Ok i admit it, I get blackheads on my nose. I used to get them all the time when i was younger and worked in London, I put it down to the pollution and dirt but i haven't got that excuse anymore as my office is about 10 minutes away by car. And i don't work in the city anymore.
I used to use those Biore strips but find them expensive and leave my skin a bit dry and sore. So i bought this, Did it save me?

PACKAGING

Comes in a stand up blue 145ml tube with a flip top at the bottom. The Clean & clear logo is on the top and then name of product underneath.
It then states that it is" with natural jojoba beads to lift away dirt and oil and help clear blackheads". then you have the johson & johnson name.
I do find the lid can get a bit messy and i need to wipe it off regulary but that might just be me!

HOW DOES IT WORK?

It has exfoliating micro beads that are supposed to work to remove trapped dirt ,oil and dead skin cells that clog pores and cause blackheads.
There are 3 sizes of beads, Bigger ones for exfoliation and smaller ones to unclog the pores. ( Don't know about the medium sized ones! ). This also contains salicylic acis which is an acne fighting ingredient.

USING
----------
The first thing i noticed is this is quite creamy. The scrub is white in colour and the beads are blue. You put a medium sized amount onto your hands and then massage into your face. Be careful to avoid the eyes and mouth ( It doesn't taste that good! ). Massage for about 30 seconds, You really can feel the beads on your face, It doesn't feel grainy like some do but also not to harsh. The scrub doesn't foam up that much but a nice amount. I obviously have a better rub around the nose but do use this all over my face. After 30 seconds rinse off completly and pat your face dry. My face does feel nice and soft and when i check YES! The blackheads seem to have gone.

There are a lot more in the clean and clear range but i have just used the ones that are for this problem.

I do use this a lot and at first used it everyday but even though it did get rid of the blackheads it didn't stop them from coming back, Which it does state that it does, So i use this about twice a week and it has made a difference and they are not as bad as they were. I do feel it is a better option than the nose strips or that metal blackhead clearer that looks like something from a torture chamber!
