I occasionally suffer from problem skin and I have breakouts of horrible spots around the chin and the sides of my nose from time to time. The advisor at the Clinique counter told me that despite having a greasy skin in these areas, it is still important for me that I use a moisturiser, but one which is designed for problem skin, such as mine.
For this reason, I have been regularly using Clinique Anti Blemish Solutions Moisturiser and I have noticed a definite improvement in my skin in the short time I have been using this cream.
I can’t say it’s cheap – it cost me £15 for a rather small sized tube, but it does work and I believe it’s a quality product. The tube has a flip top lid and it stand on its head and is made of plastic. The cream is quite thick in consistency and white in colour and has a pleasant light and delicate fragrance which soon disappears after it’s been applied to the skin.
The moisturiser is actually surprisingly thick when it is applied to the skin and it feels very lightweight. It sinks straight in to the skin and leaves no feeling of tackiness afterwards. It is great to just wear on its own at weekend without make up, but equally it is terrific as a base before applying a face of foundation, powder, etc.
The cream I feel has helped me with my problem skin. I would say that it appears to have the ability to add moisture to my skin without making it feel greasy or oily and I also feel that it has managed to dry up the greasy areas and this in itself has helped the spots and blemishes to dry up and my skin looks far healthier and in much better condition.
I really love this miracle moisturiser an though it is expensive I really recommend it.
I use this moisturiser alongside the Anti-Blemish Solutions Cleansing Foam and Clarifying Lotion.
I was initially a bit worried about using this moisturiser as I usually use a mattifying moisturiser during the day, so I felt that I might be left with shiny skin. However, I needn't have worried. This product is incredibly light-weight and is absorbed quickly and easily by my skin. I'd usually leave a bit of time between moisturising and applying foundation to prevent my make-up from sliding off my face but I find that I can apply make-up almost immediately after moisturising because this is so lightweight. Nonetheless, it hydrates my skin effectively and when used in conjunction with a rich night cream ensures that my skin never feels dried out. Used alongside the Cleansing Foam and Clarifying Lotion, my skin is smooth and blemish-free.
At £16.50 for 200ml it's not cheap but the lightweight formula means a little goes a long way and the tube lasts me at least 3 months with daily usage, representing great value for money.
It certainly lives up to it's description on Clinique's website: 'Lightweight, soothing formula helps treat existing blemishes, prevent future breakouts, control excess oil. Creates a barrier against blemish-causing agents. Lightly hydrates to minimize dryness, peeling.'
I'd highly recommend this moisturiser.
I used this clinique product as part of the 3-Step Skin Care System of the same name. I quite liked the look of this range of Clinique products, being that they are turquoise and have quite plain design, like all Clinique products. I usually love Clinique products, but I had a bit of problem with this range of anti-blemish products, I think perhaps they didn't suit my skin.
The moisturiser was not a problem though, it's quite lightweight, which is perfect if you have greasy or spot-prone skin. I used this product morning and night as recommended and I found that it lasted quite a long time (7 weeks) as I only needed to use a small blob for my entire face and neck. I found this product didn't irritate my skin, cause it to peel or flake or any of the other things that I often get with my sensitive skin.
My only issue with this product is the price, it costs £16.50 for 150ml and it doesn't have an SPF in it, which is something I like in my moisturiser. I suppose the price isn't too bad for a moisturiser, because of course you can spend far more on a moisturiser.
This is one of my reviews for the Clinique 3 step anti blemish system. I also deem Clinique products to be of very good quality and always turn to them whenever I have skin problems. Being a teenage/tweenage girl, acnes have always been the bane of my existence especially around that time of mouth. Therefore to combat it, I have turned the 3 step system despite the cringe worthy price tag (note that the whole system would easily make you less rich by £35 ouch!).
I have always liked the simple and clean designs of Clinique products; the bottle, like its partner anti blemish bottles, has a pale turquoise colour and is opaque. On the face of the bottle, it clearly states what's it is for and the order (3rd) to use this product although it'd be hard to use them wrong.
The normal size of this product is a 50 ml bottle which is being sold for around £15.00 at superstores and Clinique counters. Compared to most other skin care products by other products, it certainly is considered very expensive. However, one bottle did last me about 4-5 months after using a pea-sized blob for each application.
The promise of the product is reduce the appearance of redness and moisturise your skin without clogging the pores. The product is oil free which is very convenient for people who have an oily T zone like me. It also says it's fragrance free but it does have a slight airy/clinical smell to it which I feel is soothing. The moisturiser is very good in a sense that it does hydrate your skin and making it feel silky smooth. However, from my experience, I did find that my face starts to get greasy and shiny about 3-4 hours after applying the moisturiser.
Another thing is that I tend to get spots/acnes around that time of months (i.e. they tend to be more aggressive and painful) and I felt like the 3 step system did not make a significant change to my problem. The system was effective in a sense it did make my skin feel softer and smoother but the main reason why I start relying on the system was to reduce the appearance of acnes; so I felt a bit disappointed. By the way, one thing to note is that I did use this system for about 7-8 months and bought the 3 step system one more time before I stopped using them.
Overall, I think the teenage hormonal imbalance is mainly to blame for my acne problem. Since the 3 step system is targeted at cleansing your surface skin rather than tackling the hormones, I believer that's one of the reasons why the system didn't work well for me. Nevertheless, this is solely based on my own experience and someone with a different skin type might find this system very effective. As for me, I have stopped using the system since they were leaving quite a big dent in my purse for little results.
During the sixth month of my last pregnancy my skin decided it didn't like this state of affairs and revolted. It was mainly my facial skin, pretty much overnight my usually clear skin erupted into a mass of redness and (eugh!) spots. As if my rapidly increasing weight and heartburn wasn't enough for me to contend with. Sigh. I needed something to nip this in the bud, I'm the first to admit I'm vain about the skin on my face - my whole adult life I've been blessed with decent skin, and I was NOT about to let that change so hotfooted it into town to see what I could do about it.
I'd been to just about every beauty counter on Birmingham, studiously ignoring Clinique as I'd recently had some problems with one of their products. So guess where I found my miracle product? Yep, Clinique after hours of searching. The Anti-Blemish Solutions Clearing Moisturiser ticked all the right boxes for me, clearing up the spots and vastly reducing the horrible redness within days and keeping it at bay for the remainder of my pregnancy.
The moisturiser comes in a 50ml tube; the design is typically Clinique, understated yet elegantly plain. Even as someone who is not a huge fan of Clinique packaging I can say I do actually like this and think it looks great in the bathroom. The tube is designed to stand on its lid, this being ideal in my opinion as it means the product will always dispense easily even when the tube is more or less empty.
The product has a lovely consistency; it's a definite pampering product with a totally non-greasy but creamy texture, yet it's extremely light and spreads across my skin smoothly and easily. Despite the relatively high price the light, almost lotion-like, consistency makes it a very economical moisturiser as you only need to use a very small amount for each application.
Clinique advise using this moisturiser in the morning and again in the evening, I did this religiously and my skin did settle very quickly. Remember I was having specific problems with my skin and was more than happy with the way this moisturiser (as well as a general skin care detox) solved these depressing issues. The first thing I'd noticed was the redness reducing over the space of just a few days, the spots lingered a bit longer but then I wasn't particularly expecting a disappearing act from them!
This is much more moisturising than you'd think from the light feel of the product, it absorbs quickly into my skin and instantly leaves it feeling softer to the touch. I also think my skin *looks* smoother after I've applied the Clearing Moisturiser; I'm sure it's not wishful thinking and this isn't a long-lasting effect anyway, but I can definitely see a difference and am 'skin confident' (to paraphrase good old Cosmo) for at least an hour after application. The way this moisturiser absorbs also makes it perfect for applying my foundation over, it feels like I've bothered to apply a primer and gives me a smooth base to work on.
After a few months of semi-regular use I'm just about coming to the end of my 50ml tube and my skin is looking great. I'm torn really about how to rate this moisturiser; it worked wonders when my skin was misbehaving but can I honestly say it's worth the price now my skin is back to it's normal self? Ummm... I'm not sure. I suppose I'd buy it again but to be honest I like trying out new moisturisers and there's nothing on a personal level to tie me to this Clinique one. I would however use it as a fall back if my skin ever starts acting up again, although there are no more pregnancies on the horizon so hopefully I won't suffer like that again! Saying that, I think this moisturiser is part of Clinique's 3-Step system so they have a core market and probably aren't too fussed over whether us more casual users buy it or not!
£25-ish from Clinique counters and online. You can sometimes blag a tiny one-use sachet sample but Clinique are notoriously tight with their samples so it's usually best to wait until there's a skincare 'free with purchase' offer as they'll usually include a small tube of this moisturiser.
This review is a follow up to a previous review I did on my anti blemish 3 step system by Clinique. I know I have not done them in the right order, and I do apologise, but they will all be completed soon.
Today I am reviewing step 3 of the system, my previous review was on step 2 (toner) but this one is about the moisturiser that comes with it.
I will start with telling you why I use this product. I have had really crappy skin for years, I had a big problem with acne when I was younger, and the Dr's gave me al sorts to help me (tablets, creams, facial roll ons..) none of these really helped and if they did, it was only a little bit and not worth it. I was sick of being picked on and eventually ended up trying Cliniques anti-blemish 3 step system.
The moisturiser is the final stage of this daily routine and finishes the face off and prepares it for whatever you want to do, sleep, add makeup etc.
It comes in a 50ml tube, a tube that has the screw lid on the bottom so that you can stand it up and makes it easier to squeeze product out. Id say the tube is about 5 inches in height and is a light green colour. It has 'Clinique' clearly written on it in silver writing and looks pretty luxurious.
On the bottom of the product, it tells you what step number it is so that if you do get confused, you can just look at that so that you don't mistakenly do them in the incorrect order.
On the back of the product it says that it is an oil free product, which is great as oil can be a major factor in casing spots, it is also fragrance free and contains 100% no perfume which can also irritate the skin, so this is good.
This moisturiser really did do wonders for my skin, I noticed a dramatic difference in my skin after about a month of using the 3 step system, this may seem like a long time to wait, but patience is needed to repair skin and it is totally worth it. I used to get clusters of spots on my forehead and around my mouth and these have totally gone, not faded like some products, I mean totally gone! It is now very rare that I get a spot, even at that time of the month ladies!! Totally worth the price tag.
As mentioned above, the size that I have is 50ml, there is a bigger size, but I prefer the smaller size as it still lasts ages and is better for when I travel as it is lighter and if it did leak for any reason, I wouldn't lose as much product. I have had this moisturiser for over 7 months now and still have about a third left. Another reason this product is great is because only a tiny amount is needed for the whole face, a little goes a long way with this product and is by far the longest lasting moisturiser I have ever purchased.
Cost wise, this 50ml tube is around £14 depending on where you buy it. It is available from most Boots stores on the Clinique counter, Debenhams, or even online if you are feeling brave. Id advise buying it from boots though so that you can pick up those lovely advantage points on top of a brilliant purchase :P
I would recommend this product to any one, men or women and even teens that have problematic skin, honestly, it will do wonders for you, you will end up thanking me :)
Please, don't let the price put you off, the products last ages and remember, buy cheap buy twice :P
received my tube of Clinique's anti-blemish solutions oil-free moisturiser as part of the Clinique 1-2-3 step skin care range. I had read such great things about these products and the benefits that they had to your skin so I decided that I had to seek these benefits for myself and I am glad I did as I think this has to be the best range of skin care that I have ever used.
The moisturiser comes in a tube with a screw top lid at the bottom. This means the product can stand on its lid, which is beneficial as it makes the product easier to squeeze out. However be careful not to squeeze the tube too hard as because the product is already towards the side of the lid due to it being stood up a lot can come out if you are not careful.
The colour of the anti-blemish range for Clinique is green. I like that they use different colours in their ranges as it makes it easier to distinguish which products are right for your skin type.
The description that Clinique give for this particular moisturiser is; "A lightweight formula that helps treat existing blemishes and prevent future breakouts". This short and sweet description is exactly right.
This is step 3 in the 1-2-3 process so your skin will be nice and clean before you apply the moisturiser. I squeeze a small amount onto my fingertips and dab onto my cheeks, forehead and chin before rubbing it in.
The moisturiser itself I think feels quite silky and I was a bit concerned when I first felt it on my fingertips that it would not rub into my skin well and leave it feeling greasy but I could not have been more wrong. Almost as soon as I had applied the moisturiser onto my skin it had already absorbed and left no trace on my skin whatsoever. I was truly amazed. Not only had it vanished but also my face felt incredibly soft and rejuvenated.
It is very light so when you have applied it to your skin you do not feel as though your skin is being clogged up even more or weighed down.
When reading the back of this product it says that it is fragrance free which is fairly correct however to me it does smell very slightly of tea tree. This is only slightly and quickly disappears.
Sometimes I find that ironically when I use some moisturisers on my face they actually make it dry. This moisturiser makes my skin feel so soft and revitalised. And even better my skin looks amazing. It is not uncommon for me to have at least one blemish even though if it is tiny but after using the products in this range my skin is practically problem free and looks glowing.
And as this product is for all skin types it does not irritate.
I have only used these products all together not on their own so I cannot comment on how they work with other products but together they can work wonders.
In the shops this product costs about £15.00 but I managed to buy a set of miniatures to try out the product range to see if I liked them, I found this on ebay for about £15.00.
This has now got to be my favourite ever skin care range and I would definitely recommend it to anyone even if you only get the odd break out here and there like I do as this will do wonders for your skin. This is 10 out of 10 from me.
-Also on ciao-
I've always suffered from spots and pimples and unfortunately at the age of 27 I still suffer with breakouts, over the years I've tried quite a few different face washes and creams but the only one that I've found to be effective is Clinique's anti-blemish solutions.
I am currently following the Clinique 3 Step Skin Care System, which is:
Step 1 - Cleanse
Step 2 - Exfoliate
Step 3 - Moisturise
I am reviewing the Clinique anti-blemish solutions clearing moisturizer, which is step 3 of the routine. Clinique say "Step 3 of Anti-Blemish Solutions 3-Step System. Lightweight, soothing formula helps treat existing blemishes, prevent future breakouts, control excess oil. Creates a barrier against blemish-causing agents. Lightly hydrates to minimize dryness, peeling."
The moisturiser comes in a small aqua green tube with a pistachio coloured flip style lid, this is the same colour scheme as other products in the anti-blemish solutions range. I think it possibly comes packaged in a cardboard box, but I've had this tube for quite a while now so I can't really remember. The flip lid is really easy to open, I have some tubes where the lid is really stiff and you think you're going to slice your fingers open on them.
When you squeeze the moisturiser out of the tube it is a white cream. The cream is thin in consistency without being too watery, when you apply it to your face it feels very light and is easily absorbed. The moisturiser is said to be 100% fragrance free, however I do think it has a slightly medical smell to it.
Sometimes products designed for blemish prone skin can be incredibly drying, but the Clinique moisturiser actually moisturisers the skin leaving it feeling nice and soft. I find that after you have rubbed the cream in, my face doesn't feel at all greasy which I have found to be the case with other moisturisers in the past. It is oil-free so you don't need to worry about your pores getting clogged up.
Most of the time I do follow the 3 step system and find that the clarifying lotion (step 2) can be incredibly drying on my skin, it is good to know that I can use a moisturiser to combat this without having to worry about it undoing the work of step 1 and 2 by making my skin greasy.
Clinique recommend that you should stop using this moisturiser if you experience and drying or peeling of the skin, but I am pleased to report that I haven't suffered from either when I have used it and I can have quite sensitive skin at times.
I do suffer from the odd spot every now when using the moisturiser, but they are nowhere near as bad as I would get if I didn't use this in conjunction with the cleanser and clarifying lotion. When I do get a pimple come through I do find that they clear up quicker than if I wasn't using anything at all.
There have been times when I have run out of the moisturiser (or other anti-blemish products) and not had the money to replace them straight away. I can tell the difference in my skin within days and start to have breakouts of spots and pimples, and I can't wait until I've been paid so I can replenish my supplies.
The moisturiser costs £15 for a 50ml tube which may seem like a lot of money, but I find that a large pea sized amount is enough for my whole face and the tube will last me for ages.
I bought my last tube when there was a "Bonus Time" offer on and received lots of free samples, some of which were full sized products. I've also bought from Boots in the past when there was an offer of extra advantage points when buying 3 Clinique products.
You can buy the anti-blemish products directly from Clinique's website, or their beauty counters in department stores or Boots stores. If you are interested in the products I would recommend asking at one of their counters as they may be able to offer samples.
The moisturiser is also available in 3 Step Set containing
* Step 1: Cleanse with Anti-Blemish Solutions Cleansing Foam
* Step 2: Exfoliate with Anti-Blemish Solutions Clarifying Lotion
* Step 3: Moisturise with Anti-Blemish Solutions Clearing Moisturiser Oil-Free
The set costs £30 and although the products aren't quite full size it's a good way of saving a bit of money when you first want to try them.
I have been giving this moisturiser a good run for over 6 months, so felt it's about the right time to write a review on it.
I would say that I have a mild form of adult acne, so I basically get a couple to a few pimples quite regularly, usually on my cheeks, chin and jaw, and this usually leaves scars, which I cover up every day with makeup! I have had skin like this for a very long time although as a teenager my acne was worse, but still quite miffed that I still get zits at the age of 30!
In the early part of this year, I came across this special Anti-Blemish Solutions range by Clinique as my colleague at work recommended it as it has worked wonders for her daughter. I read a number of reviews online, mainly on the Clinique website, the majority of which had very positive things to say about this range so I thought it was a good set of products to try. I have no qualms about spending money on premium beauty products if it means it will help my skin, so I went and bought the face wash, toner, and moisturiser. This moisturiser costs £15.00.
Clinique's description: "Step 3 of Anti-Blemish Solutions 3-Step System. Lightweight, soothing formula helps treat existing blemishes, prevent future breakouts, control excess oil. Creates a barrier against blemish-causing agents. Lightly hydrates to minimize dryness, peeling."
This moisturiser comes in a 50g tube, which lasts a few months if you are using it twice a day like I do. The packaging is synonymous with the rest of the range, and is a light bluey green in colour which helps you distinguish the items within this anti blemish range. It's not really exciting packaging and branding, same as most of the Clinique range, but is smart and you can tell it is a premium product. The lid is easy to flip open and closed, and no fiddly lid which you have to screw back on. When you get towards the end of it, it's pretty easy to squeeze the tube to get out the last dregs.
This moisturiser has a bit of a clinical smell, but it isn't too strong and it fades soon after applying. It is white in colour and medium thickness in consistency and you don't need too much of it, as a little goes a long way. In the beginning I used to squeeze out too much.
When I first applied it, I couldn't believe how silky and smooth the application of it was, and it feels really nice on your skin when you apply it - soft and moisturised without feeling greasy. I don't even find this greasy even when I near towards the end of the day, which I was impressed with. My skin has a smooth matt feel to it, and my skin feels light and able to breathe. You can wear foundation on top of it if you like, although I'm fairly okay just dabbing a little concealer on the parts I want to mask, I just put foundation on for a night out if I really want to. My skin stays moisturised through the day, and I have not had any dry areas, even on those days when I don't drink as much water as I should.
I'll admit in the beginning I stuck to the whole 3 step Clinique Anti Blemish range but for the past few months I have been mostly using Dove Soap to replace the Clinique face wash, as I found that preferable for washing my face with, as it's very soft and works very well for me. I do still use the Clinique toner (2nd step) but only at the end of the day when I come home, as I found the toner is quite strong and would dry my skin out if I used it both morning and night.
I have been using the moisturiser for a number of months now, and in conjunction with the other products I am using, I feel it is doing a really good job keeping my skin in check. It's not a miracle product for me though, and I still get the odd zit every now and then, but I would definitely say my skin is a huge amount clearer than it used to be. I previously used Garnier Pure spot care range, which was pretty good, but I have personally found this Clinique range to be better. My skin condition has improved to the point where I am happy to continue using this range, and if I'm honest, I'm scared of chopping and changing around too much in case my skin goes worse again! Plus I've tried so many things that I'm not sure there are any miracle products which will magically cure my skin and make me completely spot-free. But I'm pretty happy at the moment, so I will continue with the Clinique stuff as long as my skin continues to benefit.
I know this review will be fairly subjective, as I know everyone's skin is different so you wouldn't necessarily get the same results as me, so if you are considering this range, I thoroughly recommend asking a Clinique counter for some trial samples which will help you decide whether to buy. I decided to just buy full size products online through Boots (750 points for 3 purchases!) as I don't generally like going to beauty counters as I always end up being talked into buying more than I need!!! Typical!
I personally am cautious about buying skincare and makeup products on eBay as I am not convinced that these are all genuine articles, so do be careful and try to read the description and ask questions as where they acquired the stock before you buy. I always buy my products either directly from the brand, duty free, or or from a reputable retailer like Boots, Debenhams etc.
I hope you found this useful, and as always, I welcome any comments...
Like the majority of people, I have also experienced bad skin during my life and I can remember all too well the frustration of endlessly searching to find the perfect solution. Clinique is the closest I have ever come to finding this. I have been using these products religiously now for a couple of years and while the occasional breakout is inevitable, the anti blemish range from Clinique is one of the best I have come across at dealing with breakouts. This moisturizer is probably not suitable for people with dry skin, and it is specifically for those with oily skin. The lightweight formula offers just the right amount of moisture for skin, yet does not clog up pores or create a heavy barrier, and it is unperfumed, making it even better for oily skin. Even though Clinique is expensive, it is worth paying a little more for a product that works and there are often offers at many department stores which stock Clinique such as free make up or gifts. I would strongly recommend asking for a trial of the product at Clinique counters before buying though, to check it works for you.
Clinique's Anti-Blemish range has done wonders for my oily skin type. Since switching to their clarifying lotion as a toner a couple of years ago I have never found another brand as good as it since, so it seemed only right I gave their moisturiser in this range a go!
- Clinique -
Clinique are an offshoot from the Estee Lauder company and were founded in 1968. Clinique claim to cater for individual's needs and realises that everyone has a different skin type. They are most famous for their 3-step skin care regimes, which consists of 3 products and often comes with the line '3 Products. 3 Minutes. Twice a Day' and they claim if you follow this easy 3-step solution for your facial skin type then you will notice a huge improvement in your skin. All of Clinique's products are allergy tested and many of them are 100% fragrance free.
They have products aimed at dry skins, normal skins, combination skins, oily skins... well, you get the picture. They also have their anti-blemish range for people who suffer from spots and blemishes.
If you are unsure what your skin type is, the consultants at their counters will give you a quick and free consultation and advise you on the best products to use. Alternatively you can take the online consultation which is quick and easy to do.
You can find their counters in Boots, Debenhams and many other department stores. Their products are higher end, and range from about £8 to £20-30. Clinique will often have a 'bonus time' gift special offer on. You usually need to buy 2 products and receive a make-up bag with lots of Clinique mini's in and usually a full size product. I prefer to buy Clinique products when this offer is running as it's a great way to try out new products.
- The Product -
So as mentioned before Clinique believe strongly in the 3 step system. The system isn't rocket science and anyone who takes care of their skin knows to cleanse, tone and moisturise and this is simply what Clinique do. The anti-blemish range also has this system and it ends with the moisturiser. It matches the rest of the range being packaged in a pastel green tube, and as with all Clinique products it doesn't have pretty scents or quirky packaging. This is serious skin care for people who are serious about their skin!
Clinique promise this moisturiser to be lightweight, essential for anyone with oily and blemish prone skin like me, but they also state that it has a soothing formula to help with any current blemishes, whilst also helping to prevent any future breakouts. Now I'm always sceptical about a moisturiser being able to help prevent blemishes, however I believe using this with the clarifying lotion in the range really helps to do just that. The products are made to work together to help improve the condition of your skin. Of course this is an oil free moisturiser and promises to help control the excess oil on your skin.
One of the first things which surprised me about this moisturiser was just how thick it is. Often many companies seem to have the idea that moisturiser for oily and blemish prone skin needs to be a watery, runny substance but this isn't the case. I only need a small amount to apply a thin layer over my face morning and evening, after I have used the clarifying lotion, and already I notice a nice difference. My face does not feel clogged up with this moisturiser and instead feels soft and smooth, just what a good moisturiser should do, however for people with oily skin like me, normal face moisturises clog up the pores and only cause more breakouts. It is safe for me to say however that using this moisturiser does not cause me to breakout even more, and my face doesn't feel 'heavy' and clogged up with product.
The anti-blemish clarifying lotion which is step 2 removes any grease and grime from your face; however it can sometimes make my face feel a little dry. Using this moisturiser afterwards really complements it and together they do an amazing job. I always notice fewer breakouts, even on my chin where I usually always have at least one spot! It doesn't keep shine away during the day, but I have yet to find a product that will, but thankfully it doesn't cause my skin to produce even more excess oil which would be the last thing I wanted. I use this moisturiser before applying make-up in the morning and during the day it doesn't cause my make-up to slide any different to than what it normally does with my oily skin, but my skin is looking clearer, feeling smoother and looking brilliant! I also use this before going to bed and on a morning I'm pleased not to notice any new tiny blemishes which sometimes pop up over night for me if I've used a moisturiser which has clogged up my skin.
- Value for money? -
This moisturiser costs £15.00 for 50ml and whilst it is expensive, it's completely worth it. The whole Clinique anti-blemish range has done wonders for my skin that no other skin care brand can do, and sometimes I do try a new brand which offers something cheaper, only to be disappointed with the results and I come straight back to Clinique. This moisturiser is just another excellent product in the range and I highly recommend it to be used alongside the Anti-Blemish Clarifying lotion so you can see a huge visible difference in your skin. My breakouts are fewer and my skin looks clearer, and the trick is to keep on using this range because as soon as I stop my skin only goes back to the way it was before.
I highly recommend this product, along with the rest of Clinique's Anti-Blemish range, for anyone who has oily skin and suffers from blemishes and breakouts quite frequently. Give up all those other cheaper brands and give this a try, it's worked wonders for my skin and I'm sure it will for yours too.
