I have been using a serum underneath my moisturizer for years now and I really feel that it has made a difference to the look and feel of my skin. One of the first serums that I ever used was Protect and Perfect by No.7. I read loads of magazine articles praising it and I wanted to see if it was all that it was cracked up to be. After using it for a couple of months I thought my skin looked improved when it came to ageing and fine lines but the problem that I had with it was that I found it to be really drying on my skin so although it was making my skin look younger it was leaving me with dry patches and flaky skin so I stopped using it. Boot's have recently changed the formulation of Protect and Perfect so I decided to give it another go and it seems that for once a company changing the formulation has actually improved it instead of making it worse. The Protect and Perfect serum comes in two different types. There is the normal one for younger skin and the intense one for older skin. I am just using the normal one and I have to say that even just using it for a short amount of time I have been really impressed with it and it does seem to be much improved on the one that came before it. You just need a small amount of serum which you apply to your face and neck area after cleansing but before moisturizing. It feels lovely going on my skin and it leaves it with a lovely soft feeling and a dewy look. It contains Matrixyl which is a peptide and that is the ingredient that does all the anti ageing work. I don't know how it works all I know is that it really does work. After a few weeks of use my skin is looking fantastic. I have always taken care of my skin and I didn't actually expect to notice any visible results with this but even to my own eye my skin looks improved. Fine lines are less and my skin just has a lovely even look to it. Also unlike the old formulation this isn't drying my skin out either. It actually feels more moisturising than it did and I haven't had any dry patches or flaky skin this time whilst using it. I can't recommend this serum enough. If you are looking for something to help improve skins appearance where it is noticeable then this is the one to go for as I have been blown away with how good it is and what a difference it is has made to my skin in only a short amount of time. It isn't a cheap serum at 23.95 but for me this is a small price to pay for something that is so effective.
My mum is a collector of all things No 7, particularly gifts sets. Often she is more interested in the bag the products come in, so while she spends time with the packaging, I get stuck with the contents, and this is how No.7 Beauty Serum found its way into one of my facial beauty routines.
If I'm being honest, when I first used this I did not realise that it was an anti-ageing cream, and anti-ageing creams are something that I really don't need to use yet, if anything I need an ageing cream, as most people think I look about ten years old. In any case, I have been using this serum for a while due to the good effects, I only hope that ten years down the line it does not backfire because I started using this too early, and instead of looking ten years old I look ten hundred years old.
In the gift packs, the serum is contained in a small tube, with a screw on lid, and the tube has a pointy nozzle, possibly to help just to dot small amounts of the serum onto the skin. The serum itself is a whitish colour with a pearly shine. The smell is not strong, but when you can smell it has an odd fragrance that reminds me of plastic or glue, so not a great smell, but not strong either, you can only really smell it if you stick it right under your nose.
The serum itself is quite thin. I only use this in the facial routine I do when I am going out somewhere special, somewhere where I need to look my best. First I wash my face, then put on face mud mask, once mud mask is removed, I use facial toner. Now after the toner I would normally just use my Simple moisturiser, but on the special occasions, in place of the moisturiser, I use the beauty serum, the whole routine takes place just before I go to bed, so that my face is ready for the next day. I put a small amount of serum on each cheek and forehead, about three to five dots of the serum, and then massage it into my skin using my fingers. Now as I have sensitive skin, it is important here to note that it does sting a little bit when applied, but the sting only lasts about two to five seconds. I do not use this on my upper lip as that area is particularly sensitive and does go red when this is used on it, so I usually use my medicated cream just on my upper lip. Once the serum has been applied, I usually feel like my face is moisturised, and has a bit of a glow to it.
Upon awaking, my face feels soft, and there are remnants of a facial glow. After having a shower I use facial toner, and then the serum once more, before heading out to wherever special. The serum definitely adds a glow to my skin, and softness to my skin.
For some reason when I have tried doing this routine without using the serum, my face always looks as though something is missing, something is not quite right. So now I feel that my skin is almost addicted to the serum in a way, so far this hasn't been a terrible thing, as I don't do this routine that often, so it hasn't drained my bank account, and I seem to have plenty of little tubes left from all these gift sets. However the bigger version of the serum is around £23 in Boots. It is expensive, but at the moment I haven't suffered any adverse effects, so this is a serum that I would recommend.
This is a review of Boots No7 Protect and Perfect Intense Beauty Serum which I have been using on and off since last Christmas. I spotted an offer on the P&P set in Boots and had been dying to try it and with a few points off, vouchers and money the purchase was practically a bargain and included in the Christmas 3 for 2 offer. Yes, it was a gift to myself.
I am still in what I class my early thirties so don't have particularly wrinkly skin but I do have a few pigmentation dark areas since having a couple of pregnancies, it seems to have brought out all the imperfections in my skin. I have tried the beauty serum in a small free gift set previous so I knew it made my skin feel nice and soft and I do like using serums on my face as they don't feel as thick as some face creams.
My tube / packaging
The tube I got in my gift set was 30 ml and plastic with a gold screw top lid. You can get this in a nice glass jar with a pump top dispenser that looks far nicer on a vanity unit than my plastic tube but mine was in the bedside drawer so not on show and not a problem.
Inside the tube, the product is a light cream and clear colour with a gel consistency. It glides onto the skin fulfilling the serum premise and makes skin feel really soft and nurtured.
A 30ml glass bottle version of Boots No7 Protect and Perfect Intense Beauty Serum is currently on the website for £23 and is included in the 3 for 2 offer.
I am now at the end of my 30 ml tube and it has lasted really well as you only need a small amount per application. I haven't used this every time, there is no way a 30ml tube would last me a year! But I have used it often. The product sinks in quickly and makes a great base for make up, skipping the need to use a primer under any foundation. The only downside I have noticed really is on hot days, or days when I have found myself to have a perspiring face from rushing around too much, the serum has made me feel a bit itchy but this has subsided as soon as my face flush fades. I don't know why this happened to me but it did happen on a few occasions. Other than that I have loved using this serum and found it nice and light on my skin. For me it wasn't a test on deep lines and wrinkles as I don't have any but it did improve the quality and feel of my skin.
I won't be rushing out to replace my tube of Boots No7 Protect and Perfect Intense Beauty Serum but this is more to do with affordability as I do like the product and would be happy to use it again. For now I have plenty of other products to be working my way through, especially as I get a lot of moisturisers in the beauty box I subscribe to and I like trying new products but I am happy to recommend this product to others.
A while back I received a free gift from the No 7 range in Boots and one of the items in the package was a small sample tube of the Protect and Perfect Intense serum. I had never used it before so gave it a go. I really liked it and started using it every night but due to the size of the tube it didn't last long.
I have recently bought my own tube of the serum as I liked it that much. It costs £23 for 30ml which is quite expensive but you don't use as much of it as a normal night cream. Well, I don't anyway! They have recently changed the packaging for this range but mine came in a rectangular cardboard box which I noticed was very good quality, very thick and glossy.
The actual tube is made of plastic and when you unscrew the top there is a long pointy end to it in order to squeeze out small amounts of the serum. This works well as you do just get the amount you require and not loads coming out onto your finger.
The serum is a pale white shiny colour and feels quite wet although when you rub it in it disappears quite quickly and doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy at all. I just use it around areas I'm trying to reduce/prevent wrinkles from appearing and I actually use their separate night cream all over my face as a general night cream.
I do actually think it has made my skin look slightly better, whether it's psychological or not, my wrinkles have decreased. I don't have loads anyway but it has worked on the small ones I do have.
As I've not yet used a whole tube I'm unable to say how long it will last but I guess people use different amounts anyway so it might be different for other people. I hope mine lasts a good few months.
I originally bought this out of curiosity as it was briefly mentioned on Panorama a few years back as a product proven to work. It has been claimed that after 4 weeks of using this product it can improve the appearance of wrinkles by up to 50%. As a lady in my early 30s who's looking a little 'weathered' around the eye area I gave this a go.
I use this product after cleansing and toning and before moisturising. It has no smell and only a small amount is needed. It feels very smooth and silky on the skin and sinks in straight away. I found that just using this even without moisturiser my makeup glided on beautifully after using it.
The cost of this product has gone up quite considerably since its appearance on TV due to it now flying off the shelves, however I would still say it is worth buying as it is better quality than a lot of other more expensive beauty serums, and also you can use the £5 No7 voucher that Boots hand out every now and again (with a minimum spend) to make the purchase a little less tough on the wallet.
Since using this product for a number of years I feel that my skin has benefitted from using this product and I will continue to use it.
Serums - I used to think they were an unnecessary addition to my beauty regime, this product, however, has changed my opinion.
The product forms part of the Boots No7 Protect and Perfect Range. I purchased a 30ml, glass bottle of the product for £23. The range is often on 3 for 2, so this makes it better value. The Product comes in a glass bottle with a pull off lid that is easy to use. The serum is dispensed via a pump action mechanism that releases about a pea sized amount of the product per pump. The serum is slightly grey in colour, fairly light in texture and does not really have a discerning smell.
The product claims to restore skins structure and appearance. The product as been,
"Independently proven to restore the skin's structure, visibly improving deep lines and wrinkles by up to 50% with regular use. The first product proven to restore the skin's structure with prolonged use. So effective that other people can see a significant visible improvement in your deep lines and wrinkles" (Boots website).
The serum also helps to improve skins radiance and reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles by up to 50% in 4 weeks.
The product is Hypo-allergenic and Dermalogically tested.
To use the product I cleanse my face/neck and apply 4 pumps of the product to my face and neck day and night. I then follow up with a day or night moisturizer. The product sinks well to my skin, and feels light and refreshing, not sticky or heavy and it dries slightly matte, as I have oily skin.
The products ingredients are:
Cyclopentasiloxane, aqua (water, eau), butylene glycol, Dimethicone crosspolymer, Cyclohexasiloxane, Glycerine, Arabinogalactan, Sodium ascorbyl phosphate, Magnesium sulphate, Dimethicone copolyol, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium PCA, Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 dimethicone, Hexyl laurate, Polyglyceryl-4 isosterarate, Retinyl palmitate, Medicago sativa (Alfalfa) extract, Methylparaben, Propylene glycol, Lupinus albus seed extract, Butylparaben, Ethyparaben, Carbomer, Propylparaben, Isobtylparaben, Polysorbate 20, Panax ginseng root extract, Morus alba leaf extract, Tocopherol, Palmityl ologopeptide, Palmitoyl tetrapeptide -7.
So does it work? - Yes, I have been using the serum for over a year now and my skin is softer, more radiant, my very fine wrinkles seem to be reduced and overall the surface of my skin feels renewed. I have combination skin, that is quite sensitive and I have never had any problems. I have also started using the serum on me décolletage area, and it has definitely improved the fine lines. Overall, I would recommend this serum to others, as it really does work, it may be a little pricey, but I think its well worth adding to your arsenal of anti ageing products.
The good: Boots Protect and Perfect serum really does the job. I have a few wrinkle lines running across my forehead (obviously been frowning too much) and these have been drastically reduced by using the serum. I can't really say much about the 'protecting' qualities because I'm still using my old SPF day cream, but as far as 'perfecting' goes... well, this works. I'm not saying it's smoothed out my forehead altogether (it's not Botox) but the lines are minimised and my skin looks pretty good as well. It didn't happen overnight, but I could see an improvement within a couple of weeks, and six months on my lines are considerably softened.
The bad: This isn't a cheap product- it will set you back about £21 for a smallish tube, although if you're a bit clever you can get it cheaper by taking advantage of some of the deals Boots offer on a pretty regular basis. If you're really committed to sticking with this serum, you can buy it in bulk on Boots website and this will make it considerably more of a bargain. You'll also need to be patient to get the full benefit of this product since changes won't happen overnight.
The not-so ugly: I found this to be a pretty good make-up base too.
I have been using the Protect and Perfect Serum now for around a year. I am only 29, but have started to see the first few lines around my eye and mouth area so decided to try a few creams to see which one suited my skin as i have very sensitive skin.
The serum is a lovely consistency and glides on to the skin beautifully. The serum has a nice delicate smell and sinks in quickly and your skin really feels hydrated and refreshed. You don't need an awful lot to do your whole face, which is good as the product is not the cheapest around at £19.99 a bottle.
It in a excellent base for the day and night cream and I do use it as a base for my makeup.
After i had been using the serum (along with the day and night cream) I had many compliments about my skin. Even if you ignore the fact that it is supposed to reduce wrinkles it really seems to tone up and even out your skin, and for someone with very sensitive skin its great to find a product that doesn't sting or cause breakouts!
...but the fact that is does help protect against fine lines and reduce them makes this product my best ever find! I have noticed that the lines around my eyes have improved...don't get me wrong, they haven't disappeared but they have reduced.
It is a little expensive compared to the creams offered by other well know brands but as Boots nearly always have the 3 for 2 offer on No7 items you can make it work out a little cheaper for you.
I would highly recommend this serum for everyday use!
I am 20 and so it may seem ridiculous for me to have started using this, but after hearing of the hype for this product's ability to make skin healthy and glow I thought I would give it a try as I have very lifeless and porous skin. The first application was wonderful, it glid onto my cheeks and was very soft, only a little was needed and even later on in that day my skin still felt extremely soft. After a few days of use the tone of my face has improved dramatically, without sounding silly it almost looked as if I had been airbrushed. I have now been using this for over a month and my skin has never looked better, the tone of my skin has improved considerably, my pores and blemishes are all reduced and I look as I should for my age now. It really has helped me and I will continue to use this from now and into the future.
There was a lot of hype about this when it first came on the market, claiming to have firm evidence that it makes a noticeable difference to your skin and the appearance of any wrinkles. I am a loyal No 7 fan, and an anti- ageing addict, so I was easily swayed to give it a go, especially as it was on 3 for 2 which it often is. I used it every day until all 3 bottles ran out, so long enough to give it a good trial, and the verdicty for me is that I wont bother buying it again. I didn't find it had any real wow effect on my skin, there are other products on the market that make my skin look noticeably tighter and brighter and I don't think this is really one of them.
It doesn't last too long and the bottle makes it hard to get it all out from when it is running to the end, so the packaging makes it quite wasteful. Equally, I didn't find it was a replacement for a moisturiser, so you end up having to use 2 products, which is not only more expensive and inconvenient, but I felt I was piling too much on to my skin.
Finally, it is very expensive! If it was half the price I may continue buying it, but for that price I want to feel wowed by it and see some results, and I didn't.
As an 18 year old doing beauty therapy at college I have started to notice the flaws of my skin and love to use many products to help improve my skin and stop any aging happening.
I have slight fine lines - not wrinkles I must point out! which everyone gets and are very faint but do bother me, so I might as well start now!
I received this in a gift set in a small squeezy tube but you can buy the 30ml bottle in boots for £21 and get 84 points.
Your skins elasticity weakens as you age or caused by things such as sunbeds and cannot be repaired but the skins condition can be improved.
It claims it will reduce the appearance deep lines and wrinkles up to 50% after 4 weeks of using it, and is proven to restore the skins structure. It takes 6 months of use to rebuild the structure.
It is a white yellow colour and quite thick but thin enough to smooth over your skin easily, it is also hypo- allergenic.
After cleansing and toning my face I apply it under my eyes and between my eyebrows and rub it in evenly in circles and always work upwards so you don't make your skin worse and could cause fine lines, I then moisturise after.
It obviously doesn't work right away as I said it does take 4 weeks of use, but you do immediately notice that your skin does look more improved around your eyes and you look more awakened, under my eyes sometimes look quite dark after I've slept and this does reduce it.
After using for quite a while over 4 weeks this has reduced the lines and dark circle have really improved and lines are gone!
Its worth the money since its an anti-aging product that actually works and isn't too expensive, it does what it says for me after the 4 weeks and I will be continuing to use it daily. My skin looks much fresher and more awakened and I don't look like I haven't slept!
Boots' Protect and Perfect Intense Beauty Serum is an anti-aging cream for the face which was the first product to ever be scientifically proven to reduce wrinkles. The serum was proven to reduce the appearance of even the deepest of lines and wrinkles in the skin by up to 50% when used regularly by restoring the natural structure of your skin. After continued use for 12 months, trials showed that 70% of women were able to see a significant improve in the appearance of their skin.
It's no wonder this product has caused such a stir. I became aware of the product when it hit headlines in 2007 after being proven to work and women hit the shops desperate to get their hands on it. It was some time before I got to try it out as every time stocks were replenished, the serum was snapped up immediately with people started to queue up at 5am just to get it. I wasn't that desperate for it so I waited. Things are a little calmer now and it's thankfully easier to get hold of.
You can buy this product from Boots stores or online for around £20 for 30ml. A mini bottle also comes in the free Boots sets that they give away sometimes when you make a purchase. It can be used daily. It is to be massaged into the face and neck after cleansing and toning but before moisturising. It is dermatologically tested and hypoallergenic.
So how on earth does this product perform these miracles? According to Boots, as we age our skin structure because weakened and loses its elasticity. It becomes weakened much faster from constantly being in the sun or using sun beds - you've been warned! When skin loses it elasticity, it can't return back to its original shape.
Our spring is like a metal slinky, if you stretch it too far, it can't go back to how it was before. Weird analogy I know! This serum rebuilds the original structure meaning that deep lines and wrinkles will begin to disappear as if by magic. Scientists saw that the cream was stimulating the production of a substance called fibrillin. This is the tissue the face that gives the skin its elasticity.
The serum contains a cocktail of powerful antioxidants and peptides. The secret ingredient is Alfalfa extract. This substance is intensifies the anti aging actions performed by the other active ingredients. Alfalfa extract is a fantastic source of protein and contains many minerals and vitamins including C, D, E and K. It also conditions the skin and increases and promotes skin healing.
It immediately enhances your complexion from the first use, making the skin appear more radiant. The serum has a velvety consistency which glides on effortlessly and seems to melt into your skin. It has a non greasy formula that feels nice even on my skin which can get very oily. Even with my spot prone and sensitive skin, this product has never caused any discomfort or made any blemishes to appear. It feels as light as air when you apply it to the skin.
According to Boots, you should start to see results as soon as 4 weeks. It didn't really have to do much work on my skin. My mother, thank goodness, had me moisturising daily from the age of sixteen and I also wear sun cream so my skin still looks young. But I noticed that I was starting to develop some laughter lines, better than frown lines I know, but still an unwelcome addition to my face.
I've used this every day for over a year and I would say that it was around six weeks before I saw any improvement on my laughter lines, but now eight months on, they have practically gone. I must emphasise, these were faint lines to begin with but deep enough for my make up to settle into them and look unsightly... But that doesn't happen any more, yey! Other than getting rid of those lines, it's also made my complexion brighter and healthier. My skin is much more radiant and feels softer and smoother to the touch.
My mother started using it after me continually raving about it. After six months, she feels that her wrinkles have become less noticeable. At present, its effects are minimal on her skin, (I won't tell her that!) but her skin definitely looks healthier, fresher and younger.
This serum is more of a fixer than a preventative measure meaning it is not necessary unless you've already developed lines and wrinkles. I am a massive fan of this product. It definitely works on my finer lines. Although it's pricey, a little goes a long way so it won't run out incredibly quicker. I can't speak highly enough of this product.
I started using the Protect and Perfect Serum when it first came out, and I switched to the Intense version as soon as that came out. I've always used No7 products and been very pleased with them. The value for money is excellent - being a Boots own brand you get a lot for your money.
The Protect and Perfect Intense Beauty Serum really does make your skin look better...plumper, brighter and smoother. I don't know how it does it, but it does make a difference to the look and feel of your skin. I use the P&P serum everyday under my moisturizer. You need to keep up using it everyday, otherwise you will start to notice. If I forget to wear it for a few days you can definitely see the difference. But a good few weeks of daily application really does seem to make my skin look better. It's brilliant!
The price is also good. Currently it costs £21 for 30ml, which I think compares favourably with other anti-aging products. And being No7 it's often on 3 for 2, making it more affordable.
When this product was first launched on the unsuspecting British public in 2007, it produced quite a brouhaha in the press. Following a TV programme which concluded that Boots Protect and Perfect was pretty much the only face cream which actually did back up its claims with results, sales of the product sky rocketed by about a gazillion percent and, I was one of that number who switched allegiance from good old Oil of Ulay (or whatever it calls itself nowadays) to embrace this miracle cream.
Boots have always been at the forefront of good quality, reasonably inexpensive skin care products so I knew their claim that the cream reduced the appearance of wrinkles would be backed up by good research and development and wasn't just the result of a clever marketing campaign, so I rushed out to buy some of this fabulous cream which was going to keep me looking young and wrinkle free. Of course, as everybody else was seeking out the same fountain of youth, I had to wait until stocks were replenished but eventually I was rewarded for my patience and began using the cream immediately. All I had to do now was sit back and watch those little laughter lines - oh alright, wrinkles - disappear!
A 30ml bottle of this product is currently retailing at Boots stores and also on their website for £21. The Protect and Perfect range are occasionally available during Boots 3-for-2 promotions which considerably reduces the cost.
The first thing I should do is correct myself because this isn't actually a cream at all but a serum. I'm not absolutely certain of the difference other than that a serum is in a more highly concentrated form. The ingredients list is long and full of chemical names which mean very little to me so I'll skim over them. I will mention, however, that this serum does contain parabens which have been linked to the possible increase in breast cancer in women, although research so far has proved inconclusive. Personally, although I wouldn't recommend products containing parabens to young women under thirty, certainly not until their safety has been proved one way or the other, I feel that I'm so well stricken in years that it's unlikely to significantly increase the odds of my developing breast cancer. This product is, of course, hypo allergenic.
The Protect and Perfect range are packaged in a pale aqua blue and gold box and the product itself is contained in an attractive semi opaque glass bottle with a pump dispenser covered by a pearly white cap which wouldn't look out of place on any dressing table.
The pump dispenses the product in small blobs of serum holding very little fragrance and what scent there is soon dissipates. The serum is slightly oily in both appearance and consistency with a silky feel when massaged into the skin. This slight slipperiness makes the serum very easy to apply and it sinks into the skin almost immediately leaving behind absolutely no vestige of oiliness whatsoever. The skin simply feels soft and well moisturised.
No 7 claim that this serum "restores skin's structure, visibly improving deep lines and wrinkles by up to 50%" and I can't dispute this claim. My own experience is that as a moisturising face serum it works perfectly and provides a good base upon which to apply my make up. As an anti-wrinkle preparation, after several years of constant use, the jury is still out. I feel fairly lucky in that I've been blessed with a relatively good set of genes and don't look my age or so I've been told.. My genes, coupled with the fact that I've never been much of a sun worshipper may have contributed to this but I like to think that my daily application of this serum has also helped to keep my wrinkles at bay. I'd be a liar if I said I didn't have any lines - my laughter lines around my eyes could more correctly be described as crows' feet now - but I do feel that using this serum has helped to prevent the fine lines that I do have from deepening into more defined wrinkles. I'm not sure, however, that it has reversed the ravages of time and neither do I feel it's lessened the depth of any of my lines.
So do I recommend this product? Yes. For women with more mature skin, I'm sure this product helps to maintain the skin's moisture levels which, in turn, goes a long way towards keeping deeper lines and wrinkles at bay. However, don't expect huge miracles. If you already have deep lines, it isn't going to make them go away but it may very well stop finer lines from becoming any deeper. This is certainly an effective tool in a woman's armoury against the steady march of time and, to my mind, the price of this preparation is money well spent.
== What Boots Say ==
"No7 Protect & Perfect Intense Beauty Serum is proven to restore skin's structure and appearance."
Much more impressive information to back this up is available on their website, as well as the ingredients used. As research can result in changes to formulations, I advise that you keep up to date on this, if you suffer from any allergies.
== My Opinion ==
Like a lot of rejuvenating skin products, this isn't absorbed well by most of my facial skin, despite being in my late 50s, which means it would make me more spot prone. This re-enforces my believe that it is more important to choose your skin care by skin type rather than any other criteria.
However, it is the best LIP moisturising treatment that I have come across. I now always use it on my lips after cleansing. In summer this is often all I use on my lips, although sometimes put lipstick on top. In winter when going out into harsh weather conditions, I will put a moisturising lipstick or protective balm on top.
I have been using this for several years now, and believe it has greatly helped improve the condition of my lips, as in sinks in, instead of just lying on the surface like many other lip treatments that I had previously tried.
I have also tried using a small sample tube of the No7 Protect and Perfect Lip Care, but this product works out a lot more expensive and, in my opinion, is not better for the job, as this also requires moisturising lipstick or balm on top to protect lips from severe weather conditions.
== Availability and Price ==
Being in the Boots own No7 range, this is only available from their stores on the high street or through their website.
Boots often have special offers on their No7 beauty range. If you take advantage of the special promotions, as I do, you should never have to pay the full price of £21 for 30 ml.
At the time of writing, it is part of a 3 for the price of 2 promotion, along with a selection of other No7 products.
As I only use it on my lips, and need a tiny amount per application, one tube will last me about a year.
I will not use this product on most of my facil skin, which is combination (dry, normal and greasy patches), as it will just usually sit on top, making me more spot prone. Even if I just try to put it on the drier parts, it seems to end up spreading.
Although "protecting and perfecting" LIPS is not the primarily aim of this product, I will continue to use it on my lips as I have found it very effective in improving their condition.
THIS IS THE MOST EFFECT LIP MOISTURISER I HAVE USED, and with continued use has immensely improved the feel and look of my lips.
However, it is not a balm so I use another product on top in severe weather conditions.
I will drop just one star from my product rating as it is not suitable for all of my face, but had it just been advertised as a product for lips, I would have given it the full 5 stars from my experience.
