I'm a big fan of face masks and normally buy the new Avon ones when they come out. I think I paid around a pound for this one which seems like a good bargain. This mask differs a lot from most I've tried as it is so runny. I know it's called yoghurt, but it really is a very loose consistency. The first time I used it I wasn't expecting it to come out so freely and ended up with lots more in my hand than I needed. Suffice to say I have now learnt not to squeeze the it too hard! This yoghurt mask have a lovely strawberry fragrance much like what I was expecting. It is very lightly tinted pink in colour and is almost transparent when on your face. The mask feels cool and moisturising when you put it on and leaves your skin feeling quite fresh. It's a nice, gentle, treat for skin, as opposed to the kind of mask I usually use which give you a deep clean.
Personally, my only gripe with this mask is that if you don't wash your face really thoroughly after then it can tend to feel sticky. On the packet it says 'Wash or tissue of' I cannot imagine anyone wanting to tissue this off as they would end up in a huge sticky mess. The instructions also say leave it on for up to ten minutes, no longer. Kind of annoying as I always end up leaving masks on for longer than you're supposed to, but this sounds rather ominous.
I really do like the smell and feel of this mask but due to the fact that it doesn't make a lot of difference to my skin, I am giving it 3 stars.
I ordered this from Avon not long ago at the reasonable price of only 99p.
The reasons I wanted to buy this were because it looked really nice in the brochure, and strawberry is one of my favourite flavours for bodycare products, and also because my face was feeling a bit dry and I thought it could have done with some revitalising.
This face mask comes in a light pink tube with an image of some strawberries on the front which look very succulent and tasty. There is 75ml in the tube and I must say I expected it to be bigger than it was in real life. In real life when it came with the rest of the order it seems very thin and doesn't seem to be that much mask in it. This lasted me about three uses but that is all.
I like how this smells, it smells just like strawberry, as the name and bottle design would suggest. It is a lovely smell but its just a shame about the mask itself as I don't think it works as well as I hoped it would.
It does feel nice when you are wearing it but I have tried much nicer masks before now that you can tell actually work to leave your skin feeling lovely and soft. This one didn't really make much difference and I think although it is a satisfactory product I wouldn't buy it again.
I brought this face mask when Avon had it on offer for 99p because I like strawberry smelling stuff and I remember using some of their other yogurt products and liking them before.
This smells proper fruity but is a bit milky as well in the smell. It's a creamy face mask that feels light when you're wearing it and it doesn't dry on my face so it feels like a proper intensive mask.
I left it on for about 20 minutes and didn't like it at the end because it went a bit sticky and funny feeling on my skin so I washed it off even though I wanted it on for half an hour like most of the face masks I use.
I washed it off with warm water and saw straight away that it hadn't done anything for my skin and didn't moisturise it like it said on the tube that it was going to. It left my face a bit softer but that only lasted until I washed my face on the night and then it was like I hadn't used a face mask at all.
I reckon for 99p it's worth it for the nice smell but the normal price is £3.00 and I wouldn't pay that for it because it doesn't do enough and there are loads better face masks out there for cheaper that do what they claim to do.
I love nothing more than a good face mask and I often give myself pampering evenings of beauty treatments. I own loads (believe me) and I believe that on the whole they are worth the time, effort and money to use because if not anything else you feel like your spoiling yourself a little and it's that it's 'me' time!
I never know what to order from Avon and I like my Representative (Anita) so I always make small purchases and this I saw on offer from £1.98 to 99p and I do love strawberry fragranced products so I couldn't resist giving it a whirl!
75ml light pink plastic tube with a photograph of strawberries on the front and a see-through flip top opening to the bottom concealing a small hole. On the front in white, pink and black writing I'm told it is Avon Naturals 'Face' Moisturising Strawberry Yogurt Face Mask (and then told that in a foreign language) and size is stated at the bottom. On the back of the tube (this time all in black writing) I'm given directions for use, a warning is given, ingredients are listed, the recycle symbol is displayed, I'm told that the product is made in Poland and finally the bar-code is on there (and a lot of that information is also given in other languages too).
Directions For Use...
After cleansing, massage onto face. Leave on for up to 10 minutes, no longer. Wash or tissue off. Use 2-3 times a week.
Well this is incredibly simple and straightforward to use! All you need is a small blob of the light pink, glossy lotion on the fingers and it easily spreads all over the face. As you do this you can see and feel some dark red seeds gently exfoliate your face as you massage it in but it doesn't feel harsh or abrasive and doesn't tingle or feel horrible.
I then sit back and relax for 10 minutes (actually almost forgetting it's there!) apart from the lovely fresh, rich and sweet strawberry smell of it.
It rinses off quickly and simply and leaves a delicate smell of the strawberries on the face for a couple of hours and no residue can be felt and there is no tightness of the skin at all.
Skin does feel a bit cleaner and fresher and most definitely smoother however these results are temporary. I have felt nor seen any differences in my skin in the long term at all. However as a little occasional treat (if alone for the smell!) it's great for the money just don't expect to get amazing results from something this cheap but it does make my skin feel clean after used!
Only available from Avon.
