No7 Essential Moisture Day Cream
No7 is a recognised makeup and skincare brand by Boots. It offers affordable beauty products for all ages and skin types. One of these products is Essential Moisture Day Cream which is part of the Essential Moisture range. No7 state this is suitable for normal - dry skin and *nourish your skin daily with this gently caring facial moisturiser. No7 Essential Moisture Day Cream is light and easily absorbed leaving skin soft, supple and smooth*. This day cream contains elderflower for its soothing properties and Vitamins E and F. Like all No7 products, it is hypo-allergenic, fragrance free and dermatologically tested.
Essential Moisture Day Cream comes in a fairly basic pearlescent pink/white plastic tub which has a double wall for freshness. The lid is a twist off lid and bares the No7 logo on the top. The front has the logo and the name of the cream. The back has skin type and directions for use. The base of the tub has company details on a little label which peels open to reveal the ingredients. The pot is recyclable and safe for use 24months after opening.
Once the tub is open, there is a foil lid to be removed. The cream itself is a delicate pink colour, lightly scented though cannot quite detect what of and is fairly thick in consistency.
No7 recommend applying after cleansing and toning. Moisturise into face and neck.

*Availability and Price*
No7 is only available in Boots stores which are nationwide throughout the UK. The cream comes in a 50ml pot at a cost of £8.50 which is exceptionally reasonable. There is also a complimenting night cream which is £9.50. Look out for the £5 off No7 vouchers and any Gift with Purchase offers they are running. In Boots stores, you can ask staff to advise on products for your skincare needs and also use the testers on displays.
I have terribly dry skin on face and more so on my forehead, I also have fairly sensitive skin so have to be careful what I use otherwise I may turn into a beetroot! My choice of cosmetics brand is No7 as I feel they offer a wide selection of colours, styles and prices to suit my budget and I love it when they have the £5 off vouchers! I am quite friendly with the staff at the No7 counter in my local Boots so when I went in for a new face powder a few weeks ago, the lady commented on how dry my skin was looking..I admitted that I was finding it difficult to find a suitable moisturiser in my budget and this was when Essential Moisture was recommended to me.
At £8.50 this day cream won't break the bank. At the time of purchase, they had a gift bag full of goodies for free when you spend £22 on No7 and you could use your £5 off voucher as well. So I bought this and the mineral face powder and the cost was £22.50. I got my £5 off bringing the total to £17.50 and with my free goody bag, another £5 voucher and advantage card points..it was a bargain!
So onto the cream..the tub is very basic though I have not fussed about it aslong as the cream does what it is supposed to! I love the light pink shade of the cream and the fairly thick consistency is just right. Only a small amount is needed for full facial coverage. I personally do not have a cleansing and toning routine though I do wash my face and wipe it down with a facial wipe before applying anything. The cream goes on brilliantly and I use my finger tips to massage it into my face and neck paying particular attention to my dry areas.
Luckily my skin did not break out as with alot of face creams and the day cream left my skin smooth and free from dryness all day. I feel that the moisture lost from my face being so dry has been restored and I now use this in the morning. I have also invested in the night cream from the same range to protect and moisturise my face during the night.
I would recommend this day cream as a regular moisturiser for those on a budget as it is not expensive and a little goes along way so making the 50ml tub excellent value for money.
Summary: DOES MY SKIN GOOD
