I do like to keep my hands and nails looking nice as they are on show six days a week. I treat myself to regular manicures and would rather die than have chipped nail polish. My hands do suffer from a certain amount of dryness, however, mainly due, I think, to the fact that I have a bit of an obsession about washing them all the time. I like to apply a lot of good quality hand lotions and lately I have been thinking I might like to leave it on overnight for a more 'intensive' moisturising treatment. I knew that moisturising gloves existed and I decided to do a little bit of research about them before I went ahead and bought some. In Boots I ... Read the complete review

When Im at work I am required to use an AWFUL anti-bacterial mousse to wash my hands quite regularly. As you might imagine using that on a regular basis not only makes my hands smell disgusting but it dries them out really badly so once Im finished I need something that adds that moisture back into my hands. Simple hand lotion just wasnt cutting it when I was using that alone so I decided to search for something specially for very dry skin - these 'No7 Ultimate Moisture Gloves' were what I found and decided to take a chance on. I liked the idea of being able to smother my hands in lotion and leave it overnight to sink in because then by morning my hands would be lovely .. Read the complete review

Boots No 7 Ultimate moisture gloves are a good buy for those who suffer from dry skin. So many of us find that the cold winter weather affects our skin and we have to change our skin care regime in order to accommodate it. It is lovely to have beautifully manicured hands that look a million dollars but I am happy to settle for well moisturised skin that doesn't irritate me or feel sore. The cold weather not only makes the skin on my hands sore but it can cause skin chaps that eventually split and are at risk of infection. So from my point of view anything that helps to keep the skin on my hands well moisturised is worth its weight in gold. The Boots No 7 ... Read the complete review

Boots Moisturising Spa Gloves These gloves are actually specifically for skin care use - when you apply lots of your moisturiser or treatment cream onto your hands and wear this on top of it, they help to seal in moisture and work with your hands temperature to enhance absorption of the hand treatment so that you get the full potentioal of your hand cream. What do I think? I always feel that these are a bit unnecessary but sometimes I do get tired of holding my hands up in mid-air, and it's just nice to be able to rest my hands on my lap or on the chair rest while I relax and wait for the creams to work its way through the skin. Quite regularly Boots give out No 7 vouchers when you spend five pounds at Boots. It is an offer which runs on and off, but when it does run I make the most of it and stock up on them. No7 isnt a brand which I normally buy from, I find it over priced and some products I like, but some I find are not so good. However as the vouchers do not have a minimum price they are great for buying small accessories, like these moisturizing gloves and only paying a small amount for them. Using the voucher, I got these gloves for only fifty pence. If you wanted to pay full price you would have had tpo pay £5.50. I am not saying that is a lot, but to me 50 pence is much more of a ...
