“ Brand: Avon / Type: Facial Serum / Suitable for: Face / Product line: Avon Anew „
At 27, I have found that I have the very beginnings of forehead wrinkles and a crease between the eyebrows (the curse of a stressful job). Though I'm not exactly booking the botox clinic, it is something I'd like to take proper care of, as I do pride myself on my clear skin and don't want to look older than my years.
I had found that regular moisturisers, though effective in keeping my skin hydrated, were not really effective on my pre-wrinkles, shall we call them, and I needed something with a bit of oomph, designed to combat problem areas like these.
So, I saw an advert on the TV for Avon Anew Dermafill x3 Facial Filling Serum, which contains injectable grade hyaluronic acid (a filler favoured by celebrities, it can be used in the face, lips, neck and hands), I knew this was the one I wanted to try!
I purchased my Facial Filling Serum for £18 on the Avon website, they were running an offer where I got a set of face creams for free with it. The normal RRP is £28 but it is rarely that price - at the moment it it £16 (and you get free delivery if you spend over £20).
Delivery was swift, and I was impressed by the looks of the bottle; it's a square edged round bottle with a silver plastic pump dispenser and a clear cap. The product inside is a swirled blue and clear cream - it's very pretty actually and looks nice on the bathroom shelf.
There is 30ml in the bottle, it doesn't sound a lot, but I only use 2 or three tiny pumps per application, and so far this bottle has lasted 6 months and is barely half used so it is well worth the cost.
To apply, I wait until I have come back from work or done my day's activities, because it is a rather thick and very sticky cream which you can't apply makeup on top of or really go outside with it on your face as your hair would get stuck in it. Also because it contains the hyaluronic acid, you are advised in the instructions not to go out in the sun with it on as the UV may damage your skin as there is no protection in the cream.
So, I come in from work and thoroughly remove my makeup and cleanse my face. I use a L'Oreal micro bead exfoliator to remove any dead skin cells from my face, I use this because it is fairly gentle, though you can use any exfoliant such as a pouffe or natural sponge. So, after my face is patted dry (never drag the towel over your face!) I secure my hair back (because as I've said, long hair can get stuck in the cream) and put one pump of Facial Filling Serum on my forehead and the area in between my eyebrows, and share one pump to my temples to ward off crows feet (never ever put this in or on your eyes however, as with every cream, this would irritate them).
I tend to then leave the cream until my morning shower. It sinks in over the few hours before I go to bed so it doesn't rub off on my pillow.
In the morning I can see a very very noticable improvement in my skin - more so than with any product I have tried. My skin looks plumper, the fine lines are less visible and my forehead especially looks more taught.
I currently do this twice a week, if I was to up the usage I would skip the exfoliating stage for three days out of five as you can over exfoliate your skin and damage it. Currently on 2 uses a week I am noticing a change.
Certainly now my make-up sits better on my skin and even people at work have commented on how fresh faced and smooth my skin looks after I have used Avon Anew Dermafill x3 Facial Filling Serum. For me it is a vital step in my skincare regime and one I have recommended to many friends and family.
100% I recommend this to anyone looking for an anti wrinkle product, it ticks all the boxes in terms of price and results. Forget creme de la mer, this is it!
Having recently hit my 40s I'm much more conscious about my skin. I'm a full time Mum so I cannot afford premium range anti aging creams. I bought Avon Anew Dermafill Serum when it was on special offer for £15. It's recommended retail price is £28, but I've never actually seen it at this price, as Avon always seem to have some kind of special offer on. I usually use Boots Protect and Perfect Serum, but the Avon special offer made their serum a little cheaper so I decided to give it a go.
As with all of these anti aging creams, it's not a miracle cure (more's the pity!). However, I have been pleased with the results. I've been using it for about 6 weeks now and the fine lines are a little less obvious. I have a couple of deeper frown lines which seem a little softer, but I don't think anything short of botox will sort them out! However, I have noticed a big improvement in the overall appearance of my complexion, which has become much clearer.
The serum comes with some warnings that your skin may be sensitive to the hyaluronic acid content, but I have had no problems using it. I am a little concerned that you should leave a week after using this serum before any exposure to the sun. As a result, I will probably stop using it in the summer. Until then I will definitely be buying some more.
Why did I buy this product?
I bought this product for my mother as she is at that age she is complaining about wrinkles. So thought this would make a nice present for her.
What is the product for?
Anew Clinical Derma Full x3 is a facial filling serum to help smooth out those wrinkles.
Where can I buy it from?
You can buy this product from your local AVON representive or you can buy online on the AVON website if you do not have one.
Where can I buy this product from?
You can find this in your Avon brochure which you get from your AVON representive or you can log online to the AVON website and order it from there.
I paid £28 for this product but I have seen it coming up for Christmas time for £20 the offer tends to end a little while after Christmas going into the new year.
I would advice that if you do have an AVON rep to ask them if they could check there other brochure e.g. the one before or after the book they have given you and ask if they could order the cheapest for you. If like me you're representive would want to get their customers the best price for the product. Ask nicely and you could bag yourself a bargain.
As you are aware fillers make your skin look tighter and some also do the same for your purse strings. But I found £28 for this product well worth its money. It is the same as using a quality hyaluronic acids used in professional fillers. The serum activates the skins own filling fibres to soften deep lines and leave skin smooth and plumped up.
After applying this product for around 6 weeks my mother and I noticed an impressive improvement. Her moisture levels were boosted as well and all without a needle in sight which most woman tend to go for these days.
This is the ultimate skin plumper that I would recommend. I heard according to the AVON book that one is sold every 24 seconds.
I would rate this product 10/10.
If you have bought this product and do not like and it has only been up to 30 days since you purchased this product please tell your AVON representive and he or she will send back and fully refund. If the product has been opened and tried that is fine it is still your right as a customer to send this back.
Hope my review was of some used to you. Thank you for taking time to read it.
Thanks to the many years I spent trying to 'make lines like Daddy' on my forehead I now have visible lines at the age of 26! OK, so they aren't that deep but when I'm stressed (which is usually the case at work,) I often screw up my head. I have been fretting over this for sometime and have tried a few different creams and serums but nothing really made a huge difference. I began to think that the only thing that would really work is botox...But that's a little out of my price range.
Hold on, what's this? the latest product from Avon that has already received fantastic reviews in the US. This product is the first on the market containing injectable grade fillers...without the needles! It contains hyaluronic acid, apparently one of the most effective skin plumping moisturisers available. It also contains glycolic acid and peptides, both of which have been proven to diminish lines over time.
The product comes very well presented in an expensive looking clear & chrome effect pump bottle containing 30ml. The serum is clear with a blue swirl through it, almost like a marble an is very smooth and easy to apply.
I started using it right away and thought that I could see a slight difference right away, but perhaps that was just my wishful thinking. After 1 week I could definitely see a difference, and after 3 weeks I was literally amazed at the results. Even when I frowned the lines were much less visible. The results seem to last as well because I didn't use it at all during my 3 weeks in Thailand but managed to retain a smooth forehead. Now that I am back in the office I find myself using it every night, I call it preventative maintenance now.
I have only been using this in one area but it can be used all over the face.
This filler costs £28 when it is full price but is often on offer (most recently for £15.) A little goes a long way so you will not run out quickly. I personally think, for the results you get, that this product is worth every penny!
When I originally wrote this review I gave it 4/5. I'm now so impressed with the results that I felt the need to increase it to top marks...Nice one Avon!!
