This is my 2nd time purchasing Bio Oil. I first used it after I had my son in 2005, because I was looking for something to make my stretch marks disappear. If you are a woman, you know that stretch marks are ugly and make you feel bad. I would never show off my stomach. I was skeptical at first, but after spending almost $100 on a ... I've had a scar on my stomach from an operation I had when I was around three months old and whilst it does not bother me, it is noticeable. I had read that bio-oil could help reduce scarring so thought it was worth a try. I bought what looks like a small tube of it for £8.99 but on applying it I realised that it was actually going to ... I heard so much hype about this oil I bought some. I have very uneven skin tone on my face so thought this would help. Unfortunately it did not, my face really reacted to it and came out in a rash, so dont think I will use it on my face again. Maybe it's okay for scarring and stretch marks which I dont have so cannot ... Read the complete review

I used bio oil for the first time when I was pregnant last year when I was given a sample of it in my bounty pack. I had heard miracle things about this stuff but did wonder if it could be a good as people said it was. I was particularly interested in it as a product to prevent stretch marks but was a bit disappointed to discover that ... Read the complete review

I have tried Bio-oil on an off for a number of years. Simply because it seems every womens magazine I reads has it on their "Top 10 Beauty Products" list. Honestly - I think this really only works, as it is a very greasy moisturiser, by softening the skin. Therefore the appearance is better. I first tried ... Read the complete review

I've never used Bio-Oil religiously or even all that regularly, but I occasionally apply it to areas of very dry skin and it does act as a very good moisturiser. Even though it is "non-greasy", you can tell it has been applied for an hour or so afterwards, so I would recommend that you apply the oil before you go to bed, as ... Read the complete review

I have always known bio oil as a product which is used to make the appearence of scars look better. I decided to try it one day, as i had burnt my hand on my hair straightners, and the scar on my hand was clearly visable and was showing no signs of fading! I also have 2 scars on my hand from the oven which i got from my hand ... Read the complete review

I was given a small bottle of this as a gift last year and have been using it ever since. As the instructions advise continuous usage for at least three months before any results become evident, I've waited to review this so that I can accurately discuss its effects on me beyond this time frame. ******************WHY I CHOSE ... I tried this product a couple of years ago, and sadly I don't think it made any difference. I have since learned, the only way to fade stretch marks (they never disappear) is to lose weight and moisturise regularly. I tend to favour the palmers cocoa butter that comes in a tub, over this product as it's cheaper and it smells ... Read the complete review

I was advised to buy this by my doctor after an operation. He said it would help to heal the scar tissue where they had operated. I was sceptical, and begrudged paying the extortionate price for something that I highly doubted would work - but I paid it and started using it. I picked mine up in Lloyds chemist - but you can get ... Read the complete review

amazing amazing amazing. Nothing else really needs to be said about this product to be honest but i will try. Bio-oil can be used for a range of skin care needs, scarring, uneven skin tone and simply to moisturise dry skin. I used it during both of my pregnancies to help with the appearance of my stretch marks and it was ... Read the complete review

I originally bought this product as I had some prominent scars on my arms which I was keen to minimise as much as possible. As other reviewers have noted this product is not cheap - approximately £8 for 60ml but I decided that because I was quite conscious of my scars to give it a go. So, the packaging is not that interesting ... Read the complete review

Bio Oil is fantastic, I had chicken pox when I was 18 and I was terrified that my skin would be ruined despite not scratching I was still left with several deep marks on my face and also chest and arms. I began using bio oil as soon as the scab had come off and literally within days it reduced the redness and then after a few weeks the ... Read the complete review

Desperate for a product to reduce scarring on the body, I stumbled upon this little (but expensive) gem one day online. I knew it wasn't going to be cheap - and it's not, but the results are quite staggering. Being unable to hand out £10 every few weeks on this product, I cannot state concisely what it's long term effects ... Read the complete review

I first started using Bio Oil when I was pregnant with my daughter. I bought it on a recommendation, and have been using it ever since. The main active ingredient in Bio Oil is something called PurCellin Oil, which is described as a recreation of the preen gland oil of ducks! It also contains vitamin A and E, along with ... i started using bio oil after reading some magazine reviews, on how it helps ease the appearance of stretch marks. i have these marks at the inner partof my thighs, and find it very embarassing. i bought the 250ml of bio oil for around £15. i find the fragrance quite nice, and the formula is light and non greasy. it absorbs quite easily ... I started using Bio Oil due to scars and hyperpigmentation left on my skin from past acne, which I really hated and just wanted rid of. The product claims to help heal scars and help with uneven skin tone too so, although cynical (as I tend to be with all products- especially if they make such fantastic claims!) I had high hopes and ... Read the complete review

I first used bio oil after the physio therapist recommended it to me after I broke my ankle. I had just got the cast taken off and my skin was shedding. It looked very very disgusting. Having had burn scars and other scars on my arms and legs for a few years and recent ones I looked around the internet in search for a product that would help the scars to fade.
