. ...
It comes in a 50ml pot, which costs around £22, although it is often included in 3 for 2 deals. Although initially quite expensive, it can last for up to 24 months, and as it can be used very sparingly it can work out cheaper than other moisturisers, where the pot only lasts a couple of weeks as you have to put it on so thickly for your skin to feel moisturised!
Although I have tried other night creams in the past, I have always stopped using them on the basis that I would get oily white stains all over the pillows, and my skin would feel really sticky at night. This cream isn't like that at all - I find that it gets absorbed very quickly to leave your skin feeling soft and moisturised.
I think this is a very good product on the whole, although I wish it was not quite as expensive! Read the complete review |
