I bought this ages ago, and wanted to eat it. It smells that good. I have very sensitive skin and perioral dermatitus, which is a pain especially when you are cleansing you face. It's brilliant for that, doesn't cause aggrivation, soothing in some ways, doesn't dry out the face. It has a strange texture, almost oily feel, but it won't leave you feeling caked up. On it's own, used twice a day, it calmed down my red, angry skin, but I didn't feel stripped dry clean. Except a few spots surpassed its meek benzyl whatever based acne fighter, and my pores were looking a bit worse for ware. I threw it to the back of the cupboard and forgot about it for a while. It wasn't until a few months later that I fell in love with this, I started using Clearasil Ultra deep pore treatment scrub. This is like a raging bull to your skin, way way harsh, but enough salicylic acid to floor a horse, so my skin cleared up. But it became very tempremental, easily reddened, it didn't help at all with calming. So Now I use that for one week, then Amie for a while until I feel I need a few days spot treatment. As partners they are brilliant, really reccomend it. I'm happy that I can recognise the ingrediants, and its been advertised on many of my favoured natural skincare websites, so I feel like I'm treating my skin when I use this. I am looking forward to trying out the moisteriser from this brand, I hope its as good as this.
My only other problem with it is that its very easy to use too much or too little, its hard to tell if you are using the right amount, and it doesn't lather up, so it doesn't feel like its cleaning your skin. Not good with mascara either.
