“ Brand: Asda / Type: Facial Wash / Suitable for: Face / Skin type: for dry skin and for all types / Product line: Asda Essential Care „
I've been using the Asda essential care Vitamin E facial wash for a few months now, and have been reasonably pleased with it. In this range they also have a toner, moisturising lotion and face wipes.
~~ The packaging ~~
The packaging is not like the one Dooyoo have in the above picture. It is a 100ml tube of facial wash, and the tube stands upright on it's lid. The lid is a large flip top lid, which is very easy to use. The tube is white, with a big brown 'Vitamin E' logo. With 'Asda essential care - facial wash' around the logo.
~~ Using the product ~~
Basically to use this face wash, all you need to do is massage it in to wet skin on your face and neck. Then rinse off.
I find you only need to use a pea sized amount of the product to get a good lather, so a 100ml bottle lasts absolutely ages.
The tube is also very easy to use, as the wash is not too runny so it is easy to get the right amount you need, to cut down on waste.
The facial wash is white in colour, and has almost no smell, and leaves your skin feeling clean and fresh.
On the back of the tube, they claim it leaves your skin feeling clean and soft, and whilst I wouldn't argue that it doesn't leave your skin feeling clean, I do feel my skin feels a little tight after using it, so I always have to follow using this with moisturising cream.
It is also suitable for all skin types.
~~ Price ~~
This bottle cost me 70p a few months ago, which is excellent value for a facial wash that has already lasted a good few months.
~~ My opinion ~~
For an every day facial wash I feel this performs well. It does exactly what it is meant to, my face is left feeling clean and fresh. My only gripe with it is the fact it leaves your skin feeling a bit tight afterward, but as soon as I've moisturised, it's fine. At 70p a tube, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.
Firstly I must say that Dooyoo have called this the correct product on the link you click on but the photograph and title on this page is wrong! Dooyoo I don't know how you make these mistakes sometimes lol! So before I go on I must tell you that I have let the guides know to change that!
So the product I'm reviewing is Asda 'Essential Care' Vitamin E Cleansing Lotion which 'removes make-up and impurities, contains added moisturisers and is fragrance free & dermatologically tested'. It comes in a white 150ml tall good quality bottle with a see through screw on/off lid to the top if it. On the back of the bottle I'm told a bit about the product and given directions for use, ingredients and warnings are given, a price promise (if not entirely satisfied with the product for ANY reason) is given along with contact details for Asda, size is stated and I'm told that it's suitable for vegetarians and finally there is bar-code on there. Although this costs about 79p a bottle to buy it doesn't scream cheap, gives all the information you could possibly need and is functional.

Me Using It...
The white thick lotion of this is as promised is none fragranced. You have to squeeze the bottle to get some out and I always dispense some on to cotton wool and you really only need a little as it has a slight grease content to it and a little, therefore goes a long way.
Simply sweep it over make up (even waterproof and hard wearing stuff) it cuts through the grease, grime and muck with ease and deep cleanses in a mild and gentle way.
It removes everything in my opinion, is economical to use and leaves skin not only looking and feeling clean but the skin is left incredibly soft and smooth to the appearance and to the touch.
Easy to use... this is gives great results every time, is gentle to the skin, economical and in my opinion great on sensitive, slightly aging skin like mine. Particularly nice to use on skin that is slightly dry and/or parched after a day sunbathing and the likes due to it's slight moisturising properties (though it isn't a heavy feeling product on the skin) and of course as usual toning after using this product is optional.
A great little cheap and cheerful product that gives great day-to-day results!
Only available in Asda stores.
I always like to get a bargain and I'm always looking for ways of saving money (especially at the moment!), I'm also no brand snob and I'm quite willing to try own brand versions of the big names - why not at least give them a go? So, for all of these reasons, I decided to try Asda Essential Care Facial Wash in place of my usual brand. And I'm SO glad I did!
So what is it? Asda Essential Care Vitamin E Facial Wash is a fragrance free facial wash with added moisturisers. The tube is a white colour with large, beige 'e' on the front and contains 100 ml of the wash inside. The facial wash itself is a white colour with quite a creamy consistency. It doesn't have much of a smell as it's fragarance free but has that slight subtle smell that all unfragranced things have!
Good things? Well, the first thing to note about the facial wash is value for money! At only 70p per tube this is truly a BARGAIN! You also don't need to use much really as it lathers up really well so a 100 ml tube will easily last me a couple of weeks. It's also currently on offer at 2 tubes for £1!!! But of course cheap is only good if the product does what you need it to and I have to say that this wash does. It is easy to lather and apply to my skin, washes off easily, leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed and doesn't leave me with dryness or any greasyness. I have slightly oily skin and often have trouble finding skin-care products that don't either leave me still feeling a bit greasy or completely over drying my skin but this facial wash is just right for me.
Bad things? I really have no complaints about this facial wash at all!
For such a bargain price I'd say you have nothing to lose so give it a try!
