Advantages: Leaves your feet refreshed.

Disadvantages: Can be a bit messy.

I purchased the "Avon footworks comfort exfoliating clay mask, due to the fact i have thoroughly horrible feet/ trotters!!!!
My feet, (due to the fact i am in a standing job), get terribly sore and i have, as long as i can remember, always had cracked heels, so when i saw this product in the avon book i thought i would give it a go!!!

~~~ Background~~~
Firstly i would like to give you a little information on the essential oil that is actually used in this product.....LAVENDER.
Lavender is the most versatile essence and can be pretty much mixed with any other essential oil. It has strong antiseptic properties, when i had my children, (both by emergency caesarean section), the midwifes insist that all mothers with any sort of wound take regular lavender baths, A - for the healing and antiseptic quality's and B - for the simple reason that if you tell your partner the midwife has instructed you to do so, it means they have to look after the child for a couple of hours!!!!!
Lavender also relieves headaches, migraines, pms , shock and insomnia. I was advised by the wonderful people at Holland and Barrets that if i put a few drops onto a handkerchief and hung it in my sons room he would be sufficiently relaxed enough to start sleeping through the night........ and he did!!!!!
Lavender has been a favourite for many years, the Romans and the Greeks used this oil to soak themselves in the many baths that they liked to take and also to relieve sore feet.
This herb, (in all the wonderful variations you can get it in), has finally been recognised and was voted the "Herb of the year", in 1999, by the international herb association.
~~~ The product~~~

The product itself comes in a stand up tube, five and a half inches tall and two inches wide.
It has eye catching blue writing with a matching colour lid and a picture of a foot and the words "foot works", backed by a lilac swirl.

The tube is more or less transparent so the pale lilac clay is visible, without opening.

The clay has a lovely fresh scent to it, but is not overpowering, the lavender scent is subtle but still detectable.
The clay has an almost iridescent colour to it as its squeezed from the tube, it has a perfect consistency and when being rubbed gently into the foot has a fine grit consistency, admittedly i could do with something more of a sandpaper exfoliant for my feet, but that is another story!!!!!

The clay is dry within a couple of minutes, which is good as once applied to your feet you know that either nature will call or someone will be at the door!!!!

~~~ Instructions for use~~~
The back of the tube reads - Comforts and rejuvenates, making dry rough skin feel softer than ever.
TO USE - Smooth over legs and feet, allow to dry completely then rinse off.
I have always felt that Avon products come with very little information on use and purpose, so i do tend to stick to masks and nail varnish from them.
~~~ Price~~~

I believe this product is round abouts £2.00, i managed to get it on one of Avons many special offers!! I was able to purchase four footworks products for £5.00.
Other products include - odour neutralising spray,
foot exfoliater,
conditioning foot soak,
foot deodorant.

~~~ Conclusion~~~
When,(i can be arsed!!!), i have used the product it has left my feet lovely and soft, and very refreshed.
This is a lovely, if somewhat messy, product. I feel you need a good half an hour to put the treatment on and an old towel to rest your feet on until dry, go on ................PAMPER YOURSELF!!!!!
Thanks for reading my review!!
