I tried Biotherm products for the first time when they were on a 3 for 2 in Boots, they are quite expensive and so at least this way you get them a little bit cheaper. They very often are on 3 for 2 in Boots I find, and so I always wait to replace products or to try new products then. I have also occasionally bought Biotherm products duty free, again to save some money.
This is very expensive for a make-up remover, especially as it is quite a small bottle 125ml. However it does work very very well. I find that you do not need to use an awfull lot of it to remove eye make up completely, unlike some cheaper brands whereby you end up using loads and loads to take your make up off - making them not so cheap after all as you are constantly replacing them.
This is one of those two-phased liquid make up removers that you shake before using to mix the two layers together. You then squeeze a small amount onto a cotton pad, I find it best to then hold the soaked cotton pad on my eye to 'dissolve' my make up and then wipe it off. It takes off all traces off eye make up, including waterproof mascara and dark heavy liner or eyeshadows very easily. It is really quite gentle, it doesn't sting or irritate at all, it also doesn't dry your skin out, and it doesn't leave a greasy film behind like some make up removers do. I do always use a wash off cleanser afterwards, but that's personal choice, it's not to get rid of any oily film or excess make up left behind by the eye make up remover.
This is suitable for contact lens wearers, I wear contact lenses and I have had no problems at all with this. I have bought this quite a few times now, and I will continue to do so.
I inherited a bottle of Biotherm Waterproof Eye Make-Up Remover from my sister who donated it to me because she isn't able to wear eye make up because of a eye condition - and she was given it at a cosmetic trade fair she attended. I had never heard of Biotherm before receiving this product (and now of course I see it everywhere!) and having used this product I would be tempted to try other Biotherm products in future. Although I received this product for free, I have looked it up and a 125 ml bottle for the Waterproof Eye Make-Up Remover can be bought for £26.33 on Amazon (including postage and packaging). I have to say that I was quite shocked by this price and think it is extortionately high for eye make-up remover and no matter how effective it may be, I realy don't think I would pay out this amount when you can get eye make-up remover for a fraction of the price!
The eye-make up remover comes in a aqua blue transparent bottle with white writing on it, including the Biotherm Biocils logo, and it is topped with a white cap. The bottle is functional and contains information regarding directions for use which are simple, clear and easy to follow. There is a hole in the top of the bottle to pour out the solution, and it is easy to direct the solution onto a cotton wall ball - which is what I use to apply it. The fluid is slightly tinged blue and so it's easy to see when you have enough solution on the cotton wool. A little goes a long way and so you really don't need very much to remove even the toughest of eye make up, but I would expect this at this high price!
I use the cotton wool to wipe the eye from the inside corner of the eye (near the nose) and then sweep it out towards the outer areas of the eye. I use a clean piece of cotton wool for each eye, for hygiene reasons. It only takes a few sweeps on the cotton wool over the eye area to remove all traces of the eye make-up which is really very impressive. There is no scrubbing needed.....just a gentle sweep.
In addition to this, despite sensitive skin, particularly around my eyes, I find that my skin does not react negatively to this product at all. Infact, after use, my eye area feels really refreshed, hydrated and moisurised - and there is absolutely no stinging which I find with a lot of eye make-up removers. I do like the convenience of having eye make-up remover pads and so it would be nice if they made this product in pad form, but I can only find it in the bottle solution form.
Overall, I do think this is a very very good product, but I wouldn't be prepared to pay £26 for it! If I can find it cheaper then I will be buying it again though.
The Biotherm Biocils Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover comes in a blue squeeze bottle with a flip up white lid and silver and white writing on it.
The bottle itself is around about £13 for a 125ml bottle, so it's not a cheap option but i do however find that a bottle of the eye makeup remover usually lasts me for around 3 months so price wise it's not at all a bad buy for the money.
When using this product I find that a little does go a long way so I squeeze a very small amount of the clear gel on to a piece of cotton wool and very gently rub it on to my eye and it does remove every trace single of makeup, even including my water resistant mascara effortlessly. I find this a great selling point as with most of the other brands I have used in the past I have found I have had to rub quite hard on my eyes and that can leave the skin around the eye area a little bit sore.
My skin does have a tendency to be slightly sensitive but I have never had a bad reaction to this product and find it very gentle on my eyes and even leaves the skin around them feeling slightly moisturised after I have used it.
The product doesn't have a strong distinctive smell just a very nice subtle smell like the rest of their range.
I absolutley swear by this product as being the best eye make up remover that I have ever come across and I have tried loads, the downside is that it is not cheap as you can end up paying anything from £13 to 20 pounds for a 125ml bottle however one of the things that off sets the cost is teh fact that it is so good you do not need to use a lot to achieve impressive results.
It is particularly good because of it's ability to remove water proof eye liner and mascara. Like many of the Biotherm products you do not need to use a lot to get really effective results which is an important factor as it will last a lot longer than cheaper products, indeed I reckon I get two or three times as many usages out of it compared to a similar sized bottle of a cheaper product.
It comes in a rich blue coloured bottle with a white top and the distinctive Biotherm silver lettering. What I like is that you have really good control over how much you are using as long as you slowly tip th bottle and pour the liquid onto a cleansing pad.
It was really amazed the first time I used this, I was also impressed with hos gentle it is on your skin and also just how much make up it removes in a single wipe. It has a cooling, soothing sensation to it and is a pleasure to use/
Certainly this is a product that I would highly recommended product from me and one that is well worth buying in my opinion as the results are so good.
Every Biotherm product I have bought and used so far has been impressive and so farIi have a good range of biotherm products to use on my skin. My latest purchase was these Biotherm Biocils Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover and they are just as good as the other biotherm products I own.
I buy them online at Amazon or from the biotherm site and this beauty product costs £12.90 for a 125ml bottle.
The biotherm logo is on all it's products and all of them come in a dainty attractive designed bottle or tub.
This works well for sensative skin and removes make-up and eyeliner quite easily without stinging the eyes or leaving a greasy residue after you use it. You only need a little on a small ball of cotton wool to be able to gently remove the make-up from the day.
I like the fact that this is for sensative skin as you really do have to be careful what you buy when you have sensative skin, I find all the biotherm products are for sensative skin and this one is no exception.
It has a flip up lid for easy use and you only need a little, which is good as it is expensive. I find that sometimes buying an expensive product seems to last longer than the cheaper versions as you don't need a much and the consistancy is usually thicker than the cheaper versions. I don't mind paying extra for quality and this has that quality element about it.
It works great for taking off waterproof make up and eyeshadow as well as not drying up the skin after use or leaving it greasy. I think it's worth the money you will pay for it and biotherm products seem to be getting more and more popular now.
This is probably the best eye make up remover that I have ever used and even though a 125ml bottle will set you back anthing from £13 to the £20 mark however it is money well spent in my opinion as it is a really effective cleanser.
One of the reasons that it is so good is in it's ability to remove water proof eye liner and mascara, it comes in a rich blue coloured bottle with a white top and the distinctive Biotherm silver lettering.
Like a lot of the Biotherm products you do not need to use a lot to get really effective results which is an important factor and helps to justify the higher price when compared with cheaper products which will not last as long while with this product you do not need to use a lot so you will get a decent amount of cleaning from it.
It has a simple to operate flip top lid, do be careful that you do not get too much out when you first use it, you have to slowly tip the bottle otherwise the cotton pad will get soaked with the odourless liquid and you will waste a lot of the product. A few drops is all that is needed and the cotton pad will remove the make up with a couple of wipes.
It amazed me the first time I use this how softly I wiped my eye and just how much make up came off, there is no need to apply a lot of pressure on your eye area. It has a nice soothing effect and does not cause any irritation at all.
Definitely a highly recommended product from me and one that is well worth buying in my opinion as the results are so good.
Since using up all my Biotherm products that I got for Christmas Ive been dying to try out a few more from the range. Now since most of the products Ive been impressed by have been designed for use on your face I thought Id try out a few more - all in the name of research for Dooyoo obviously! So with my last batch of amazon vouchers I decided to treat myself to a few more products from the range one of which was this "Biotherm Biocils Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover" which I bought around a month ago. Its strange for me to even bother trying out a new eye make-up remover because Ive already found one that works perfectly for me (the No7 one) but this time I was treating myself so without a second thought I bought it.
Price: Around 13.00 - 125ml bottle. (Price varies GREATLY on this product.)
Stockists: Amazon, Debenhams, House Of Fraser, Boots & cheapsmells.com
Other Info: This formula is non-greasy but is said to simply dissolve even waterproof eye make-up. This is suitable for those with sensitive skin & contact lens wearers.
My bottle looks exactly the same as in the picture but as is the case in most of my reviews I do have some problems with it! You simply flip open the lid and squeeze to get this liquid out and that means a lot of the time too much comes out and you end up wasting loads or getting way too much of it on your face. This could be so much better if it had a pump on the top as that way you wouldnt waste as much and only use exactly the amount you need. At this price I dont want to waste any formula!!
Anyway to use you simply give the bottle a shake - this ensures the oil and water mix together properly, then put a squirt onto a cotton wool pad and start wiping away. The liquid does comes out with a slight blue tinge but nothing major and even though it promises otherwise it does feel slightly greasy. A small amount seems to be more than enough for each eye - and I do wear quite a bit of eye make-up so for those who dont wear a lot one bottle will last you ages!
This does remove all trace of eye make-up Im not going to dispute that at all and Ive never had any problems with it drying out my skin or making it feel sore. But this works just as well as my ordinary make-up remover and still has the slightly greasy residue left behind so I am left thinking would I buy this again when my No7 one - which is about half the price does the same job? No I dont think I would bother. It is a very good eye make-up remover and it does remove all trace of make-up (even waterproof) but for the price I just expected something more.
Its very good but there are others out there that are just as good with the same result for less than half the price. I do recommend but only if your rolling in cash which lets face it not many people are! Its good. But not good enough.
Thanks For Reading.

Biotherm Biocils Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover
One of my worst habits is taking off the rest of my makeup using a lotion and then forgetting or not being bothered to take off my mascara and eye makeup before bed, making me wake up looking a bit like a panda lady. In an attempt to make it easier and lazier for myself rather than having to spend ages trying to wash the often very stubborn eye makeup off I invested in this product to make everything much simpler and to not give me any excuse for not doing it.
To use this simply shake the bottle well to mix the two phased formula and then apply a generous amount onto some cotton wool or cotton pads. For best results, I find that you need to make sure that you get the cotton wool damp but not dripping. Then just sweep across your eyes being careful not to be too rough, I find that depending on how much eye makeup I have on that day sometimes I need quite a few different pieces of dampened cotton wool and for hygienic reasons I like to use a separate one for each eye.
After you have finished removing the eye makeup there is no need to do anything else or further rinse. However, I often find that I prefer to just give my face and eye area a quick splash with water to remove any final residue.
This eye makeup remover is ph neutral and I have found it to be very gentle to my skin.
As with most of all the Biotherm skin care ranges the packaging is simple but nice and personally I think that they look very nice sat in most bathrooms.
This typically costs around £14 when purchased from Biotherm, which is a tad expensive for an eye makeup remover. However, I have used cheaper makeup removers in the past that have left my skin irritated, I have never found that I have had an adverse reaction to any of Biotherm skin care products.
Depending on how regularly you need to use this product and how much you need to use each time you should at least get a couple of months worth from this 125 ml bottle.
This product does exactly what you would expect of an eye makeup remover, it removes your eye makeup with minimal fuss and ease. I'm pleased with this product and as such I think that it deserves a pretty good four out of five stars.
