I tried Biotherm products for the first time when they were on a 3 for 2 in Boots, they are quite expensive and so at least this way you get them a little bit cheaper. They very often are on 3 for 2 in Boots I find, and so I always wait to replace products or to try new products then. I have also occasionally bought Biotherm products duty free, again to save some money.
I decided to buy the exfoliating cleanser for my husband, he is not really into lotions and potions so I buy anything he needs, The most I can get him to use is a cleanser, nothing else. He does have oily skin with some flaky patches, and so I figured that this would kill two birds with one stone - a cleanser and an exfoliator.
Within just a few days of using this I noticed a vast improvment in his skin; it felt softer, it was definately less oily, it had less open pores, and the flaky patches were completely gone. He doesn't use much of it, a little goes a long way, and so it will last him quite a while. I've even used this myself on a weekend away when I forgot to pack my cleanser. I was a little bit dubious as I though it might be too harsh for my skin, but it was surprisingly gentle. I wouldn't want to use it myself for more than a few days as it was ever so slightly drying on my skin, I did use a bit more moisturiser than normal that weekend. It isn't marketed as a women's product though.
I will definately continue to buy this for him, he says he likes it, which is a bit like giving it 5 stars! I'm also impressed with the difference it has made to his skin in a short amount of time.
