      Very helpful

If you can find them..try them

I do like my Avon products; as if you hadn't of guessed judging by my previous reviews.
What I like even better is finding a bargain, and when I chanced upon these in a sales leaflet a few months ago I liked the sound of them and put them in with my order.

The full name is "Avon Solutions Completely Clean Micro Exfoliating Cleansing Cushions"..yes really.

They caught my eye in the leaflet initially as they were not only half price, but promised to gently exfoliate the skin. As my skin can be quite sensitive at times they sounded ideal, but would they work?

As mentioned I did actually buy these a few months back and stored them away as I was already using a product at that time but thought they would come in handy for when we went away on holiday.

I packed these in my case and decided to test them out whilst we were away a few weeks ago and here's my opinion on them:

The Avon Solutions range has always been a bit hit and miss with my skin so I was unsure of how these would fare. I quite like the Solutions moisturising products but find their cleansers to not really do their job so I took a back up supply of cleansing wipes *just in case*.

The cushions are a flat, circular shape and are quite large - a couple of inches in circumference - for some reason I thought they would be smaller.
They have the usual rougher, exfoliating surface on lets call it side 'A', whilst over on side 'B' (I know, clever) is softer and smoother.

To use these 'cushions' is incredibly simple as all you do is either dampen the cushion under lukewarm water or wet your face first - both I have found have the same effect.
After using the exfoliating side you simply turn the 'cushion' over and the smoother side gently foams up to cleanse the skin. When you are done just rinse, pat dry and moisturise.

      My experience of using these~
I was a little apprehensive at first of their cleansing capabilities but decided to give them a try for at least a few days (that was as long as they didn't cause any skin reactions or rashes).
My skin is quite sensitive but these do say on the box they come packaged in they are suitable for sensitive skin so day one of our holiday I decided to use them.

The exfoliating side at first didn't feel like it was smoothing my skin at all as it didn't feel rough or grainy so I was a little disappointed..until I'd actually used all over my face (but not near my eyes - I'm blind enough without my glasses). My face felt like very soft after just using the 'rough' side so I eagerly flipped over the cushion to see what joys the smooth side would bring!
This didn't disappoint either as it lathered up perfectly and produced a soft, white creamy lather which once rinsed I have to say my skin felt amazing.

I continued to use these for the remainder of my holidays and until recently when I have unfortunately run out of them.

These come in a pack of 28 'cushions' and cost me £2 in the Avon sale brochure. The bad news is I think they have discontinued them as I haven't been able to locate any more - not even on ebay which is very disappointing.
I'm only hoping that Avon comes to it's senses and brings these back as they are a perfect 'solution' for my skin (..sorry).

They did not sting on application, nor cause any rashes and are suitable for sensitive skin and are hypoallergenic. All that aside, they left my skin feeling very clean and incredibly soft.

If you can come across these somewhere then I highly recommend them, but because of their lack of availability (at the moment anyway) I'm deducting a star..
