I have been using Boots No 7 Dual Protection tinted Moisturiser for the last six months and can really recommend it as an excellent base for the face. I have a fair complexion so I have to be very careful what shade and type of base I use as I can very easily look too made up and false. Finding the right shade for my skin tone can be a real problem but after a (very long) discussion with a great sales assistant in Boots, we finally came up with this one and I’m so pleased I did.
I paid £10 for the 50ml flat looking tube, which is made of plastic and coloured in off white with light gold lettering. The outside of the tube clearly states what the product is. The first time I used this we were still in the winter months and my skin was even paler than it is now. It contains an SPF 15 which is great as I always think you should use some form of sun protection on your face.
When I first squeezed this out of the tube and applied to my skin I was a bit worried that it might be too dark a shade. As soon as I gently stroked it onto my face though, the way I’d been shown, it blended perfectly and gave my skin tone some warmth without looking unnatural or fake. Not only that, but it also covered the small blemishes I have at the sides of my nose.
It’s a great creamy consistency and not thick at all. I’ve found it’s best to use a light eye cream around the eyes before applying this though. Although it’s advertised as being a tinted moisturiser I think it lacks enough moisture and I was finding it was having dragging feeling around the under eye area. I use a light eye gel underneath the eyes before applying this tinted moisturiser and this really helps.
The cream is long lasting and gives me a warm glow all day. It’s perfect for summer or winter use and is so much better than using a thick foundation as I feel it actually helps my skin to breathe.
It’s worth the price and I really recommend it.
I try to avoid wearing foundation all the time to give my skin and pores a rest and have found that tinted moisturiser is a great alternative. I use no7 moisturiser and rate it highly so thought I would start by trying their tinted moisturiser. I still apply moisturiser first, although they say this isn't necessary, my skin is quite dry so I like to have a base of moisturiser first. I'll leave this for about 5 minutes or so to soak in before applying the tinted moisturiser. I usually squirt a large pea size onto the back of my hand and then apply with my fingers. It provides a nice even coverage and the colour is a good match to my skin (I use the fair one). As a moisturiser, it isn't particularly rich so if you do have dry skin, I'd recommend that you continue to apply your usual moisturiser. It provides a light sheen effect, I like this look apart from on my forehead, where I sometimes apply powder on top to lessen the sheen.
The coverage lasts quite well although it does wear off - if you want consistent coverage you need to reapply after 4hours. A tube this size lasts me about 3months if I use it most weekdays which I think is good value for money.
Sometimes a foundation can be too heavy and inappropriate for my job but I still feel the need to wear something. I've found that tinted moisturisers fill these boots perfectly and I've tried a few over the years but one of my favourites is the Dual Protection Tinted Moisturiser by NO7.
The product which has been created by Boots promises to give you a natural and sheer coverage. It claims to give the skin long lasting hydration, to protect your skin from the elements and to diffuse the light, giving your skin a healthy radiance. On top of all that, the product offers SPF 15 protection too.
How do you use the product?
The product is to be applied to skin that has been cleansed and dried. I always apply a moisturiser before using a foundation but as this product is also a moisturiser, then this isn't necessary. I still do apply moisturiser before hand however as it's a habit too hard to break but the product still goes on nicely. You are instructed to shake the bottle use and then to smooth the product onto the skin all over the face.
The product comes within a pearlescent, pale gold bottle which is made out of a thin, flexible plastic. It has a screw top lid and you dispense the product out of the bottle by squeezing the bottle. It is easy to dispense but you need to make sure that you don't squeeze the bottle too hard or loads will come out. The product becomes increasingly difficult to access as you come towards the end of the bottle and you will need to cut the bottle open to access the last few drops.
The product costs around £11 so it's not very cheap. It can be bought from your local Boots store or from its online website. For your money, you will receive 50ml of the product which should last you a few months, even when used daily.
As fair as I'm aware, the product comes in two shades which are fair and medium. I own the fair one. When you first see the 'fair' colour, you'll see that it isn't actually that fair. When you massage it into the skin however it does go sheer and the colour is less noticeable. I'm not sure I would call it sheer because it does look a little like I'm wearing a light foundation. The colour is fine for me but if you have very pale skin, I don't think the colour would work.
The product doesn't have much of a scent, but it doesn't smell faintly of play dough but the smell isn't noticeable anymore once it has been applied to the face. The consistency of the product is fairly thick, yet it is easily massaged into the skin and you have plenty of time to blend the product before it dries. It is very light and comfortable on the face and it doesn't itch or irritate my skin. The product states that it is suitable for all skin types.
It certainly keeps the skin moisturised all day long, with no feelings of dryness at all. The moisturiser does leave a slight sheen on the skin which I'm not a fan of but if you use a mattifying powder on the top then it's ok. I would really love an oil free version made of this!
The coverage is good and it does cover some of my imperfections and a concealer can be used to cover the rest. It reflects the light as promised and it does make the complexion look brighter. I've worn this product alone on my face while on holidays too and I've never burnt my skin whilst using it so it is perfect for this purpose.
All in all, this is a ready great multi purpose product that gives you a light coverage of colour, good moisturisation and a nice level of protection. It is long lasting and easy to use. My only problems with the item would be the range of colours available and perhaps the price. Other than that, this is a lovely product.
During the summer months I find that my usual foundation (Boots No 7 again!) is a bit too on the heavy side for every day use for work. However, I am so pale normally that I hate the thought of leaving the house without some form of make up on. So, I picked up the Fair shade of this tinted moisturiser to give it a try. Now, when I've tried tinted moisturisers before I have found them to have either virtually no effect or look so orange it's ridiculous.
Not with the No 7 Fair Dual Protection Tined Moisturiser however! I loved it from the first wear and now tend to use it every day even now in Autumn, rather than foundation, unless I have something important on which requires just that extra bit more.
It gives a good, even coverage, without looking too 'orange', and moisturised my skin brilliantly. My skin tends to be dry and sensitive and I did wonder to start with as to how well this one would keep my skin moisture going, but I can't fault it at all. Great lasting colour whilst keeping my skin looking radiant and moisturised all day long!
I will definitely be buying this again!
This says duel protection in big letters as part of the product ttle, but I really don't think it is. I get that its a moisturiser, and I guess that's one of the protections its on about, but really, is it? Moisturiser moisturies you skin, and that's that, you can actually live without it. The real protection is that it has an SPF of 15, and that's all.
The duality of this product comes really from the fact that it is a moisturiser AND a foundation. It's byline emphasising this by saying 'long lasting hydration, environmental protection and beautiful sheer colour.' Actually this part I would disagree with too. The colour isn't all that good. In fact the moisturiser is barely adequate, as told to me by the sales woman in the shop when I bought it would advised me that I would need to use my normal moisturiser and then this on top. So basically just a foundation then!
As a foundation it actually does what I want it to so I am not actually all that disappointed in the product. I wanted something that would give me just a hint of colour, so that I could wear it to work, where I don't like to look like I am all dressed up to the nines and about to hit the local clubs. I prefer the natural look, and that's what this gives me. I can imagine, though, that it would be a disappointment to anyone hoping one tube would do for moiusturiser, foundation and an SPF.
My moisturiser comes in a 50ml tube but I have just noticed on their website that they are now 40ml. It is quite flat, therefore storing quite easily in my make-up basket without rolling anywhere inconvenient. One simple twist and the cap comes off. It's easy to squeeze out and easy to apply, although, as stated, goes on easier with already moisturised skin.
There are two colours available, Fair and Medium. I have the Fair, and get more use out of it in the winter that the summer. When my skin is tanned it makes no difference whatsoever. It's when I look pale and uninteresting in the winter that it helps me to shake off the undead look. So for those of you just starting to lose your tans this might be just what you are looking for.
It retails from Boots at £11.00
I am a big fan of the No7 range and this product is one of my favourites of the whole range!
* First Impressions + Cost *
I have to say first impressions were £12 for that tube! I thought this was a bit pricey and as a student i'm counting every penny but i went ahead and bought it anyway. I bought the lighter shade ( medium) as my skin is quite pale and the colour of the tube is the exact same colour as the moisturiser inside which I thought was really helpful , it basically means you do not need to spend all day in the shop looking for a moisturiser that will fit your skin type!
+++ Positives +++
What I like about this product is that it does not feel thick or
smothering on your skin; infact you forget its on after a while . This particular tinted moisturiser gives your skin a nice healthy glow and leaves it feeling soft afterwards. It's very comfortable on your skin and it feels close to natural , leaving your skin to breathe! Another plus point is that it also provides a SPF 15 protection against those rays aswell, great for the summer here in the UK !
I also have sensitive skin and this moisturiser did not irritate it at-all , so that's good for all you sensitive ones out there!
- - - Negatives - -
A negative for those on a budget would be the price of course but my tube lasted a good couple of months with regular use so it is good value for money.
Another negative for me was the thick consistency of the moisturiser ; it was too thick to just put on my face as it was so i mixed it with a regular moisturiser aswell.
Overall , this is another great product from the No 7 range and I would highly recommend it if you just want to enhance your natural skin tone.
I am incredibly pale skinned, and it had got to the point whereby any foundation was too heavy for my skin, and made my make-up look too false. I tried No7 tinted moisturiser simply because I had £5 off the Boots range (how much I love those vouchers!) and it turned out to be the best face make-up I've ever bought. It comes in two shades - dark and light, so is perfect for any skin colour.
The moisturiser goes on evenly easily as the texture is smooth and liquid. However, just like foundation, you do have to be careful in order to make sure you don't get the tell-tale lines around the chin area. I was expecting the product to give me a very pale colour and to make me look as if I wasn't wearing make-up. Whilst the overall effect was very natural, I still found that the colour was a little orange, but this could just be because I am so pale.
As the coverage isn't very thick, I would only recommend this for those who are very comfortable with their skin, as it won't cover many blemishes. However, for those that are only looking for a light, natural coverage this product is perfect!
At £11, the product does seem a little pricey, but actually lasts for ages! I use mine every day and it has lasted me 2 months so far, with plenty more to spare - a bargain in my opinion! Also, the tint seems to last all day long, just what us girls want - no need to keep reapplying!
Boots No7 Dual protection tinted moisturiser
I've written a few negative reviews on Boots No7 products of late and I would like to rectify that with a really positive one. On the whole I really love the No7 range, I think it is usually well priced and the products live up to the expectations I have.
The tinted moisturiser comes in just two shades; medium or fair. I have the fair shade, however, I think it is a bit too fair, but when I tried on the medium it was just too dark for me. It just means that often when I wear this I just apply a little bit of bronzer with it as well, and problem solved I get the perfect colour.
--So why exactly do I like this product so much?--
The product itself is really thin and it leaves you with that natural no make-up look that we all need a bit of make-up to attain. I find that I love this product especially in nice weather when I don't want to wear too much foundation that I might just sweat off.
Personally, I have found that the dual protection tinted moisturiser from boots does a pretty decent job at evening out my skin tone after a quick application. Often when I'm in a rush this is a much quicker option than a foundation. It doesn't provide you with the same coverage as a foundation but it just makes my skin look that bit better.
I usually need to add a bit of my normal moisturiser to it or apply a moisturiser first because I sometime have quite dry skin and this isn't a strong enough moisturiser for me. This probably means that if you have normal to combination skin you could still use this as it isn't too strong.
It contains an SPF 15 which means that wearing it when it gets a bit sunny out doesn't result in a red face at the end of the day. It doesn't mean in the stronger sun you shouldn't wear a stronger SPF factor it's just nice on those days when you are caught out and you really should have put a touch of sunscreen on. To my dismay I am very prone to getting red cheeks in even the cloudiest of days. Even in the winter I often wear this as a base before I put on my foundation because as I just mentioned even in the winter sun I sometimes find I need a little bit of SPF, besides I'm a firm believer that a bit of protection is better in the long run.
The packaging is quite simple in a skin toned/ beige squeezable tube. Unlike the skin illuminator product I previously reviewed this is really easy to use and get just the right amount out. You don't need to use much of this product to give your face a nice even coverage.
Personally, I think this is priced quite fairly, it maybe is on the expensive end for a tinted moisturiser but I have found that mine has lasted for quite a while and it's a product that I enjoy using. It is currently retailing in store for £11 for a 50ml tube, remember and watch out for any vouchers or three for two offers that Boots might be running.
Overall, I am going to give this product four out of five stars. It loses one star because there is only two shades available and neither one of them suits me perfectly. It really is a great product that is suited to the summer weather.
Just a side note but I love buying my make-up from Boots because if you have a loyalty card and are as big a cosmetics junkie as me it doesn't take that long for the points and free gifts to mount up.
Boots No7 Dual Protection Tinted Moisturiser is one of the foundation products in the No7 range. The range comprises of a variety of foundations to suit most skin types. There are heavier foundations, such as the Stay Perfect range, that are made for a fuller coverage and can hide blemishes on the skin.
There are other foundations made form pure minerals, which use a non clogging formula similar in consistency to a powder, but without powder! The Intelligent Colour foundations, have a light serum like texture that blend with your natural skin tone to give a flawless finish and then there is the Boots No7 Dual Protection Tinted Moisturiser which adds another dimension to the range.
For anyone who uses No7 products but has yet to try this, it may be worth hanging on if you need to stock up on new make up items until the next No7 gift with purchase hits the shelves. Very often these gift sets contain samples of the moisturiser, especially in the summer gift sets. That way you will have a chance to see if this suits you before shelling out for the full sized product.
The Tinted Moisturiser is really very suitable with summer almost here, as with nicer weather it can make a change to be able to go for a lighter foundation such as this one. Even though it says that this is only a tinted foundation, it does have quite a lot of tint.
Bearing this in mind you may, once you have tried this, feel that you want to thin the mix even more by adding a drop of your normal moisturiser to the skin tint. That way an even lighter more golden and natural look can be achieved which is more in keeping with a soft summer look.
The tinted moisturiser contains a multi antioxidant complex and also a sun protection factor of 15, so as Boots say it offers your skin dual protection from the harmful rays of the sun and from any potentially damaging effects from pollution. The product comes in either a fair or medium shade to suit and costs around £11 for a shimmery gold squeezable tube, containing 40mls of product.
If you want a summery looking sheer tint to your skin, with light diffusing qualities that can be worn very naturally then this would be a good make up item to try. Awarding this 4 stars as its very nice to use, but there are one or two other foundations in the range that are as good if not a little better.
I really only purchased this tinted moisturiser because I had a £5.00 off voucher for Boots No7 products. This is the first No7 product I have ever bought, but I am now completely converted! I was initially looking for a new foundation to suit my oily and dry combination skin, however upon speaking to the advisor she strongly suggested that this moisturiser might be more suitable for my skin type.
*** Packaging ***
The packaging for this tinted moisturiser is simple yet very effective, the golden shimmering bottle instantly gives me the impression of a sun kissed glow.
The front of the bottle tells you all the essential information - such as the added bonus that the moisturiser has SPF protection and is hypoallergenic.
The back of the bottle contains a long list of ingredients, which I do find slightly concerning - it surely cannot be healthy to have so many different products layered on your face!
The bottle itself holds 50ml of the moisturiser and stands on the lid - which I am sure will be handy in getting the last few drops out.
*** The Product ***
Upon initially squeezing the moisturiser out the bottle I wasn't impressed, I felt it looked very much like your average foundation - which is exactly what I was trying to stay away from, as they tend to look 'caked on' on my sensitive skin.
However, I was pleasantly surprised when I began to rub it in. I have read that a few people have had problems blending this product in. For me personally I felt it blended in brilliantly and was just as though I was applying a normal moisturiser.
The moisturiser concealed my pores and is even pretty good at covering any small spots and/or blemishes - however for added coverage I would definitely recommend using a green concealer.
For me personally the fair shade leaves me with a healthy glow, however the darker shades leave me looking a bit orange - but I do have very fair skin!
It feels light on the face, and my skin can actually breather. For added coverage I will sometimes add powder etc... However for daytime I find that the moisturiser with some mascara and lip-gloss is perfect.
*** Price and Availability ***
This tinted moisturiser is from the Boots No7 range and costs £10.50, however as Boots quite often have £5.00 off vouchers you could buy yourself a bargain.
Even at the full price I feel that it is very reasonable for the results it gives you.
I will definitely be buying this again when mine runs out!
------Thank you for reading, this review will also appear on Ciao under the same username-----
I suffer with terrible skin issues as of late (Damn adult skin!) my t-zone being dry, and the rest of my face a combination of normal and oily, so I cannot win. I bought numerous foundations and put them on to look lovely at the start of the day to find flaking all over my face by the end of the day :(!
So I looked into tinted moisturiser. I had one when I was younger and thought these tinted creams were rubbish as it just went on with no colour added to my skin, lets say they have come a long way since the 90's!
For around £10 the boots branded one is abit steep for my purse, but with the bonus of advantage points, it made my purchase possible! (yay!) the product is hypo allergenic and contains an spf 15, which is fab as my skin is really fair (Even an old lady I never knew pointed this out about 3 times on a bus journey home, yep the joys!) and I don't fancy burning and causing wrinkles later on in life!
but still, have the issue of skin matching. The Fair coloured moisturiser is still too dark for my skin, it gives me a slightly orange hue when on.
I have issues with its 'blendability' (made up word alert!) It dries far to quickly for any blending to commence and for a 'tinted' moisturiser, it's pretty close to being an actual foundation. if you are very fair I recommend blending it down your neck, it isn't a good look to have a faintly orange head and a very white looking neck (oh the shame!)
But the product in all fairness does not leave me with the ghastly dry patches I suffer with, and does not make my skin look oily or grease slicked.
If anything I think it should be a few pound cheaper, and should bring out another colour range at least, the two colours they offer now are not varied enough for olive or dark skinned types in my opinion and orange notes can be a wee bit strong for what the product is.
In conclusion, anyone suffering with poor skin conditions who needs a boost daily or for outings with a decent skin tone should really consider investing in this, it could be a skin saver!
I use Boots Tinted Moisturiser when I go on holiday and in the summer, if we get a sunny summer anyway. I find the moisturiser is really good if you've got a bit of a tan and apply it under a little bit of bronzer. The moisturiser is a nice smooth consistency and a good colour, which isn't too dark, although you do really need a bit of a tan and colour to your face else it can look a little bit like a mask. The moisturiser is 'moisturising', and leaves a healthy natural glow on a tanned face, I've tried the light shade and the medium: the medium gives a more tanned look, whereas the light gives a natural sun-kissed look. There isn't much depth to the colour though and you do need a blusher or bronzer over the top to give a bit of shape and colour to the face. Also I find that it is a little greasy and does go on quite thickly unless you are very, very careful and only use the tiniest bit. It is difficult to get the amount right though because if you use too little you can look a bit streaky and if you use to much you can look a bit orange and shiny!
No7 Dual Protect moisturiser contains spf. 15 sun protection and it does work, I've used in such as Greece and Spain but never really anywhere hotter. When using the moisturiser it does protect your face from the sun but you do still get a hint of tan as long as you don't put on too much...like real suncream really. I'm visiting Jamaica later in the year though so will update my review accordingly!!! The packaging is nice too and it is very light so it is good for travelling, also Boots do smaller tester sizes, which are great for taking out with you!!
Overall this is a good product, in my opinion though it is better to use on holiday with a tan or if you have a slightly sun-kissed complexion anyway. If you are quite fait skinned I would keep away from the product as it is a little dark and can look mask-like and a little streaky.
If you've read any of my other reviews then you will know that I am fairly obsessed with natural products, so the fact that I have rated this product so highly speaks volumes - it contains all the nasties that I try to avoid: parabens, petrochemicals etc... and yet I still can't bring myself to stop using this product!! I love it, in spite of its ingredients.
To be honest, I originally only bought this product because I had a No 7 voucher to spend and was having a particularly dull skin day. It's probably one of my best whim purchases ever though. Originally it was the packaging that seduced me - the bottle is a kind of pearlescent glowing, shimmering golden skin colour and it totally plays upon the female desire for glowing, shimmering, gorgeous skin. And it works - their packaging designer created a gem here. Secondly, the fact that it is SPF 15 is labelled clearly on the front of the bottle which is something I always look for in facial products - nobody wants to age prematurely from sun damage!
***No 7 claims: ***
'Achieve natural, skin perfecting colour with this sheer, light diffusing tinted moisturiser. It delivers all day hydration and our patented multi antioxidant complex combined with SPF 15 defends your skin from the ageing effects of the sun and pollution.'
Sounds fab!... and it is!
I am very very pale and so I selected the 'fair' shade of this tinted moisturiser. I was particularly drawn to it as I have skin that is quite oily in places but very dry in others, and the problem that I find with foundations is that they tend to make dry skin look scaly and disgusting. Also, with oily skin I have quite large pores which I was hoping to conceal a little. This product has helped me out with both issues, it moisturises dry skin and adds a layer of smoothing colour without looking scaly or patchy, and the light diffusing qualities of this moisturiser seem to disguise large pores making skin look alot smoother and healthier.
Overall I am thrilled with this product. It blends in perfectly with my skin tone - I think I would even be comfortable applying this in a dark taxi if I was running late for something as I don't think it's actually possible to apply it badly or obviously. Also, given that it is quite light, I don't feel that it clogs my skin the way that foundation does, so I feel quite happy wearing it all day and have had no ugly break-outs! It gives a smooth, glowing complexion and I think it would be suitable for people of any age - I tested it out on my mother recently and it really lifted her complexion and made her look years younger.
The only issue with this product is that it is very light - If you have very bad skin you will need to use something else with this as well. However, even then I feel that combined with green or natural concealer this product would be far better than applying a thick foundation, as it just gives a far more natural finish. I do have areas of redness on my face which i just dab a little green concealer onto before applying this tinted moisturiser and it works a treat! If you want healthy, glowing skin - this is the product for you!
£10.50 in Boots store or online - look out for the No. 7 vouchers that Boots give away quite regularly and then you might find that you can get this product for just £5.50, what a bargain!
A long review, but worth it .... I recently have a new found love for everything Boots No7 related in particular their Mousse foundation, however it was once again due to my random nightly Boots.com web searches that I came across this beauty. I came to buy this product because it had a lot of good reviews on Boots and as I love how well the other products worked I had high hopes for this one. It's great using this as its no were near as thick as foundation on the skin and looks a lot more natural. I use a powder over the top of this just to prevent my becoming shiny thoroughout the rest of the day.
*** My skin
I just want to give you a brief knowledge of my skin so that you understand what this product is being used on. I suffered with acne since I was 11 and now I'm 19 my skin although not spotty does have blackheads and large pores in places, so you can appreicate I like to cover these up best I can, just for my own personal self consiousness.
*** The brand
No 7 is Boots own in house brand, you can't purchase no-were else other than Boots, excpet the likes of ebay. It has a very elegant packaging and always displays its brand name in gold lettering. At first I always thought No 7 was nothing to be fair; I always thought that nothing was as good as your popular brands such as Garnier, Max-Factor, Rimmel ect and that No 7 was just an own branded product. Oh how I was wrong, No 7 is now the only brand for me!
*** The Product
This is a tinted moisturiser, which also is protective towards you skin as it contains SPF 15. It's Hypo-allergenic like all No 7 Products, although I still don't know what this means exactly; Google definition "This term is applied to a product in which care has been taken in ingredient selection and formulation to ensure minimum incidence of allergic."
*** The Claims
"Long lasting hydration environmental protection and a beautiful sheer colour. Achieve natural skin perfecting colour with this sheer, light diffusing tinted moisturiser. It delivers all day hydration and our patented mulit antioxidant complex combined with SPF 15 defends your skin from ageing effects of the sun and pollution.
Because the product is a tinted moisturiser it's very light and soft and it does feel as though it just melts into the skin in a very sheer way. This product is a tinted moisturiser and so it's base purpose is to act as a moisturiser, however I don't necessarily use it in this manner. I treat this product as a foundation, as it's just that good. I was expecting this tinted moisturiser to have a slight color to it and just to give me a very faint 'glow' yet what I got was very different in a good way.
*** How I use it
I squeeze a little product out of the tube and it's a nice thick consistancey and the color actually looks like the color of any proper foundation out of a bottle. I only use about a chick pea or bean sized amount, proberly less to be honest, I then reapply a little extra were I need more coverage on my nose for example. I then dot blobs around my face and then blend/rub it all in; as expalined above the product is so sheer the blendability factor is amazing. I notice such a fresh glow immediately, even on every appication it's such a pleasent surprise to see my face light up compaired to the usual morning dull and tired look. When the product is blended in all over like I exaplined I may just add a little more to areas were I feel my blackheads are more promonent and I want them to be disguised more.
*** The finished look
The look you get is amazing I feel, you really do get that dewy, fresh faced look, and as it's a moisturiser also its very cooling when it first hits the skin. Given my current skin situation I was really pleased on the coverage this product given.
I was suspisious that this product was just going to be like a moisturiser and provide no coverage at all. For coverage capable of covering my pores I would always have to use a foundation as useual but this product really did surprise me. If you have a clear complextion already then this product will be amzing for you, as even for me I love it! There is no perfume smell to the product, however im sure as soon as they start adding fragrences the product beause less 'hypo-allergenic' then.
This product is currently priced at £10.50 however I bought this with some £5 off vouchers which reduced the cost to £5.50 which became more appealable to purchase at. There are always offer for Boots products though as it's their own brand such as free gift sets, bonus points and 3 for 2.
The tube contains 50ml, you can't see how much is left of the product in daylight, however now the room is a little darker and with the help of a lamp I can clearly see the product inside. From this I think it will last me approx 3 months.
This prodcut comes in 2 shades, which considering it's a tinted moisturiser is really good, as most similar products tend to just have one standard color to them. I purchased this product in medium (which is the stronger colour out of the 2). This colour is great and like I have said the color of the product on your hand could easily be mistake for any other good foundation, yet as soon as it blends in its were No7 comes into a world of its own, and its still only a base moisturiser with a hint of color, we can't forget that.
*** Will I repurchase this product?
Absolutely, I am planning on starting to go swimming soon so I am planning on buying another tube of this just to keep in my swim bag, as it would be so quick and easy to apply after swimming that would still give me the confidence. A friend of mine at work even asked if i had been abroad or on sunbeds as in her words "I looked a lovely color" so this product was reccomended to her and now to you all :)
Hope this helps :)
I love the No7 makeup range. Not only is there a wide selection of products and colours to choose from, the prices are reasonable and you can pick up some bargains when they have offers on.
I decided to buy the No7 Tinted Moisturiser as normal foundation was to heavy for my skin and made me look like an oompa loompa with a flaky forehead so i thought this would be an ideal solution.
What is it?
No7 Dual Protection Tinted Moisturiser is a tinted moisturiser which contains spf15. It is designed to even out skin tones and moisturise the skin at the same time.
How do i apply it?
Use finger tips to freshly cleaned skin and apply evenly over the face avoiding eyes
Where can i buy this?
No7 is only available at Boots and 30ml tube will cost £10.50. It comes in two shades fair and medium to suit your skin tone.
Would i recommend this product?
I would recommend this product for people with normal skin. I myself have dry skin on my face and feel that it didnt help the dryness despite claiming to be a moisturiser.
