I received the Coryse Salome in a beauty box (Birchbox UK), and noted it was a night cream and put it in my drawer and forgot about it for a few months. I already hada big no 7 night cream on the go so no point opening another. I later rediscovered it and noticed the impressive gold accented box. Inside was a 7.5ml pot of thick night cream.
This cream has the look and feel of a really expensive product yet it is actually very reasonably priced. I find I only need a small amount and apply at bedtime after removing all my make up, leaving it to do its magic overnight.
I use a cotton bud to scoop out a thumbnail sized blob and dot over my face before massaging in. I prefer to do this as I think fingers in pots are a bit germy! You are also advised to avoid eye contours with this cream which is fine as I do have a separate eye cream if I feel my eye area needs a little help.
This is not greasy on my skin, it skinks in nicely and my skin feel soft and refreshed in the morning. I am really impressed with the product. I used to be wary of night creams finding them a bit too thick and greasy for my skin but this seems to suit me well.
I am really impressed with this cream. I think in the shops I'd have been put off by its 'ultimate anti age' badge but I don't think there's any harm in trying these creams out to protect against lines and wrinkles!
I found this for £5.99 on Amazon (50ml) which I thought was a goood price. I did think the £6 postage was a bit of a rip off though! Birchbox shop also sells it for £14.95 but you would have additional postage to pay on top of that.
I am glad I tried this, I will definitely look out for it in the future, as I like the benefits it gives my skin. I would not pay £6 for postage though! I think this is a hard to find product and it's not a brand I heard of before trying it from the beauty box so they are really good for finding new brands and products. The sample was large enough to last a few weeks and over that time I was very impressed with its performance.
Coryse SALome multi vitamin cream
One of my latest "hold back the years" products, because although I wonder whether they will work i am still a sucker for results!
WHAT IT PROMISES...
This is apparently a complete and intensive beauty treatment to help to slow down the visible signs of ageing. It is, as are many of these products, based on an "exclusive" complex containing RNA and DNA fundamental cell comonents which contribute to cellular renewal. It promises to restore vitality and freshness to dull lifeless skin so that even tired taut skin will regain a radiant youthful appearance. Fine lines and wrinkles will be smoothed away and signs of ageing disappear.
A tall order for a small tub!!
PRODUCT AND PACKAGING...
The cram comes in a box with instructions and information on the back and inside the box is a small 50ml pot of the cream. The pot itself is breakable so careful on tiled floors, and has a screw on/off lid. The instruction leaflet inside the box gives information as well as the box, so it's as well to read it because the tub has no information apart from telling me that it suitable for all skin types.
I unscrew the lid to reveal the cream- creamy coloured with a very faint floral kind of smell but not overpowering and not unpleasant. The cream itself is quite thick but when I apply it to my skin, it is immediately absorbed and requires very little massaging in.
The instructions tell me to use it morning and night, in circular motions, and avoiding the eye area.
PRICE AND AVAILABILITY...
The RRP is £25, but check out websites such as www.fragrancedirect.co.uk for big discounts, depending on whether the product is available.
OTHER PRODUCTS IN THE RANGE...
There are lots of products in this range, all based on the same principle of cellular renewal and including:
* Cream Cleanser
* Facial Exfoliating Gel
* Firming face cream
* Essential Face Cream
The website, www.corysesalome.com gives lots of information about the different products.
I bought this cream along with a few of the other products in the range because I have tried out lots of the well known brands, and decided to branch out, and have found myself impressed with it. The cream is nice and light when applied and doesn't leave my skin feeling sticky and it leaves no residue which I feel I have to wipe off. Non greasy, it is gentle and creamy enough to fully moisturise my skin and works under make up.
Although I think my wrinkles are beyond redemption, the cream does make my skin look brighter and less tired, so it must be doing something.
A recommended cream for anyone wanting a nice easy to apply moisturiser which does brighten skin and leaves it feeling nicely moisturised.
Thanks for reading.
