Pleasantly surprised and would definitely recommend this brand to others.

I have recently signed up for Glossybox.co.uk - a site that for a monthly fee of £12.95 (including p+p) send out a box with five or six sample sized, and sometimes full sized cosmetics. My first box contained 2 Apivita Express Beauty with Cucumber Face Masks. Each sachet contains 8ml of cream.

The cream is a pale green colour and most definitely smells of cucumber. It really reminds me of a Veet hair removal cream that I have used in the past. Personally I didn't like the smell much, but for a product that promises to refresh, rejuvenate, nourish, hydrate and tone my skin I managed to put up with it for the 10 minutes that I left the mask on for. It's meant for normal/dry skin, and is good for curbing the first signs of wrinkles - apparently.

The mask is quite runny, but It does sit on the face without dripping. It doesn't really cover in a thick layer though, which is a little disappointing. I found that there is enough cream in one sachet to do at least 2 applications, even though it's only meant for one. This means you need to seal the rest and use it fairly quickly - but it is better value for money! These are recommended for use 1-2 times a week.

You need to be careful when applying to not put the mask too close to your eyes. I did get some on my lips accidentally, and even after wiping it off they became a little numb for a few minutes after. A very strange sensation indeed. I didn't feel it doing anything to my skin, though it felt cool and refreshing.

After my 10 minutes were up I rinsed this off, and immediately noticed that my skin looked healthier. It was definitely softer, and looked more hydrated. I even noticed that my pores became slightly smaller. A pretty impressive result.

You can buy two 8ml sachets of these for £3.50 from Marks & Spencers. They also sell other kinds, depending on your skin type, or what your looking to get out of the product. A few of these include: Apricot for cleansing the skin and removing impurities, Grape to reduce the appearance of wrinkles while softening skin and Aloe to soothe and moisturise skin.
I'll certainly be buying more and experimenting with them as I've been pleasantly surprised by the result.
