If you have read any of my other reviews, you will know that I have very sensitive skin. I bought this product when I was having an economy drive and trying not to waste so much cash on beauty products. It is very reasonably priced usually, and I found some in my local bargain shop for just £1.
I was cautious as I normally go for much more 'natural' products and feared that my skin would shrivel up in revolt - but no, my skin was fine. The products cleaned well and left my skin quite soft - some can leave me having use loads of moisuriser to rehydrate it. I love the fact that there is no fragrance - my skin and my asthma are quite sensitive to artificial fragrances and so there was no problem here.
Of course, it is not a 'natural' product and so does contain the chemicals we 'natural' lovers try to avoid like SLS - but what do you expect at such a reasonable price?
My main criticism of the product is the packaging, which is the type of squeezy bottle that you put upside down. However, this means that much of the product seeped out, filling the lid and escaping all over the bathroom. This meant much waste of the product and much cleaning up by me. It would be for this reason only that I wouldn't buy this product again, otherwise a good bargain brand.
Cuticura has been on a market for a while now, it is a very affordable brand and the quality is not bad at all. I am using at the moment this facial cleanser, I bought it from Savers for £0.99 and I thought I'll give it a try. Remarkable after few days using it I could see that my skin looks smoother and it feels much cleaner indeed. It is easy to apply and quick to rinse. I mean it does not make miracles but none does, however it does clean your skin pretty well and this is what I personally wanted. I must say that I do have an olive skin in a very good condition which does not need to much attention anyway.
I do recommend this facial cleanser is good quality and is very affordable no question about. Best places to buy it would be Savers, Wilkinsons and Superdrug.
I was in need of a new face wash and with some money left on an amazon voucher, I decided to browse their selection of face washes to see if there was something new to try. Now, I do have to be careful as I tend to have sensitive skin and so can't just use any product that I see. So, when I saw this product Cuticura Sensitive Facial Wash I was quite intrigued and at the time it was costing me less than £2 I definitely thought it was worth a try.
Cuticura was only known to me previously for their range of handgels and I never knew that they had a range of face washes. This wash comes in a tube with a screw top lid. It claims to be fragrance free, gentle at cleansing and leaves skin purified and includes pro vitamin B5. It also claims to deal with the dryness that can result from sensitive skin leaving skin feeling soft and smooth. Now, my skin doesn't tend to be dry at all, except maybe in the harsher winter weather, and instead tends to be oily, but I do like my skin to be soft and smooth.
There are some real positives about this product. Firstly, a little goes a long way and therefore this tube should last you a long time, as it lathers up well on the skin. Secondly, it doesn't leave my skin feeling tight but at the same time it does leaving it feeling properly cleansed. Thirdly, the price is very good for a a sensitive skin product in comparison to some other face washes on the market, as I have even seen this product online for just over £1.
The one downside however that I have found with this product, and it is only minor is that you must make sure the lid is screwed on fully. I made the mistake of thinking I had put the lid back on, but in the morning, the tube had leaked and there was the face wash all over the bathroom shelf, so the lid isn't that good unless fully and tightly screwed shut.
This is the only minor gripe I have about this face wash however and since I have been using it, although I always use two face washes alternating day and night, I haven't had any breakouts and my skin looks healthy and clean, and feels soft. I certainly have had no adverse reactions to it either which means that it definitely works for my sensitive skin. I would happily purchase this face wash again especially if it continues to be such good value.
