I started using Decleor products approximately 2 years ago and was recommended the Rose d'Orient sensitive range by a beautician who gave me a facial. Since then I have dipped in and out of different beauty ranges but consistently used the Aromessence Rose d' Orient.
It is expensive at approximately £40 for a 15ml bottle but lasts ages- a bottle can last 6 month or more depending on whether you use it everyday or not. Therefore cost per use is not much and I find that you only need to use it every other day.
As it is made out of natural ingredients it does not irritate your skin and I found it has removed red areas on my face and treated dry patches. I have combination skin and unlike many other ranges it did not give me spots at the same time as tackling these problems.
The bottles shapes and style vary depending on how old the product is (the above picture is an older style bottle). The one I have is a small pear shaped bottle, but the most recent range is taller and slimer. They are elegant and classy looking, but simple.
It is recommended to use a couple of drops each morning and rubs over your face. The best way to get it out of the bottle is by tipping it up on you finger tip- if you pour it you end up with too much product. Then rub it into your hands and rub into your face. Give it a few minutes to soak in then carry on with you beauty regime as normal (mosturise, foundation etc). There is good guidance on this at the Decleor website. If you are unsure to whether this is the right product for your skintype I would recommend speaking to a specialist.
I was so thrilled on Christmas day when I opened a small package from my mum and found this Decleor Aromesence Rose d'Orient inside. As my skin is very dry, I'm always looking for products to moisturise and rejuvenate the skin on my face. Having always been a big fan of Decleor, I had wanted to try this oil for a long time. I've now used it twice and absolutely love it.
This facial oil comes in a small 15ml glass bottle with an elegant, oriental style curve to it that looks very attractive on the dressing table. To use the oil, you simply turn it upside down to drip a couple of drops onto your fingers and then smooth this all over your face if you have dry skin. If you only have dry skin in patches, you can use this just on those patches. If you have oily skin then I wouldn't think this oil would be suitable for you.
You do need to use a moisturiser over the top of this oil according to the instructions on the packet. Also, I would recommend this for night use only right before bed as it makes your skin look shiny and I wouldn't want to walk around looking shiny all day. When you wake up in the morning, your skin will be smooth and refreshed. I find it plumps up my lines a bit and makes me look a little younger the next day - not a bad thing at all!
I haven't had any problems with breakouts with this oil, probably because it's so light and pure that it doesn't clog up my skin. Decleor is really a quality brand and I've never had a problem with any of their products that I've tried, even though my skin is very sensitive.
This oil has a musky rose smell and the scent is absolutely lovely. If you do wear it during the day it shouldn't interfere with any perfume you wear as most perfumes contain rose essential oil in them anyway. You could even use this as a perfume during the day by dotting a bit on your pulse points for a very subtle but warm and enticing scent.
I didn't buy this for myself but I believe it costs around £35 for a bottle. That probably sounds expensive but I think it will last a long time. You don't need to use it every night, just whenever your skin needs a special treat.
I first started using Decleor products around 5 years ago after being treated to a facial by a friend.... From that moment I was converted.
Not only have the products have the most beautiful smell they are also produced using the most pure and natural ingredients. The skincare routine is easy to follow and has great results. The products can also be used when pregnant as they are safe in pregnancy and lactation.
Decleor's Rose D'Orient Oil is an elixir of 100% pure and natural essential oils specially formulated for the daily care of sensitive and/ or reactive skin. Thanks to its natural affinity with the skin, this unique and special skincare product penetrates skin upon application for soothing, healthy results, offering immediate softness and reduced irritation. When used with Decleor's Harmonie Gentle Soothing Cream, Rose D'Orient Oil creates a beautifully soft and balanced complexion. It has the ability to intensively nourish the areas that need it the most.
It is best used after cleansing and toning and but before moisturising. I can honestly say that a 15ml bottle should last you a good 6-9 months as you only need a couple of drops each application.
This product is not cheap at around £40 for a 15ml bottle but in my opinion it softens and moisturises the skin beautifully.... Well worth the money!
