A roll-on stick containing tea tree oil effective in minimising and getting rid of spots quickly

Having suffered a bit as a teenager with spots, I was enjoying not having to try every product under the sun to cover up all the time, that is until about 3 months ago. I don't know what has prompted this sudden bout of spots, but i'm sure that I don't like it.

While shopping in Lloyds pharmacy I was waiting for a prescription and wandering around the shop, as you do, when I spotted the Australian Bodycare Tea Tree Oil which was on sale at £2. I thought I would try it out to see if it cured me of my recurring spot problem, and eagerly paid for it and took it home.

I immediately washed my face and put some on. I repeated applications about 3 times per day for about 2 days, and I found that it reduced the redness and the size of the spot almost immediately. I was amazed!

      The ingredients are as follows:

Aqua, Alcohol denat., Meleleuca alternifola (10%), PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor oil, Polysorbate 60, Camelia sinensis, Ceteareth-25, Triticum vulgare, Limonene, Silica, Linalool.

The instruction of use on the bottle state to use it 4-5 times per day on problem areas. It claims to "kill spot-causing bacteria", and to be "natural and effective" on the bottle.

      Conclusion:

I used this about 3 times per day to get rid of the spot, and would advise to apply it after cleansing the face to maximise the effectiveness. I should imagine it is quite effective when applied at night as it gives it a long period to work against the spot.

It usually costs about £4.50 for 10ml when not in a sale, which is more than what I paid for it, but it is worth it in my opinion for getting rid of spots quickly and naturally.

      Disadvantages

It is probably my most used spot tackling product...why? because it does work!

I must say I am absolutely shocked to be the first to write a review of this product! EVERYBODY SHOULD KNOW ABOUT AUSTRALIAN BODYCARE ON THE SPOT STICK! Prepare yourself as I am about to write this with passion haha, I will start off by explaining what this product is, it is quite simply a tea tree roll on stick amazing for spots, acne, blackheads, blemishes, large pores and pretty much any other flaw you would find on your face.

Ever since school I have suffered with bad spots, from being a spotty hormonal teenager to later getting stress spots, PMS spots and bad diet spots, I have had them all! And tried pretty much everything; eating healthier - which quite frankly, when trying to cut out chocolate, is too painful, lots of sleep, herbal remedies, countless products, facials/steaming, drinking ridiculous amounts of water all helpful but none as effective as I have found this product, it really has been a life saver!

It reduces redness and dries out spots - but not so that I have bits of skin flaking off and so that using makeup to cover it is impossible because sometimes you DO just need to cover it haha! It says to use the product 4-5 times daily on problem areas but to be brutally honest I don't follow the instruction and find myself putting it on problem areas once my face is washed and I'm about to go to sleep - so just once daily and can still see massive results!

I must admit the little things are hard to find, I found it by chance in a local Lloyds pharmacy during one of my spot epidemics, buying all sorts of products in desperation. Once I used up my first pot - after putting it on religiously for 6 month, so it lasts a good while, I went back to get another but they had none on the shelves, my heart sank and I instantly got images of what hats I could wear the rest of my life to hide my skin without it! I asked the lady behind the till who said she would order one in for me especially and it came within a week, now they keep their shelves stocked with the stuff so if you can't find it, ask someone it is worth the effort!

Otherwise I'm sure you can find it online though I do warn they are pretty pricey at around £5 a stick but you get what you pay for and if you think about it you would pay that for a decent facial wash like clean and clear and Clearasil.

All in all I think it is safe to say that this is a great product and feel for everyone suffering with spots and therefore would highly recommend my prized, secret miracle worker!
