Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula

Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula moisturiser is something I've used for a very long time now. I always buy mine from Home Bargains as this is where it's the cheapest, however, this very popular product is available just about anywhere to buy. It's in every supermarket and chemist I have been in though it costs more in Sainsbury's I have ... recently noticed. I pay only £1.59 for a 250ml bottle from Home Bargains. It lasts me for ages, even though I use it very regularly, and so it works out excellent value for money.
I first started to use this moisturiser when I was pregnant with my daughter some years back. I used it as a means of reducing stretch marks and I used to spread it liberally all over my tummy every single day - sometimes twice a day. I suffered from no stretch marks at all, and whiles I cannot hand on heart give total credit to Palmers Cocoa Butter for this, I do think it went a long way to helping as it really did hydrate my skin and as it is also enriched with vitamin E, I do believe I was using the best possible thing I could to prevent stretch marks from developing from about the fourth month of my pregnancy.
Apart from this product's ability to add moisture to the skin and make it feel wonderfully soft and supple, it also has a unique and very distinctive smell. Once you have smelled this, you will recognize it again instantly. It has a rich buttery, almost chocolate-like smell and it lasts for ages after application. The consistency of this cocoa butter is quite thick but it is absorbed instantly into the skin. I actually use this now as an all over body moisturiser and use it mostly on my legs and arms. It's nice to use if I have been out in the sun and my skin is feeling a little sensitive and hot. It calms the skin and gently hydrates and puts back any missing moisture that may have been lost.
It dries quickly and also I think it gives my skin a little bit of a sheen, so that's why I like to use it on my legs during the summer time, if I am going outdoors with bare legs. It's just an all round lovely product to use. It's really not expensive but it's still a great high quality product that has retained its popularity after a lot of years.
