When it comes to my skin I'm a bit of a snob, preferring brand names every time. That doesn't mean I only buy the most expensive, I couldn't afford it for a start and I'd miss out on some really good products. Among the brands I consider to be good but inexpensive are the Body Shop, L'Oreal and Avon. They've come a long way since the first adverts that had us all saying 'It's Avon' every time there was a ringing doorbell on the TV. Have you ever tried a ‘peel off’ facemask? No? Oh, you should they’re great fun! I have just used the one from the Avon Naturals Range called Avon Peel Off Mask with Grapefruit, containing extract of pink grapefruit. It is suitable for all skin types even sensitive skin, and it smells nice too. It is made by Avon Cosmetics and available either direct from Avon or from your Avon representative. It costs round about £3 for a 75ml tube. I would guess that, used properly, you would get about ten applications from a tube, so it’s good value. My skin is incredibly sensitive, more so since I became a victim of M.E., and I generally find myself suffering a bad reaction to most of Avon's products which can be quite harsh on my skin. Not so this one, it's a pure delight and I've never had any problems with rashes or sensitivity... The product is a delicious peel-off mask, with one of the most refreshing fruitiest fragrances I've come across! It is also very effective, in fact, sometimes scarily so!
