Nivea Hand Cream
by rji0907
Years of washing up and using cleaning chemicals at home whilst not using protective gloves on my hands have left my hands quite dry by nature so I always use a hand cream now on a daily basis and even take it to work with me to use.
I very rarely have to purchase hand creams as I quite often receive them in gift sets on ... special occasions and the one I am using at the moment is from the Nivea range.
I really like the Nivea range in general as I find their products really rich and indulgent. They have quite a luxurious feel to them and their hand cream is no different.
Their hand cream is a really smooth, creamy formula that really nourishes and moisturises your hands to eliminate any dryness. Some cheaper hand creams I have tried in the past can feel quite greasy which is no good when I am at work but you don't get that with this one.
You only need a miniscule amount to completely cover both hands and I simply rub the cream over the hands, rubbing into the cuticules of my nails and keep going until the cream is fully absorbed into the skin.
This cream absorbs into the skin really fast and doesn't leave any sticky, greasy residue behind. Immediately after use, your skin feels really soft and smooth. The effects last well too. If I apply it in the morning, then the effects tend to last all day and I generally don't feel the need to re-apply my hand cream at work which is something I have had to do with other hand creams in the past.
As this is from the Nivea range, it was never going to be cheap and a 100ml tube of this cream tends to cost in the region of £3.00. Yes, there are cheaper hand creams on the market but if you want a really good hand cream that works well then it is worth paying that little bit extra for it and I personally feel this one is really good value for money as it does a fantastic job and lasts a good few months before you need to replace it and therefore it comes with a recommendation from me. Nivea Visage Light Moisturising Day Cream
by loopylou1234
My mother in law recently passed this on to me, she had received it for Christmas as part of a gift set but as she tends to use anti aging moisturisers, I got it instead.
Nivea is a well known and trusted brand that I have used before so I was looking forward to using this. The Nivea Visage philosophy is as follows: Nivea ... Visage uses ingredients inspired by nature to create high performance products that work in perfect harmony with your skin - to help you look and feel your most beautiful. (This is printed on to the products outer packaging).
This is the Nivea Visage Daily Essentials Light Moisturising Day Cream and it is for normal and combination skin.
== Packaging ==
The tube is inside a white cardboard box. The Nivea Visage logo in Dark Blue and Silver stands out against the white background with a 'water splash' on the front. On the side of the box it lists all of the ingredients and on the back it describes the cream in more detail and lists the benefits it provides.
The tube itself also has a white background colour with the same colour scheme as the outer packaging. It has a pale blue screw top lid. It is the 50ml size.
== The Product Claims ==
This cream is enriched with vitamins and a natural lotus extract, which is meant to give your skin intensive moisture. It provides your skin with intensive moisturiser for 24 hours to leave your skin feeling fresh. It also contains SPF15 and extra UVA filters which protects your skin from environmental influences and premature skin aging.
== How does it work for me? ==
I use moisturiser on a daily basis, I normally apply it twice a day. Once in the morning after cleansing my face and once at night after I have removed my make up and cleansed my face.
I followed the instructions on the box by applying the cream to a cleansed face by gently massaging it in small circles. The cream is white in colour and I found a little of this goes along way so be careful not to squeeze the tube too hard! It absorbed into my skin quickly and has a pleasant 'clean fresh' fragrance which I like.
My skin felt moisturised and soft straight away and I found that it stays that way throughout the day, even under makeup. I was pleased that although this cream absorbed quickly and left my skin feeling moisturised it didn't leave my face looking or feeling oily or shiny.
