I have always had problems with the skin around my eyes. When I was about 12 the skin right around my eye sockets turned a really dark reddish brown colour, with the skin appearing thin and papery. I was teased during highschool a lot because of this and called things like 'teabag eyes'. So as soon as I could I started using eye creams and concealers to try and help the problem. One of the eyecreams I currently have in my collection of 'miracle cream cures' is this Boots No.7 Protect and Perfect Eye Cream. I got this as part of a little set with a few other No.7 products. As a result my packaging is different to the Dooyoo picture featured above. My cream is ... Read the complete review

I bought this eye cream on a whim from boots when it was on special offer and have been using it daily for about a week. I don't have any particular wrinkles around my eyes but I liked the idea of "radiant, smoothed, soothed and revitalised skin" as claimed. I do suffer from dark, puffy bags around my eyes in the mornings though. Here are my thoughts: PACKAGING I think the packaging is great. I've heard that this cream was originally packaged in a screw capped pot, which just seems awkward and unhygienic to me so I'm glad they changed that! When I bought this cream it came in a little rectangular box and was in a syringe/toothpaste like squeezy ... Read the complete review

I've reviewed a couple of different eye creams in the past, and although I've given good reviews of these products, none have convinced me to stay loyal to the brand, and each time I run out I find myself shopping around to get whatever is on offer. My issue in the eye area is dark circles under my eyes. I don't have much in the way of wrinkles, which I think is because I have used eye creams from a young age, but the dark circles have been there since I was a kid, and other than covering them up I find it's very difficult to find a product which will reduce the appearance of them. This was one of my many purchases last month, which was justified by using my ... Read the complete review

I am a bit of a stock piler of cosmetics and toiletries - always picking them up whilst on offer or on sale and so consequently it came as a bit of a nasty surprise a couple of weeks back when I came to the end of my pot of eye cream and couldn't find a replacement pot in my stores. As the only place to buy goodies in my local town is Boots, I hot footed down there to see what I could find. As I had a £5 off voucher for No 7 this brand was an obvious choice and as I had heard so much about the famous Protect and Perfect range, I thought I would give this cream a try. I must admit that if I hadn't had the voucher, I wouldn't have bought this cream ... Read the complete review

Boots No 7 Protect & Perfect eye cream just hasn't worked for me, depsite all the good reviews. I have been using the little 15ml pot (£16.50) for quite some time and although the consistency of the cream is light and refreshing and it does sink in easily and quickly therefore acting as a good general eye moisturising cream, it has done nothing for my dark circles, which is rather disappointing. I can say though that it has lasted a long time, (I must have been using it for at least 5 months and it is still going strong), and it is very easy to apply, moisturising my eye area well, but no dark circle improvement, not even slightly!! I don't ... Read the complete review
