Some time ago, I made an impulsive purchase in Boots of the No 7 Heavenly Hydration Mask. Priced at the time at £13, it was considerably more expensive than any other skincare product I tended to, so it really was an extravagance for me. I was attracted by the pretty packaging, the name and its promises to give me beautifully soft skin.
The Heavenly Hydration Mask comes in a blue No 7 box, but it is the contents which are so beguiling. The mask is packaged in a plastic pump bottle, the plastic being thick and clearly good quality. The bottle is clear, and through it you can see an almost edible looking swirl of moisturiser, whipped in a spiral around the bottle, a mix of pale pink and cream. I was completely sucked in when I looked inside the box in the shop - a product this pretty couldn't fail to give results.
There are two ways to use the Heavenly Hydration Mask. You can apply a thick layer of it, leave it on for a while and then wipe off. Alternatively, you can apply a very thin layer, massage it into your face and then leave it overnight to work while you sleep.
I have tried the first method a few times, but I find it inconvenient. I don't like to sit around with a mask on my face for 15-20 minutes; as I wear glasses full time and am badly short sighted, I can't read or watch tv while the mask does its work. So I tend to use the second method, applying like a regular moisturiser before bed. This requires such a small amount of the mask that the bottle has lasted for close to two years, and there is still half left, with me using it no more than twice a week.
Neither method of application has proved to be more effective than the other. I enjoy using the mask, it smells nice although I couldn't describe the scent, and I like how my skin feels once it is on - already soft with the promise of more softness to come. However, I can't honestly say that the mask makes a significant difference to my skin condition. My skin does feel softer and moisturised in the morning after I have used the mask, but it lasts no longer than a day when I haven't used the mask. By the end of the day I may still have some dry, tired skin. I can say that it has had no negative effect on my skin, which is always a good point.
While I do enjoy the experience of using the mask, for £13 I expect more noticeable results. When this bottle eventually runs out or it deteriorates into an unusable condition, I won't be replacing it.
I usually save the Boots advantage card points I accumulate over the year for the post Christmas sales but this year I noticed the No 7 hat box on offer at half price as offer of the week and so I treated myself to that instead. In the set were various skin care treats and one of the items was the heavenly hydration moisture mask.
The product comes in a clear recyclable plastic bottle which features a pump in which the cream comes out. The packaging is really simple and just features gold lettering which looks nice against the clear background. Through the clear background of the bottle you can see the moisture mask which looks quite like whipped cream as it is layered up in the bottle! The packaging tells us that the moisture mask is "an intensely quenching treat for softer, smoother skin" and also that the product contains vitamins C and E.
The mask is designed to be a bit of a luxurious treat when your skin needs a moisturising treat and so I was looking forward to giving it a try because I am not the best at following a skin care regime as much as I do try to remember. There are two ways in which you can use this product and you can either put it on your face or leave it for three minutes or so before wiping it off with a tissue or for a more intensive treat you can apply a thin layer before bed at night. I prefer to apply the product at night time so that it can work whilst I am resting in bed as I always seem to be too busy to sit still for very long.
To use the product you should make sure that your face is cleansed before pressing the pump to release some of the cream. The cream does come out quite quickly so I would advise taking care with this part. The actual cream is a peachy colour and does feel quite thick initially but it massages well in to the skin and doesn't make the skin feel wet or greasy which is obviously beneficial as I apply it before bed. You don't need much of the cream each time you apply it as a little does go a long way and I would liken it to perhaps the amount of day or night cream you would use on your skin.
When I wake up in the morning after using this cream my skin feels soft and refreshed and I do not feel the need to apply a day cream in the mornings following when I have used this cream. I also find that this hypo allergenic cream has no negative effects on my skin which can sometimes be quite sensitive and react badly to creams, especially around the eye area. I like how easy it is to use this product because it is literally a case of applying it to my face and then going to bed....it is the ultimate lazy girl's option for soft and treated skin.
Obviously as this is a No 7 product it is available to purchase from boots where a 100ml bottle will cost you £14.00. Whilst it is quite expensive I do think that it is important to note that the moisture mask can be used for 24 months after opening and so you will get plenty of use out of it even if you were to only use it once a week. Another point to note is boots often have vouchers for £5.00 off No 7 products which makes it a more reasonable price as well.
I personally really like this product as it is simple to use and leaves my skin feeling nice in the morning even though I have used minimal effort.
Thank you for reading my review!
I purchased this product a few weeks ago after noticing that my skin was a little dry after the cold winter weather. My main motivation for choosing this item, was the Boots No7 voucher in my purse, reducing the price! The attractive packaging also helped. Having used the product I am amazed at how good it is. At £14.00 its not cheap, but it certainly is heavenly and that's worth paying a little extra.
This is a really attractive product and its a real shame there is no image as it really is a pretty product. It looks classy and elegant and isn't a product that needs hidden a way in a drawer. It can be left out for all to see. It comes in a clear cylinder with gold No7 Lettering and the top is a white pump with a clear lid. The product inside is a peach white cream with pieces of peach gel swirled through creating an interesting but not overpowering effect.
It is a 100ml size bottle that looks quite sizeable, sometimes packaging can look 'small' but this feel like your getting as substantial amount for your money. After using it, you only need a small amount, so I think it will last for quite a while too.
The Product -
This product is a mask, intended to moisturise and replenish the skin. It is not intended for everyday use and is recommended for use 2-3 times a week. It contains vitamins A, C and E and claims to smooth, revitalise and soften the skin. It smells lovely, not at all overpowering but I cannot place what it smells like. the packaging says it contains apple extract but this is not what it smells like. The cream is thick, but not heavy.
This product is a pleasure to use and really easy. The directions say to smooth the product over the face after cleansing and massage it into dry areas. It is recommended that you leave it on for three minutes, or ten if you want a more intense effect. I frequently leave it on for much longer as its quite relaxing. The directions recommend that you tissue the musk off before rinsing your face. I do not use tissue, preferring to just rinse it off with my hands. I love using this as it feel really luxurious and my skin certainly appreciates it.
This mask does exactly what it claims to do, my skin feel so hydrated after using it and its lovely and smooth. it also feel quite toned, which is an added bonus. Two days after using i can still feel the difference in my skin. Because this is a thicker mask, I don't think its suitable as a general moisturiser, but as a treat for your skin it is really very good. Far better than some of the more expensive ones that I have tried. i think it can be used differently from the directions if you wish, it seems quite versatile. I used it recently as a full face mask and left it on for a half hour with some cucumber on my eyes! It was lovely.
This is £14.00 for 100ml and it is honestly worth every penny. I have used many high end brands across the years, and this certainly holds its own. If you have a No.7 voucher it will cost only £9.00 which is a bargain for such a quality product. This product is available from Boots stores or online.
No negatives of this product - what a result!
This Moisture Mask was included in a No7 gift set that I was given at Christmas. It is my favourite product from that set, and probably the only one that I would now go out and buy.
***About the product****
Being a No7 product, this is only available from Boots. It currently costs £14.00, but Boots regularly have offers (buy two get one free/free £5 vouchers etc) so you rarely need to pay full price. Boots describe it as 'an intensively quenching treat for softer, smoother skin'. They recommend it be applied to the face after cleansing, left on for at least 3 minutes (or overnight if you wish), then removed with tissues and rinsed away. If you have extra dry skin, you may wish to follow it with a moisturiser.
It's pretty! It comes in a transparent plastic tube, about five inches high, with a matching push-on lid. The product is visible through the tube, and looks very appealing; a pale pink, swirly, whipped mousse - like a Mr Softee ice cream! Dooyoo don't have a picture, but you can see it at www.boots.com. It has a pearly white, push-down dispenser to release the product, and sleek gold writing on the front of the tube. It looks classy and expensive.
I used the product exactly as recommended. The pump dispenser is easy and effective, and I was surprised that the product is actually a creamy consistency - from its appearance I was expecting a mousse. It feels rich but quite light, and applies easily to the skin without dragging or pulling. It is cooling and comfortable, and has a light, pleasant, clean perfume. Being a mask, much of the product sits on top of the skin rather than being fully absorbed in, but it doesn't set hard like some masks and retains its creaminess until removed. Removal was easy with a tissue and a quick rinse, and it left no residue. After removal, my face looked pleasantly plumped up and felt hydrated. I have dry skin, which is prone to feeling 'tight', but it felt nicely moisturised after using this. I applied my usual day cream an hour or so after using this product, and I noticed that I needed to use less than usual.
I like it. The appearance and texture of the product give a luxurious, pampering feeling, and it was easy and pleasurable to use. My skin felt cared for and nourished. Whilst I don't particularly have sensitive skin, this felt gentle. I have used lots of masks over the years, but this one is now my favourite! At £14 it is quite expensive, but the tube will probably give me about 15 treatments, and I don't skimp on it! Used once per month it will last me a year, which is pretty good value. And it looks good on my dressing table. Recommended!
No 7 heavenly hydration moisture mask is a great treatment for those suffering with dry skin or just wanting to give the skin an extra boost.
This mask is £14.00 to buy, however no7 is often on 3 for 2 and it is worth waiting until the £5 off no7 vouchers are out - this really brings the cost down and is worth it!
This mask comes in a pump dispense tube and is a thick cream, it feels like a thick moisturiser on your face. If there are areas which are extra dry on your face then I find the mask can absorb into these areas, it helps you know which areas need extra moisturiser. The texture is something which I really love and enjoying using.
There is a slight smell to this mask, it is quite a clean and fesh smell so nothing too overpowering. If you leave this mask on it is nice to sit and relax and for me personally the smell is lovely and makes this enjoyable to do.
There are a number of ways you can use this mask
- Apply a thick layer onto your clean dry face and leave for 5-10 minutes then wipe away with tissue and rinse you face with water. or you can leave for 20-30 minutes for a more intensive treatment
- Apply on a night to clean dry face and leave on over night, you will wake up with a moisturised face and really be able to feel the difference.
Both methods are great but i usually apply for abour 30 minutes then rinse off. As the mask is on you can feel it soaking in to the areas which need extra moisturiser. Once wiped away your face is left soft and looking radiant.
I love this product especailly during the winer and use this about once a week or when i feel like need extra treatment.
I would recomment this product and would not be without it myself
Thanks for reading
I had my first experience of using this product last night. My skin is fairly dry at the minute due to the weather and I thought that a moisturising facemask might help.
The mask comes in a rigid plastic, see-through container. You can see the product and the container has been filled with the product in such a way that it looks like whipped-cream with white and pink fluffy layers. It reminds me of a flump! Very appealing and had I of seen it in the shop then I would almost certainly have wanted to buy it for the 'oooh, ahhh' factor alone! In typical No7 fashion the packaging has clear, bold print that looks modern and is easy to read. The blurb on the back promises to 'brighten and freshen' your skin - no real mention of moisturisation which I though was odd considering the name of the product.
The top section of the container is a pump dispenser and to obtain a small dollop of facemask you simply depress the top. Unlike the appearance of the mask in the tube, the dispensed product appears to be relatively uniform in consistency. This reassures me I'm receiving all of the added beneficial ingredients and not just a bit of the pink layer or a bit of the white layer.
The mask applies easily to the skin and seems to be water based as it doesn't feel oily or greasy on my skin. The instructions advise to massage in the product and relax for 3 to 10 minutes. I did as instructed; a little product went quite a long way which I was impressed with. I do like to have a good old layer of facemask on though so I used 4 pumps in total - 2-3 would have sufficed though. I left the mask on for 10 minutes and when I returned to the mirror the majority had been absorbed by my skin , it made me feel like it had been soaked up by the dry patches which I liked. The remainder I tissued off as instructed and then rinsed my face. On rinsing I did notice my skin felt like it had a slightly oily layer to it. Nothing offensive, just something I noticed.
Immediately following the treatment my skin didn't appear dry anymore. I applied the mask in the evening and the positive results were more apparent this morning. My skin looked visibly plumper and better hydrated. Definitely a mask I'll try again and a huge five stars from me!
A you have probably noticed by my last few reveiws i have been working my way through my No7 skin care collection (which is pretty big) as i often recieve ALOT of these gift sets at christmas and on my birthday to stock up for the year lol. The latest product i am going to reveiw is this 'Heavenly Hydration Moisture Mask'
The mask comes in a large plastic cylindrical bottle, the bottle is clear and you can see the pale pink mask inside as well as its creamy looking texture which i think looks really different and great and the appearance mad me really eager to want to try it! The bottle has a large pump at the top which you press down to the maks out. The packaging is similar to the rest of the No7 packaging as its a creamy white clolur, fairly plain with the No7 logo, this makes it looks expensive especially next to the rest of my No7 products.
~What It Claims To Do~
The face mask contains vitamins A, C and E which along with the apple extract is suppose to 'soften, smoothe, lift and brighten' the skin. The face mask is hypo-allergenic and fragrance free and will leave your skin looking and feeling revitalised.
~What I Thought~
The bottle tells you to Simply pump generous amounts of the mask onto your hand and gently rub onto your face in a circular motion and when the skin is all covered then just lie back and relax. This is what i did and it truly was 'heavenly'!! The mask is a creamy, gel like substance which smoothes onto your skin really easily and your skin instantly feels very well moisturised and smooth. I usually leave it on for about 10 minutes before washing off with warm water. my skin definitley looks a lot fresher after and i feel i lot more relaxed and my skin is smoother.
I would reccomend this this face mask as it definitley does what it says it will. However, i do think £13.50 is too expensive as whilst it is good it's not that good but i will probably ask for it agin this christmas though, i just wont pay for it myself lol.
I discovered this product when my boss kindly gave me a No.7 gift set for Christmas. Along with other No.7 products, it contained a full sized bottle of the Heavenly Hydration Moisture Mask. I had never used any No.7 Skin care products before so i was really surprised at how good this product is; it instantly became one of my favorites.
*About the Product*
It is a shame that this site does not have a picture of the product because i think i would give it 5/5 for presentation. It comes in a 100ml see through bottle and has a pearl coloured pump that the product comes out of. You can see the product through the bottle, it looks like swirled up whipped cream, i think this is what drew me to the product; it looks very luxurious.
This product is a mask that is intended to moisturise and replenish the skin. It contains vitamin C and E and promises to soften and smooth the skin.
*Using the product*
This product is really easy to use. To use it as a mask i just apply it all over my face after cleansing. The bottle says you should leave it for 3 minutes or 10 for a more intensive effect. I often find my self leaving it on much longer than this because it makes my skin feel really soothed. Sometimes i even leave it on over night as the bottle even says you can apply a thin layer at night to wake up with refreshed skin in the morning; i really like this as my skin does look alot more replenished and toned after doing this.
This mask is not like one of those masks that dries and sits on the surface of the skin, it is more like a really rich moisuriser so it absorbs into the skin and can be come invisible if you apply a light layer. Sometimes if my skin has got really dry (sometimes i use acne treatments that make my skin really dry, otherwise i have combination to oily skin) i put this on before my make up to smooth my skin out so it doesn't look all flaky.
What i really like about this product is that it can be used in many different ways. As a rich mask, or as a conditioning treatment over night. I often find myself using this product in place of a regular moisturiser because i like it so much. The main reason for this is that it is one of the only moisturising products i have found that does not cause me to get break outs. I can use it however much i like and it won't make my skin oily or encourage any blemishes.
This is honestly one of the products that i have been the most unconditionally pleased with. It hydrates the skin really well, and this effect lasts a long time. When i use the mask, the benefits usually last for a few days afterwards. I also find that it leaves the skin looking more toned and generally alot brighter and healthier. It doesn't make the skin oily it just seems to replenish the skin. If i get any dry and flaky patches i apply this and then they calm down very quickly.
I have given this product 5/5 because it feels like a treat to use, it replenishes and softens the skin effectively and does not cause me any blemishes. It lasts a really long time too, i have had it about 6 months and have still got loads left.
The product doesn't have many bad points, it fulfills its purpose and promise of revitalising and smoothing the skin. I guess the smell could be better, it smells sort of like the Garnier sun cream i use. Also, the swirly whipped cream presentation effect gradually doesn't look as good when you keep pumping more and more product out. But i guess these points don't really matter.
You can buy this product for £13.50 in Boots, i think this is very reasonable as i think it is a good quality product and lasts quite a long time. I will definitely repurchase.
I rarely drink enough water and drink too much coffee and as a result my skin often feels dry and is occasionally quite flaky. When I became a student again I knew that I would have to give up having facials and the one thing that I knew I would miss most was the feeling of having soft, hydrated skin. No matter how much moisturiser I use I can't seem to get my skin to feel like it does when I leave the beauty salon. When I started using Tea Tree Face Wash my skin became more prone to dryness than it had been before.
I didn't go into boots planning on buying anything for my dry skin. If I remember correctly I needed more foundation which I don't even buy from No. 7. But as I walked by the No. 7 counter I noticed that they had a free gift that I didn't yet have. I have no idea why I love the free gifts so much, most of the time I keep one or two items from it and give the rest to my little sister to play with. I browsed the products and decided to try the moisture mask. It just seemed to be exactly what I was looking for without even realising that I was looking.
No. 7 Heavenly Hydration Moisture Mask promises to soften, soothe, lift and brighten skin and leave it feeling revitalised. It can be used as a mask, as the name suggests. You just spread it generously over your skin, leave for ten minutes and then wash off. Alternatively you can apply a thin layer before going to bed and leave it on over night with no need to wash it off.
It costs £13.50 for a 100ml bottle and is available from boots.
When I first purchased this product I used it as a mask. I'm not one of these women that enjoys using face masks, I use them because I like the way my skin feels afterwards but I absolutely hate the feeling of having anything heavy, like a mask, on my skin. I really did not enjoy using this mask but that's not something to hold against this product because I don't enjoy using any face masks. This one has a slightly sticky feel but the smell is pleasant enough and not at all over powering. I didn't think that it was particularly effective as a mask. My skin did feel a bit softer afterwards, it looked a little more radiant but it wasn't anything special and by the next morning it didn't feel like I had used anything on it other than my usual moisturiser. After using it a couple of times I did feel that it was more beneficial and left my skin feeling more hydrated each time but it still wasn't particularly long lasting.
I decided to try using a thin layer over night, as the instructions suggested. Having a mask on for ten minutes is bad enough for me, having it on over night (even if it is a much thinner layer) is even less pleasant but this product works so well that I put my discomfort aside and use it twice a week. From the very first time I used this product over night I could feel a big difference in my skin. Even after leaving the beauty salon I've never had skin as soft as when I wake up after leaving this on over night. The softness lasts for days (of course using moisturiser in between) and my skin just feels so smooth. I've found that since using this product regularly over night my foundation looks much better with a smoother finish than it had before and I don't get flaky skin any more.
==Value for Money==
When I opened the product the first thing I noticed was that the gel is whipped and as a result it doesn't exactly fill the bottle. I know that this sounds really picky but when you don't have much money paying £13.50 for a product is a lot and I wanted it to last. My concern was that because the product didn't really fill the bottle it wouldn't last for very long. Fortunately this wasn't the case at all. I have had this for months now, I use it a couple of times a week and there is still some left. I imagine that had I been using it as a mask it wouldn't have lasted as long but I still think that this is pretty good value for money. This is a product that really works and I don't mind paying £13.50 every four or five months for it.
I would 100% recommend this. Although I found that this didn't work so well as a ten minute mask I'm still giving it five stars for using it over night because I've never used a product that has such an immediate impact on my skin and leaves my skin feeling so soft and touchable.
My skin can often get quite dry, and after applying moisturiser a few hours later it feels really dry again, so I was looking in boots for something that would be a really good moisturiser for my face, and the lady working in boots pointed this face mask to me. I wasn't actually looking for a face mask, I thought I would need a moisturiser, but she recommended it to me after using it herself so I thought I would give it a go.
This No.7 heavenly hydration moisture mask is definitely worth the money I paid for it. It cost £13.50, but I had a £5 off voucher, so only cost me £8.50 for a 100ml bottle. I used it that night whilst in the bath, I used my usual face wash and then I applied this moisture mask to my face. It isn't like a cream, the product is really light and soft, like a mousse. It says to leave on for about 5 minutes, I have no idea how long I left mine on, I didn't time it while I was in the bath but I would say it was probably about 10 minutes, and when I rinsed it off my skin felt so soft and smooth!
The next day was when I really noticed the difference in my skin, it was not dry at all, and it looked so refreshed. It left my skin glowing and it was still really soft.
I am so pleased with this product I only use it once a week now and never suffer with dry skin any more. This bottle will probably last me all year as you only need to use a tiny amount.
I have sensitive skin too and it didn't irritate me at all. It is fragrance free and hypo-allergenic. This cream contains vitamins a, c and plus an apple extract to make it an intense moisturiser. I was amazed by how moisturising this was especially as you don't rub it into your skin, you wash it off!
I highly recommend this product if you have dry skin, it feels so light when you put it on, not heavy or greasy. You will notice the difference in your skin straight away!
Ive been meaning to write about this product for absolutely ages now but if Im honest I had totally forgotten the name of the product until I read a review about a week ago and I realised it was about this face mask. As soon as I read the review I was dead chuffed because I had been wanting to buy another bottle of this for ages so the next day I went out and treated myself to one and I thought Id review it today. Now I know Im always writing reviews on face masks but no face mask I have ever used comes close to how great this one is and I cannot recommend it highly enough. I first tried this about a year ago when my mom got it in a No7 set and urged me try test it out and Im so glad she did because I think this is quite possibly the best product from the whole No7 range - and everyone knows how much I love that range.
I wish Dooyoo had a picture of this so everyone can see exactly what it looks like because it does look very appealing. This product comes in a clear plastic 100ml bottle with a big pump at the top. As the bottle is transparent you can clearly see the product inside which reminds me of shaving foam and it is white and light pink in colour. You can tell just by looking at it that this mask is proper creamy and it looks really luxurious and you know that if the rest of the No7 range is anything to go by that this is going to be a great product. It does not disappoint let me tell you!
For best results from this mask you are supposed to cleanse and tone (with the No7 cleanser and toner) beforehand but sometimes I just use it without doing that and I think the resukts are just as good so dont rush out and buy everything from this range because I dont think you need to. Then you just get a small amount of this really thick cream onto your fingers and apply it all over your face and relax for how ever long you want. You are meant to leave this on for about 3-10 minutes but I often sit there for about half hour with this on because I get so relaxed! Now this mask doesnt set on your face so watch you clothes and hair because it gets everywhere!
On the back of the bottle it says to remove this with tissue or cotton wool but because the mask is so thick I dont feel like it removes it properly so I tend to wash it off with warm water and then pat your face dry with a towel. You can moisturise afterwards if you want to give your skin a real treat but again you dont HAVE to because I find that my skin looks and feels pretty great already. My face really does look and feel amazing after I have used this mask and it is super soft and really glowing. A lot of face masks leave my face red after I have used them but I think this one leaves your skin glowing and really healthy. I could rave about this product all day but a long story short is that this works wonders on your skin and it gives you a really relaxing, intensive treatment. I would say you only need to use this about once a week because the results last so long and it doesnt need to be used more than that no matter what your skin type is. This is the ultimate product for a bad skin day or a relaxing night in and I cannot recommend it highly enough.
Now at £13.50 a bottle this isnt the cheapest face mask out there but I rekcon it is the best and you are definately paying for quality in this case. I think at the moment Boots are doing £5 No7 vouchers so its worth havign a look out for those, Ive got two in my purse at the moment and this is one of the products Ill be buying! I need to stock up again!
Thanks For Reading

The Boot No7 range is something that I buy when Boots offer the £5 off vouchers whihc make it all good value and more affordable.
This mask is reasonably priced and the voucher brings it down to £9 from £14. The product is a delicate pink color and is layered with a gel and a cream, which are both dispensed together in a handy pump at the top of the bottle.
There are actually two ways to use this product. The first is as a mask a couple of times a week, rinsing it off afterwards which is best for skin that is balanced, as a bit of an extra moisturizing boost. The second way you can use this product is simply as a moisturizer by applying a small amount to your face. Using it as a moisturizer proved to be to heavy for my skin, which tends to be oily so be careful if this applies to you too! After using this product, the skin feels refreshed, hydrated and looks healthier and brighter.
Apart from the benefit to the skin, a mask is also a nice indulgence and feels like a little treat, and this mask fits the bill. Definitely worth the investment!
I wanted to write about this a while back, but to honest I forgot until recently I started using this again as I received a bottle of this in a No7 gift set. I really wish there was a picture of this on Dooyoo as this is something to see as it looks like no other masks you can buy. If you imagine what it must look like if you could make a can of shaving foam transparent then I can only imagine that this is what it would look like.
Well it comes in a clear see through plastic bottle which shows layers and layers of a thick light whipped pink gel-cream, it has a clear plastic lid which when you pull off you will find a large pump head. The bottle is 100ml so you can get quite a few masks out of this one bottle.
Now to start the way that I do it is to get into bed, headband on pulling all my hair away from my face, a quick wipe over my face with a face wipe to remove the surface make-up, some eye-makeup remover on my lashes as I wear waterproof mascara. Next I use some No7 cleansing lotion, then I put some No7 toner on, now I'm ready to put the mask on which I can't wait to do as I always get the same results lovely soft skin!.
Pump some of the mask onto your fingertips and softly smooth onto your face, doing it extra lightly around the eye area until all of your face is covered it sits on your skin like a thick face cream. It doesn't set or go tight on your face in fact when I do this I have to remember that I have put it on as it seeps into your skin and you could easily forget that you have this on.
You are supposed to leave for 3-10 minutes before washing of with some water or wiping of with a tissue. I tried the tissue but found that I didn't feel like it wiped it all off so I use water now for better results. I usually rate a few Dooyoo reviews while I'm waiting and after 10 minutes or sometimes 30 I then rinse whats left on my face of with some cool water. I then pat my face dry and when you look in the mirror you will see a very healthy glowing face (glowing as in healthy not bright red!).Your face will feel really soft!.
Next I put my night moisturiser as an extra treat to my skin and in the morning my face still feels baby soft and I'm not joking it really is soft ( not bad for someone in the mid fifties!). I do this around 2-3 times a week.
So whats in this marvellous mask well it contains Vitamins A C and E and an invigorating apple extract, it really revitalises your face and also claims to lift and brighten which I do believe that it does.
It is Hypo-allergenic and Fragrance free, I think the trick with this mask is that it puts back a lot of the moisture in the face that gets lost through the day especially with all the central heating that is needed at the moment to keep warm in this cold spell.
Now for the price anything thats any good doesn't come cheap so this is a bit on the pricey side at £13.50, but if you wait until they start giving out the £5.00 vouchers then it is worth getting one of this then, but I must say that I would pay out for this as it is very good and a bottle would last quite a long time!.
So if you can afford it then I would definitely recommend it so go and treat yourself and cheer yourself up in these horrible cold wet days!
Put the moisture back into your skin!!!
I tend to have very dry skin so I like to treat it to a deep moisturisation every now and then. I'd tried several different products but nothing seemed to work. I was first introduced to the Boots No.7 Heavenly Hydration Moisture Mask a few years ago by a member of staff at my local Boots store. The product is a bit pricey at £13.50 for a 100ml bottle but it is well worth the money and is regulary included in 3 for 2 offers.
The mask has a soufle, light as air texture which is smooth, creamy and soothing on the skin. All you need to do is spread a thin layer over your skin after cleansing, leaving it on for around 3-5 minutes. Its non-greasy formula makes it easy to wipe off leaving your skin hydrated but not oily.
From the first use my skin was moisturised, supple, cleansed and refreshed. It really helped my dry skin problem and whenever I feel my skin becoming dry I know exactly what to use.
I couldn't live without this product and would highly recommend it to anyone.
I got this face mask as part of a No7 gift set which I treat myself to in the sales. It's certainly one of the most attractive looking No7 products, coming in a transparent tube which has a pump which you press down to get the lotion out. The lotion in the bottle reminds me of the cream you can buy which you spray out of a can, it has a little bit of a pinky colour to it.
Like all No7 products, the mask doesn't have a smell, I do find this a bit strange, mainly because I'm used to face masks having a smell, but as it doesn't seem to affect the masks performance I'm not that bothered really.
Applying the mask is simple and straightforward, just cleanse your face in whatever way you normally would and then apply a generous layer all over your face. You leave for 3 minutes which is less than many comparable products, so it's great if you want a super quick fix. To remove the product simply wipe away with cotton wool and then rinse with cool water. The instructions also state that if your skin is particularly dry then apply moisturiser afterwards, if your skin is dry then don't bother.
I always apply a moisturiser after removing the mask as my skin is very dry, however even before applying the moisturiser I can always feel that me skin is very soft and smooth without looking greasy at all. I always use this mask on an evening and I can always see and feel the difference the next morning: my skin looks brighter without being greasy and feels much, much softer and smoother than usual.
The mask is available exclusively in Boots and costs £13.50, this is fairly expensive so at the moment I'd recommend looking for a No7 gift set in the sale which contains this product or alternatively waiting for a £5 off Boots No7 voucher.
I'd certainly recommend trying this product though, it's a very light texture so, although it works well on my dry skin I can imagine that it's not too much for someone who has normal or combination type skin.
