I recently reviewed the Boots Essentials make up remover and today I am reviewing the facial toner in the same range of Boots Essentials range, it, at the time I bought this one I was torn between this one and one that was fragrance free and so I bought them both because they were so low in price and since I use tons of beauty products because I am a junkie with cleansing products and always have since I first started doing my cleansing routine as a teenager. This one comes in a plastic bottle with a flip lid, the toner is quite thin in consistency and the texture is quite smooth, it has a nice mild fragrance to this one and in my opinion although it is a ... I bought this in Boots as I've been impressed by some of the other products in the Essentials range, particularly the moisturiser. I have quite oily skin and like the extra-clean feeling you can only get from a toner, but at the same time I don't want to spend loads on a fancy name and packaging, so I thought I'd give this a try. It's exclusive to Boots and retails for £1.39 for 150ml, which is a similar price to the other products in the Essentials Cucumber range - bargain! The packaging is very simple: it's a translucent clear bottle with a pale green plastic cap which flips up and just has a small hole to dispense just the right amount at a time. It has a ... I have recently started using the Boots Essentials Cucumber skincare range. The reason for this is that I simply could not afford my previous range from The Body Shop anymore. This is a budget range from Boots as it is own branded, and I was not expecting big things from it. However, I have dabbled with many of the products in the range and been pleasantly surprised with it. One of this miracle products is the facial toner which I absolutely love. I must start out by saying that I have never really been big on skincare until recently. Because of being on a budget, I used to use make up wipes to remove make up, and then give my face a good wash. Since ... Read the complete review

I could never wash my face and then just leave it - I really do feel the need to use a facial toner every time. I find using a toner rids my skin of any small impurities that cannot be seen with the naked eye. One of the better cheaper facial toners I have used is Boots Essential Cucumber Toner. This 150ml bottle only cost £1.50 and it lasts for ages. I have paid a fortune for toners in the past and a lot of them have been either too hash for my skin (and drying) or they are just way over the top price-wise. This Cucumber toner from Boots is mild and gentle and yet it has the ability to clean all the impurities off my skin at the same time. It feels light ... Read the complete review

I invested in the Boots Essentials Cucumber range last year- as they are cheap and cheerful and just about the right size to pop into your luggage to take on your hols and then use up/ throw away whilst you are there. I used the Essentials Cucumber Facial Cleaner first, rubbing into my skin using a circular motion and then removing with a cotton pad. After this, I used the Boots Essentials Cumber Facial Toner. I squeezed some of the toner on to a cotton pad, being careful not to over load it and also at the same time ensuring I have enough on there! I then wipe it across my skin to remove any excess dirt or cleanser that hasn't already been removed. I have ... Read the complete review
