Advantages: I saw results within a week
Disadvantages: Not good for sensitive skin types.
I bought this cleanser on a whim from boots as it was on offer.
I am pleased with the results overall, after using it twice a day, in the morning and at night, it reduced the amount of blackheads more than other products I have tried.
I would only advise using it a maximum twice a day, because extended use causes dryness and redness to the skin, and I wouldn't recommend this to people with very sensitive skin.
A useful product to use along with this one is an anti-regreasing moisturiser, after using the cleanser, apply the moisturiser, it should stop the skin becoming greasy again for quite a few hours, and take care of the skin where the cleanser might have caused some abrasion.
Overall I'd say give this product a try if your skin is not too sensitive to off-the-shelf cleansers such as this, it did work for me, but don't overuse it.
Summary: Good product, but don't use too much and be patient for results.
