Every year Santa is kind enough to bring me a selection of beauty gifts which normally consists of No 7 is some kind of format, a couple of years back I received this in one of the sets.
The cream retails for £24 and it is available both online and in the stores, quite often, the range is subject to promotional offers such at 3 for 2 or £5 off so I would recommend stocking up when these are on. For your money, you get 50ml of night cream, it comes in a little clear glass pot and is topped with a black lid, I would say that the pot does have quite a luxury look to it.
Upon removing the lid, I am greeted with a white thick cream, I was a little worried this may be a little too thick and it may feel heavy on my skin however upon applying, it does glide easily over my face and neck and a little really does go a long way. The cream has a light fresh floral fragrance to it, which although I don’t really like floral fragrances, I must admit, this smell quite nice but because it is quite light, it isn’t too noticeable either. After applying, it seemed to instantly absorb into my skin, leaving it soft to touch and it didn’t leave that greasy feeling other creams have in the past. It left my skin feeling lovely and soft, even the morning after.
Boots state that within 4 weeks, results will be noticeable as they boast that the cream will reduce fine lines and boost radiance. In my opinion, this cream most definitely gives my skin a healthier glow to it and my lines are a little less noticeable.
Overall, I would recommend the cream but because of the steep price tag this gets 4 out of 5 stars from me.
Thanks for reading.
The Boots no7 range for me is one of the best out there. The no7 range includes skin care, make up, body care and mens skin care.
Boots no7 night cream is available from Boots in store and online however you can also pick this up from third party sellers at Amazon or EBay I would however advise you check Boots first as they often have details on this. The cream itself not on offer is £24 but Boots seem to run a constant 3 for 2 promotion or similar on the no7 range so if you buy along side other things it works out cheaper. If you buy online look out for online only deals, I've seen sets including the day cream, serum and eye cream for around £50 available. At Christmas Boots do a huge range of gift sets which include the no7 range, usually the big no 7 hat box will contain day and night cream as well as selected items from the no7 range and usually cost around £65 and on 3 for 2. This box is usually in the "xmas deal week" and will be sold at £30 so better than half price but you will need to check in store and online regularly as these sell out quickly when they go on offer. After xmas in the sales you may also be lucky to buy this at 75% off like I did so I got my whole box for £16.25.
I've only ever brought this as part of a gift set as opposed to on its own but on my visits into Boots previously I have seen its packaged in a box and once open it reveals the tub. Now I say "tub" because I'm not sure what other word to use but its glass and a circular shape with a plastic lid. The label is clear but the class is slightly blue, this allows you to differentiate between the day cream which is more pearl in colour to this light blue. The label is clear but has no7 and other writing in black.
I've used the day cream along side this for many years and never had any issues. The texture of the cream is thick and silky, I think that the night cream is slightly thinner than the day cream but it still has a good consistency to it. I apply small dabs over my face and gently rub in circular movements and the cream melts into my skin without leaving it feeling sticky or greasy. In the mornings my face feels soft and hydrated. There is no real smell to the cream which isn't a bad thing because its not overpowering, this cream doesn't need to smell nice to be nice to the skin.
I've been using the day and night cream for a good few years now. Im 27 years old so by no means any spring chicken and this has helped my skin out a great deal. My skin is awkward to say the least! In the summer its oily and in the winter it tends to get quite dry, I also still suffer from spots. The no7 range as a whole has helped me maintain a balance over my skin so its not so oily or dry. The night cream works well with the day cream, on its own this night cream will still works wonders as it leaves my skin very soft and hydrated. Price wise I would recommend buying on offer or even better at Xmas when its on the deal of the week. I brought mine in January this year and its still going so although a pot looks small it lasts for months, at little goes a long way for this cream.
Since using this in conjunction with the day cream I have noticed a huge improvement in how my skin looks. My skin was a combination, of very oily in the T Zone and dry in other parts, and this cream completely evened this out. I've also noticed that my skin seems more radiant, and have been receiving a lot of comments on how great my skin looks. As a night cream it is thicker than a day cream but not to a point I would count as a disadvantage. After using this product I would not use any other, and although it is more expensive than other brands you may find in Boots, or even other No 7 creams it is absolutely worth the money, and I find the product goes a long way so you do not need to buy it often, which makes the price seem even better!
As someone who has always suffered with dry skin, I am always on the look out for a moisturiser that is intensive enough without leaving my skin feeling greasy and sticky. I feel that this cream does this perfectly. Personally, I use this cream in conjunction with the day cream, although this review will focus on the night cream.
It comes in a 50ml pot, which costs around £22, although it is often included in 3 for 2 deals. Although initially quite expensive, it can last for up to 24 months, and as it can be used very sparingly it can work out cheaper than other moisturisers, where the pot only lasts a couple of weeks as you have to put it on so thickly for your skin to feel moisturised!
Although I have tried other night creams in the past, I have always stopped using them on the basis that I would get oily white stains all over the pillows, and my skin would feel really sticky at night. This cream isn't like that at all - I find that it gets absorbed very quickly to leave your skin feeling soft and moisturised.
I think this is a very good product on the whole, although I wish it was not quite as expensive!
=Boots No 7 Protect and Perfect Night Cream=
I recieved this cream in a small trial pot as part of a free gift promotion about 12 months ago, and as it is expensive, I was pleased to be able to try the cream.
The product is No 7 Protect and Perfect night Cream, it moisturises your skin overnight, while delaying the age process on your face, whilst lightening lines, imperfections and wrinkles, and it is hypo allergenic.
This was in a small black plastic tub, it has a sticker about the product.
The cream is white in colour, and is thick in consistency, and reminds me of cucumbers, with the cream being thick, I just put my finger in and got a small bit and started rubbing into my skin, I was pleasantly surprised to find that a little did go a long way, but when I got near the lower lids of my eyes, they started watering, whether there was something in the ingredients that did not agree with me i don't know.
I left it a couple of nights and tried again, unfortunately the same thing happened again.
=What did I think=
Before the eye incident, I liked the cream, although it was a small pot it looked like it was going to last a while, and this would be on the treat list.
It is recommended that you use this cream after cleansing your face.
=Price and Availability=
This is a Boots own product and can be purchased both in store and on-line, although delivery charges may apply.
Sorry it was not for me, but from the way the shelves get cleared I guess a lot of people get the benefits from it.
I suppose since I turned thirty I became aware of the fact that I am aging. People like to tell me I don't look, or act, my age but I was concious that I needed to start a better skin care routine and in particular I wanted to focus on applying a day and night cream. In the Boots post Christmas sale last year I bought a gift set which contained both the day and night cream and also some of the serum too. This review focusses on the No7 protect and perfect night cream.
The night cream that I have I believe is in the older packaging and No7 have rebranded a lot of their range since then. However, my night cream comes in a frosted glass pot which has a pearlised mint green lid. The packaging is simple yet looks effective and it is the kind of thing that I am happy to have on display in my bedroom along side my make up and other bits and pieces. The pot is recyclable once empty which is obviously a postive thing.
There is 50ml of the night cream in the pot and you can use it for up to twenty four months after opening and so there is plenty of scope to use it all up in that time and so get your moneys worth from the product. The price of this cream is £23.00 per 50ml and of course that isn't cheap but I do think it is a really economical cream. From memory I bought it for around £20.00 for the whole set in the post Christmas sales and so it is definitely worth looking out for those or other three for two or such like offers.
The pot tells us that this night cream has a firming and replenishing formula which when used with the beauty serum will reveal younger looking skin. Now, I do have the serum but I don't use it all the time with the cream and so I don't think this is actually essential as No7 would probably like you to believe and so this is something to be mindful of!
The cream is white and has a slight fragrance to it but the fragrance isn't too over bearing or anything and I actually like the scent on my skin. This is a hypo-allergenic cream and I have suffered no ill effects from using it on my skin and I can have sensitive skin so I think it is a safe cream to use. The cream is quite thick and feels luxurious as I rub it on to my face but it doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy or wet. It smooths nicely in to my skin and once it settles my skin just feels so soft and nice. I have been using this night cream most nights for a good for months now and my skin feels in good condition. I wouldn't say that I am looking younger or anything but my skin does feel as though it is in better condition than it was last year. I don't really have many lines on my face to note but I do have some fine lines around my eyes and this is my main worry point as they don't seem to be shifting with this cream but perhaps I need a more specific eye product for that.
I like using this night cream and I do think that it is a good quality night cream for those just looking to start using a night cream. There are more intense versions of this cream available too which offers reductions in fine lines after four weeks and I would probably buy that range after I have used this cream up just because I want something a bit more for the lines around my eyes. I do think this is a good product though and one which has made my skin feeling much nicer on the whole and so I would recommend it.
Thank you for reading my review!
What the product is supposed to do....
This product is No7 Protect and Perfect Night Cream. It is supposed to moisturise your skin overnight while delaying the age process on your face. It is also supposed to lighten lines, imperfections and wrinkles on ones face. It is also hypo allergenic.
The tub does not come in a box but it comes in a plastic tub with a black screw lid. From the outside the cream looks green, but is not. The info on the tub is simple and easy to understand, it is not filled with words that people do not understand.
The cream itself...
As I said, from the outside it does look like a green cream but it is infact white. It's quite a thick cream and it has a light scent of cucumbers. I find that it is not greasy at all and you only need to use a little bit to cover the face and neck.
How to use...
After cleansing your face and getting ready to moisturise, the info on the back says to use after the Protect and Perfect Serum, but I don't. Just dot it around your face and neck and massage into skin. Do not use a lot because this can actually clog your pores and make your face worse off.
Price and availability....
This was actually bought in a gift set for me it costs around £20 from Boots.
After cleaning my face I put this on and I have been using it for around 6 months now, I cannot really comment on the ageing effects but the lines in the corners of my eyes have become lighter, I may only be 21 but I smile and laugh a lot so I do get lines. I found it was a wonderful moisturiser, it made my skin feel clean and very very soft. I have always trusted the No7 range and I find they work amazingly well even though they are expensive the rest of the moisturiser will last me at least another 6 months, so this is £20 a year for something I KNOW works. I also find that when I have not used it for a day my skin is incredibly tight and nasty.
Does not leave my skin feeling weighed down,
Keeps my skin beautiful and soft
The only one I can think of is the price, it's a lot of money to spend especially if you are buying the other products in the range
No7 Protect & Perfect Night Cream
I like the Boots no 7 ranges and usually have some of their products in the house especially if they have been on special offer.
This one promises to protect skin and delay the first signs of ageing, boost radiance and visibly improve fine lines. It apparently works to help skin recover from the day and helps shield against free radical damage, as well as boosting and maintaining elasticity.
PRICE AND AVAILABILITY...
The cream is part of a range of creams and serums and is available online at www.boots.com and also in Boots stores. It costs £23 for a 50 ml tub but whilst not the cheapest it does last a good length of time.
PRODUCT AND PACKAGING...
The cream comes in a small tub with a screw on/off lid. I always like the idea of a tub because I can get to the very bottom and not waste any of the product. From the outside of the tub and because of the colouring of the tub, the cream looks as though it will be a pale blue but when I open up the lid, it's most definitely a white cream. It does have a faint and rather pleasant smell although I'm not sure what it is. It smells slightly floral but not overpoweringly so. It is a fairly thick cream, which is usual with a night cream, but still light enough so that I know that it won't clog up my skin.
USING THE PRODUCT...
Simply apply to cleansed and toned skin and leave overnight. I find a little of the cream goes a long way. It applies nicely to my skin and is easily absorbed leaving no residue
I was already predisposed to like this cream as I tend to find that the No 7 products do work for my skin. It is good quality and after leaving it overnight, in the morning my skin does feel soft and moisturised without feeling greasy. I can't vouch for the removal of lines because I think it takes more than a cream to achieve this.
However, it is a great night cream and one which I would recommend
Thanks for reading
Boots No7 Protect and Perfect range hit the headlines back in 2008 when it was featured in a BBC documentary as being an anti-wrinkle cream that actually worked. I have used the beauty serum on and off for several years now and the night cream from the range for over a year. The night cream is designed to be used with the beauty serum but I don't always manage to do this as sometimes I'm just too tired.
This was updated last year and although it still comes in a glass jar with a screw top lid the jar is now blue with a black lid. I like the new packaging and it is easy to tell the difference between the night cream and the day cream. The jar is packaged in a cardboard box which lists the ingredients and how to use the product for the best results.
The jar makes it easy to get to the night cream and by using my finger tips I can apply the right amount of product for me. This jar holds 50ml of product which has lasted me about a year which I was surprised by as it doesn't look like it will last anywhere near this long.
Using the night cream
I either cleanse and tone my skin to remove all traces of make up and dirt at the end of the day or use a face wipe. When this is done I then apply the protect and perfect beauty serum and finish with the night cream as is advised on the box. It absorbs into my skin really quickly and isn't thick and greasy like other night creams I have used in the past.
How does it work?
The box says that the night cream 'Includes skin-firming pro-retinol complex containing lipo-peptides to boost and maintain elasticity' so I'm not really any the wiser about how it works! The most important thing to me is how my skin looks and I think for my age and compared to friends of a similar age that it is aging gracefully. Yes I have a few 'laughter' lines around my eyes but my skin feels soft and I wouldn't say that it has lost any of it's elasticity so I'm happy that this range of products is working for me.
For my age Boots recommend that I should be using the intense range of protect and perfect products, I don't feel that I need these yet so have carried on using those for the youngest age range.
Price and availability
This is a Boots No7 product and so is available in Boots stores and at Boots.com. A 50ml jar will set you back £23 and as I said before this will last about a year with everyday use. This is more expensive than I have paid for night creams in the past but I feel that this cream is worth it. I purchased my current jar as part of a Christmas set which when on offer reduced the price significantly.
Would I recommend?
Yes, I really like this night cream. My skin feels soft after using this and wrinkles are taking their time to develop which is a good sign that this is working!
No 7 Protect and Perfect intense Night Cream
I am constantly on the trail of the magic cream to if not stop, at least hold back the lines and wrinkles developing on my face. Sadly old age catches up with us all and while some people are blessed with skin that seems to hold up well as they age others of us have to work hard to try and stem the tidal flow of lines creeping up too fast.
Ladies have been applying creams and potions to try and improve on nature for centuries. Cleopatra would bathe in asses milk and used rose petals and oil and women in Ancient Rome were supposed to have used olive oil on their faces so this is not a new idea. However the desire to keep young is becoming more so and companies have jumped on the bandwagon created ever more exciting claims for their products. Now of course the trend ios to go for more natural ingredients for many companies and others go to the opposite extreme and feed in botox or even go under the knife to try and stay youthful.
THIS No7 NIGHT CREAM
This is supposedly a more intense cream offering more wrinkle reducing ingredienst. At night of course we can wear creams that are heavier than we would chose to in the day and overnight the creams work their magic on the skin feeding it with all the nutrients needed to rebuild the skin cells. Because at night we tend not to smile or frown the cream has the chance to rebuild those parts the get stressed by expression lines during the day so the cream is often more effective at night.
WHERE TO BUY AND HOW MUCH
No. 7 is a Boots own brand and as such this Protect & Perfect Night Cream is only sold at boots and is usually about £22 for a 50ml jar. However savvy shoppers will know Boots often do a 3 for 2 promotion and this is often included so look out for these times to buy if you are interested in trying it.
WHAT DO I THINK?
I have always rated No7 products as I have always found them to be good quality and a reasonable price. Apparently after the mention by Gok Wan on the TV, sales went mad for the serum in this range and this is what brought me to look at the No7 Protect and Perfect range initially. I can't say I never use other creams as I constantly look out for new products and am particularly fond of Lush and their face creams but I do use No7 as well and over the years have been through a few of these jars. I have just finished a jar so thought I would review my experience
The cream comes in the colours of the range which is a sort of aqua blue cardboard box with a glass jar with a plastic screw top lid of the same colour. The jar is a kind of pearly, slightly opaque glass but you can see how much you have left through the jar. The only issue I have with a jar is that you do have to put your fingers in the jar to get the cream out. As my nails are long I get cream behind my nails and although I do wash my hands before putting my finger in, I do worry about contamination of the cream. The advantage of the jar is that you get every last scraping from it and nothing is wasted whereas creams in tubes I have to cut open as I have found from experience i can get another week's worth of product from inside a tube sometimes and I hate wasting stuff.
The cream is hypo allergenic so is supposed to be suitable for even the most sensitive skin but saying that if you do have any allergies check the ingredients list in case something is in there that may affect you. I had allergy test done at the hospital and know which two ingredients set off my allergies and so I do check every product for those two.
The claim for the product is that the jar contains;
"A rich formulation which contains our patent pending next generation antioxidant complex, to protect against damaging effects of free radicals. Includes skin-firming pro-retinol complex containing lipo-peptides to boost and maintain elasticity."
I do have to be careful of the pro-retinol claims as some of these are things I am allergic to. Incidently did you know that cream for haemorrhoids contains the same ingredient that many skin care creams have and it is exactly that ingredient which gives me jip.
When you open the jar what you see is a thick white cream and I always smell my face creams. This smells okay, not amazingly obvious but pleasant fresh and clean with a hint of floral. When I dip my finger in I get enough for my face and gently apply it first to the areas of greatest need then generally all over. Een though it is really quite thick the cream goes on easily and spreads nicely. It has a slightly sort of silky feel to it which maybe why it spreads easily. I find it sinks in well too so I am not left with a greasy layer over my face which I am not keen on. Almost instantly I can feel it working as I get a slight tingle especially around my lips. My skin feels soft and nice as I go to bed and I have no fear of sliding off the pillow when I use this.
In the morning my skin still feels nice and moist, no tightness at all and no nasty redness from allergies which I have had from some. Do I look years younger? Well, sadly no but i don't think anything apart from Botox of plastic surgery has that sort of result. All I am hoping for is to keep the wrinkles from getting worse and keep my skin with enough elasticity to hold it on my face and stop gravity from pulling it down. This I believe does help with that as my skin is soft and yet springy still not soft like kissing your granny! Ooops ,I am a Granny so I better watch out!!
On the box it does tell you that the cream has a shelf-life of 24 months but I am not sure if that is unopened or once opened. I am not sure if the ingredients start to degenerate once manufactured or once open to the elements. Or is it because of the fact that you are putting your finger into the product? I find a jar lasts me a couple of months at least once open but have sometimes had jars longer unopened in my drawer if I buy too many at once which is something I am prone to do.
Yes, I have found this to be a quality product that feels nice on my skin and has helped reduce the signs of aging or at least slow them down. It is a fair price for the quality of product as you can get cheaper ones and use more cream or pay a small fortune for something that may not actually be any better.
I don't know if I am actually helping my skin but it feels nice and I don't seem to be aging too quickly. I will buy this again in future once I finish the other jars I have stored in my drawers though. It smells pleasant, is easy to apply is easily absorbed and makes my skin feel well looked after.
Thanks for reading. This review may be posted on other sites under my same username.
Bought this product as part of a no7 3 for 2 offer. I had never used a night cream before but was intrigued to try something that would improve my skin while I sleep.
It us in a simple glass pot with a light pastel green lid, with no7 printed on top in gold. The pot is not overly glamourous but I would nt be ashamed to have ut on my dressing table.
It is a light and creamy product which glides into the skin and gives quite good coverage with a small amount of product. It smells like standard moisturiser, so wins no extra points in that category. I will say it takes a while to sink not the skin and you can still feel the product on the surface a good few minutes after application.
No7 claim the product will be firming, replenishing to reveal younger looking skin. I did find the product moisturising and I liked the way it made my skin feel. It also helped my skin appear less dry and my makeup look better the next day. I am not sure if it made my skin feel younger though, but than as yet I don't have many wrinkles to hide. I do have quite sensitive skin and experienced no problems with this product.
I suffer from dry skin and after quite a lot of experimentation I discovered the bext way to manage this is to use night cream. If I use day cream in the morning it makes it difficult to apply make up. Night cream is much thicker and gloopier (with the advantage that you are only going to bed, who cares how shiney your face looks!!) and then it has all night to work it's magic!
I had tried another one of Boots No7 night cream which I got in a taster pack free when you spent over 22 pounds on other No7 products and I really liked it. I deicded to upgrade to the protect and perfect night cream next as that seems to be the holy grail of Boots products, it is definitely very popular within the media.
For a 50ml tub of the cream it costs 23 pounds which is quite costly. I used a 5 pounds No7 voucher from the Boots till to go with it and got a voucher for extra points out of the advantage card machine. You also get advantage card points on the rest of the cost. At the price it was, much more than the other AVON product I recently tried, I knew I would have to use it sparingly. In these current climates I can't go splashing out too much on my beauty products.
The cream comes in a partly round partly oval tub. It is white with a screw on and off lid. The packaging is quite chunky, and quite classy with thin gold writing. On top of that it comes boxed.
The cream has a very subtle, almost non existant smell. It is certainly not fragranced.
The cream is thick in texture, and cold to the touch. It is good for soothing your face after a hard day at work. It feels very soft and turns a bit greasy and shiney once rubbed into your face. I certainly wouldn't go out 'wearing' it, but it is great for going to bed with! I only use it on my drier areas, I certainly don't use it on my chin which suffers from being greasy anyway. When I have tried using it on my chin it makes it have many more blackheads.
The cream leaves my forehead, nose and cheeks, much more moisturised. It feels soft and smooth the next day and it minimises lines. It doesn't make it any more greasy during the day time. It isn't a one off miracle fixer, but it is good once built up over a period of time and used regularly. If it wasn't for the price I would give it 5 stars. As I find a cheaper avon product does almost as good a job I am going to have to give it a 4*.
No.7 Protect & Perfect Night Cream, 50ml
£21.50 (which will earn you 84 advantage card points worth 84p)
I'm sure we have all heard of the miracle that is No 7's Protect & Perfect serum (proven to work!). Boots have since expanded the range to creams, body, 'intense' versions, and even a men's range.
I am a big fan of the Serum so had to try the rest of the range. I bought this when it was on offer, and also used a couple of vouchers so didn't have to fork out the full price - I wouldn't have tried it otherwise as I have tried the 'day' version and, although I was quite impressed with it, I didn't think it was really worth the money!
£21.50 sounds a lot compared to some of their other creams, but this is a 50ml pot rather than the usual 30ml, so it isn't an unreasonable price when compared to the rest of the no 7 range.
The cream comes in a large circular tub with a pale green twist off lid and black and gold writing, is good for up to 24months after opening.
The cream itself is a very pale, off-white colour. It is rich, yet soft and creamy. It is quite easy to rub into the skin and leaved it feeling soft and smooth. It takes around 7-8 minutes to sink in to the skin, which is a little longer than some creams but this is the night version, which tends to be more hardworking than normal/day creams.
In the long run, there is not much difference to my skin. It feels a little softer, and seems slightly healthier looking, but it does not give any of the benefits of the serum; none that I can see, anyway.
This cream is now also available in an 'intense' version. I haven't tried this, although have tried both the 'standard' and 'intense' versions of the serum and body cream and can't really tell the difference. I am only 25 though, so the effects are minimal so maybe someone a little older would notice a difference between the creams. If you are interested, the intense version is only £1 more, so may be worth a try.
All in all... It is a good product. It works well at softening skin and is very quick to sink in, but it is nowhere near as effective as the serum and is probably not worth quite as much as £21.50.
Bear in mind that this is just my opinion and that while it may not work for me, it may work wonders for you. I won't buy it again as I am just as happy with some of the cheaper No 7 creams, but I would recommend that you give it a go if you can get it on offer as it really is a nice cream.
If you like the sound of it get in quick as boots currently have 3 for 2 on No7 skincare items, and don't forget your advantage card as the points you make are the equivalent of a 4% discount.
And unlike most other beauty/cosmetics companies, if you are at all unhappy with any No7 product you can return it for a full refund, as long as you have your receipt.
Boots No 7 protect and perfect night cream
If you have read any of my previous reviews you will have noticed that Boots No 7 products often pop up, I own quite a few and more often than not I am very pleased with my purchases. This is another fantastic quality from Boots No 7 that I have been regularly using for the last two months.
Something to bear in mind when using this night cream is that a little of this product goes a long way. The cream is rich and creamy in texture and feels and looks like a quality night cream should. You should apply this after you have cleansed (and possibly toned) and then give it a few minutes to properly sink in and get absorbed by your skin before getting your head comfy on the pillow. Once it has been absorbed my skin instantly feels smoother and looks well moisturised while feeling more hydrated and overall in better condition. I have occasionally dry skin and usually pick products suitable for sensitive skin, this product has never irritated or left my skin feeling anything other than pampered.
If anything might put someone off this night cream it might be the smell. It has quite a strong smell which is unusual in a night cream, the majority of my other night creams are all fragrance free. Personally, I enjoy the smell of this product so I don't see it as a negative but it is something to take into consideration. For example I would never give this too my mum, although it is a great night cream she hates fragranced moisturisers.
One night after a trip to the gym and swimming pool I noticed that my skin was feeling very tight and a bit tired looking. I searched the house for a moisturising face mask but sadly I must have used the last one and not yet gotten round to replacing it. It was then that I thought about using the night cream, I applied a thick layer of it all over my face and relaxed reading my book for fifteen or so minutes. When I wiped away the excess my skin was feeling hydrated, refreshed and generally looked and felt loads better. It did take a while for the remaining cream to sink in properly and it felt a bit tacky to touch for a while, but I was really pleased with the result and I have since done this on a number of occasions.
The packaging is simple and sturdy which is ideal because lately I have been doing a bit of travelling to visit a few friends and I never worry that this will open or leak in my bag spilling all over everything else that is in there.
A 50ml tub of this will cost you £21.50 if purchased online or from the Boots store. Boots often run promotions of buy three get one free or £5 off vouchers. I always tend to wait for these deals to be back on when I have to stock up on some of these more expensive skin care products. I try and use night cream on a nightly basis and this has lasted me a couple of months and I still have loads left. For each application you only really need a pea sized amount.
I am going to give this five out of five, in my opinion it really deserves nothing less. I would gladly recommend that if you are looking for a new night cream give this one a try next time you are shopping. Personally, I will be buying another one of these when mine runs out and I will be trying some of the other products in the same range.
