      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Avon does day and night, night better than day!

When I was in Prague, I was leaving the Hard Rock Cafe after a meal and I was given a bag with freebies in. Avon was just launching this new product and I need face cream on a day to day basis anyway so it was a bargain to get some for free.

I really like the concept of this face cream. It supplies the day and night cream in one package so it is very handy and ideal for taking on holiday or travelling. The cream comes in a white and blue plastic container with a screw on and off lid. Inside has one more lid, with two circles, one with a sunshine on and one with a moon on, one cream is for night and one for day, one is blue and one is white so it is more difficult to get the mixed up.

The day cream: Is white and nice and soft and creamy. It is cold to apply to your face and feels quite nice on. It is a bit greasy for day cream and leaves my face a little bit too shiney.

The night cream: Is blue and has a really nice consistency. Again it is soft and cool to apply to the face. It is quite greasy and shiney but you expect this from a night cream, just not a day cream. It clears dry skin and you wake up with it all soaked in and feeling nice and refreshed.

In summary, the night cream is great, but the day cream is too much like a night cream! The packaging concept is great, it is ideal for me to have one pot with two creams in for all uses.

Neither creams smelt horrible, or really of anything at all, and didn't irritate my sensitive eczema skin.

The packaging is a bit misleading as the creams do not take up the whole of the tub so it looks like you are buying more than you are!

        Disadvantages

        Great value product

I actualy tried this product as a sample from avon. My skin gets quite dry in the winter from the cold weather and i found this to soother it.
I performed my usual cleansing routine and scubbed my face for an even surface to apply this product to. It is a very thick cream, as you would expect for a dry skin. It definatey makes your skin feel comforted immediately, and smooth.I also found when i looked in the mirror it gave my face a glow. I waited around 10 minutes before applying any foundation and unfortunately the moisturiser rolled off my face. I am not too sure if this is because the cream was too heavy for my skin type or if it requires longer to sink in but i brushed off the little rolls of product and went out for the day Towards the evening I could feel a spot coming up under my face and I am sure this is to do with my face cream clogging my pores.

The day cream feels like a night cream, so I can only imagine the night cream would be even heavier and would probably require application half an hour before putting your head on your pillow at night.
I would only really recommend this to people who have a dry skin on a regular basis rather than seasonal and who do not need prescribed dermatological products, or those who are regularly outdoors.

        Advantages

        Disadvantages

A nice enough day to day moisturiser!

When it comes to face moisturiser it's something I religiously use and have done since I was about 15 years old when my Mother bought my first bottle of the pink Oil Of Olay that was all the rage at the time! I get told often that I don't look my age and I know that this isn't just because of ok genes but it's also because I do invest in a decent skin care regime!

Usually I use Olay products on my face but from time to time I do like a change and so when I saw this product on offer in the Avon catalogue I decided it was worth a go and whats more I may as well try it cos I never know what to order and I do like my Avon representative and hate to send her away with no order lol.

        The Packaging....

White square box with contrasting light blue sections of colour on it and in silver and blue writing on the front I'm told it is Solutions A.M Maximum Moisture and at the bottom of the box I'm told it is an Avon product, 50ml in size and contains SPF 15. On the back of the box I'm told a bit about the product and then there is loads of information given in foreign languages all over the place and on the bottom of the box ingredients are listed as are contact details for Avon and the recycle symbol is displayed. Inside the box there is leaflet giving much the same information as on the box really and the product comes in a clear glass jar with an opaque screw on/off plastic lid white lid to the top of it and again on the front of that I'm told the same information as the box. It's a nice enough jar and at this point I must point out that Dooyoo have added the link A.M and P.M creams (that are one product) for some reason and I'm reviewing simply the A.M moisture cream which is what I purchased!

A Bit About The product According To The Back Of Box....

Protective SPF 15 Day Cream releases moisture boosters in your skin. Contains Oxybenzone.

        Me Using It....

Well to use it I simply apply a few dots of the brilliant white coloured lotion to my face. Yes I think it's more of a lotion cos it isn't thick like a cream and appears glossy and is easily absorbed by the skin so you really don't need very much at all.

It is a little greasy during it's application, possesses a delicate and lightly fruity but none distinctive fragrance to it and as I have said it disappears into the skin really quickly.

        Verdict....

A nice every-day and gently hydrating cream. It's really easy and straightforward to use and definitely lets the skin breath and gently hydrates all day long. Great to use alone on clean skin or under make up for a smooth base and it contains SPF 15 which protects our skin from the elements too!

Now I haven't noticed any difference to the appearance of my fine lines, wrinkles crows feet or anything like that but when this is on my face my skin appears brighter and therefore more radiant, smoother to the look and touch of it and it doesn't give me any skin issues at all. Basically this just makes your skin feel protected and elasticity!

However I haven't felt any long term benefits from using this but it is a nice day to day product that as I have said makes the feel nice whilst it's on!

I paid £4.00 for my jar but it's usually £8.00 so do keep an eye out for this on offer if your interested in trying it!
