This is part of the Hydra Flora range from Decleor which is aimed at normal to dry skin. I received this a in a 15ml sample size with the moisturiser in the same range.
I really like this mask, because it is really simple to apply, no mess and if you are short of time, this can be left on overnight. Don't worry you won't scare your partner as this does not make you look like a ghost.
If you buy a full size product it comes with a box and instruction leaflet. This is bright yellow as is the tube with the mask in. Normal size is 50ml although the picture above is the salon size which is a 200ml version.
It has instructions for application and the shelf life once opened on the back of the tube.
Simply unscrew the cap and squeeze the product out.
This is white and is a light texture almost milky which you apply in a thick layer on your face and neck after cleansing.
I don't apply to the eye area as I tend to only use products specifically designed for around the eyes.
When the cream is applied it becomes translucent, so you can wear this without fear of someone calling. One of life's great mysteries is why whenever you apply hair remover, a hair or face mask, someone knocks at the door?
Leave on for 5 to 10 minutes and remove any excess, or for better results leave on overnight and just let the cream absorb into your skin.
Put any excess on the back of your hands and you will see what an immediate difference this makes to the appearance of your skin.
This has quite a strong flowery smell which I am guessing is the orange blossom listed in the ingredients A little too flowery for me but that is the only negative I can think of.
This mask is geared up to hydrate your skin, to combat any dryness or tightness and protect your skin against pollution.
I have dry sensitive skin and this does not irritate my skin in any way and after using this skin feels smooth and soft and moisturised. What is surprising is that the cream is quite light, but delivers results that you would expect from a much richer texture.
I haven't got to the end of my 50ml tube, but I had 4 masks from a 15ml tube. This will vary depending on how much you apply. My skin is very dry so I put lots on and I estimate it probably works out at a couple of pounds a mask.
This will last 12 months once opened .
A whole cocktail of natural ingredients aimed at hydrating your skin which include:
Neroli essential oil, mint orange blossom water, marine algae, wild pansy extract, hazelnut and Shea butter and something called moringa oleifera which is a tree and they use part of this for the antipollution protection.
Would I recommend?
This is a lovely mask which is quick and easy to apply, no mess and no product stuck in your eyebrows or hairline. It rehydrates your skin and improves your complexion leaving it looking more radiant.
I would not recommend it for oily skin.
Decleor is a premium brand and the market leader in the use of aramotherapy essential oils in the skincare industry. They use plant based ingredients and combine them to target specific skin care problems and I like the fact that I am using all natural products , particularly ones I am using on my face.
Decleor isn't cheap, but I find that it does give good results and I particularly like the Hydra Floral range for its moisturising qualities. I have in the past bought lots of products particularly targeted at anti-aging and what I find is that they don't always combat the dryness. I learnt something really valuable from the Decleor beauty therapist which is that no products will work if your skin lacks moisture and they recommended using the Hydra Floral range to address the dryness. This helped enormously and I use this particularly in the winter months, when the weather and central heating plays havok with my skin.
Availability and Price
Widely available online, I buy from QVC as they usually have kits that represent better value, plus if you are not happy with this you can return for a full refund within 30 days. So you could apply 2 masks a week and still return, all you lose is the postage.
Also from Decleor salons and House of Fraser.
50ml is £26.50 from Decleor
200ml is £87.63 from Amazon
