      • "Dried my skin out"

Although I would use Dead Sea Magik products again, I wouldn't use this one!

I purchased this cleansing bar on a recommendation from Holland and Barrett as my skin was dry and I wanted an alternative to my usual soap/cleansing products. The cleansing bar has a very mild smell and a good lather to it once it gets going under water. The cleansing bar is a natural soap free bar to deep cleanse skin and restore ph. balance. Ingredients include natural Dead Sea mud, salt and minerals from the depths of the Dead Sea. It contained no detergents, parabens or chemicals and is supposed to last longer than conventional soaps. The directions for use are to cleanse face, neck and body twice daily.

I used the cleansing bar all over my body for about two weeks. Personally I was not impressed with the result on my face, as it left my face feeling even dryer than it was before and skin feeling tight. I am not too sure about the texture either because it seems to leave my skin a bit dry all over. On a good note my skin did feel very clean and fresh after stepping out the shower. The cleansing bar is a little dear and I probably wouldn’t spend the money on it again. I would though like to try other Dead Sea Magik products as I have heard a lot of good things about the sea bath salts.
