I am always a bit sceptical of using cheap face wipes because I have had bad reactions to them previously where they have made my skin look red and caused it to be itchy. Plus they are usually rubbish at removing make-up which is what I tend to use them for most of the time.
I only tried these ones because someone recommended them to me and because they were cheap it didn’t matter so much if I didn’t like them.
I got them in Tesco and they cost me 1.00 for 25 wipes. The wipes have a 3 in 1 action to gently clean, tone and moisturise your skin and they are fragrance free and dermatologist tested.
As I mentioned I only really use wipes to take off my make-up when I am being extremely lazy as most of the time I use a proper cleanser and toner for it.
I only use wipes when I just can’t be bothered. When I first used the wipes I was surprised to notice that the cloth that these are made out of is a good quality material and not extremely thin.
They also have a good wetness to them which is neither too wet nor dry. Even though they are supposed to be fragrance free they actually have a slight fresh smell to them which is subtle but there. I wouldn’t let this worry you however because even though they have this slight fragrance they are extremely gentle on your skin and they didn’t cause any negative reactions to my skin. In fact I actually quite liked how my skin felt after using these as it felt soft as well as clean.
I don’t wear a lot of heavy make-up but it needs to be cleaned off properly or else it will cause my skin to break out and I was really surprised and pleased that these wipes removed all the make-up from my skin because if I am honest I really wasn’t expecting them to.
These were a great find and I am definitely going to pick up some more next time that I get the chance to pop into Tesco for some shopping.
As I wear make up - sometimes to much - I'm always needing a face wipe to remove it at night or in some cases if I'm not happy with my make up for example if my foundation goes on patchy due to my combination skin then I'll quickly reach for these face wipes to remove it.
I've tried a fair few different types of face wipes but I'm always coming back to these wipes as they're cheap, do what I want it to do easily and they don't flare up my nightmare skin. I've been using these wipes for a few months now and I find they suit me well.
These wipes are 3 in 1 fragrance free, PH balanced, allergen free and dermatology tested so they're good if you have problem skin, like me, They're also soap & alcohol free. I find that sometimes if I'm having a really bad skin day then these wipes help my skin feel a bit better. The packaging claims "Gently cleanses, tones and moisturizes delicate skin" which I find that it does do exactly that.
These wipes come in a green & white plastic wrapping with a peel off sticker so that you can take a wipe out, and then place the sticker over again to keep it sealed and stop them from drying out. Also you get 25 wipes per packet for £1.00 from Tesco.
When using these wipes I find that one or two wipes is enough to completely clear all of the make up on my face - foundation, powder, mascara etc -, I thought that these wipes was quite thick and also they're quite strong and don't dry out quickly after using them so they seem to stay wet for a while. They don't smell of anything fruity or flowery either as they're fragrance free which I don't mind as I've used wipes with a fragrance before and they've flared my skin up.
These wipes don't irritate my skin or make my skin feel rough, they make my skin feel smooth and free of makeup or dirt.
I do like the feel of these wipes as they're soft on my skin and can quickly wipe of all my makeup, Even my boyfriend who doesn't normally like using other face wipes uses these ones occasionally!
I would recommend these wipes as they're strong and quite thick so they remove make up easily without using loads of wipes in one go, also £1 for a 25 pack you can't really go wrong with these.
A while ago I ran out of facial wipes which I predominantly have used to remove make up especially mascara before I go to bed. I have always tended to purchase the Tesco own brand as I didn't ever really use them as a facial cleansing wipe but a make up remover wipe and as long as it did the job I kept the price down. When I went looking for such wipes again, the ones that I had previously purchased were out of stock, and I noticed these Derma 3 in 1 Intensive Facial Wipes on offer at the time and recognising the brand I decided they would be worth a try.
One of the things that caught my eye about this wipes at the time was that they were fragrance free, which is important to me as I have quite sensitive skin. There are 25 wipes in a pack and on the front of the packaging it claims that these wipes will gently cleanse, tone and moisturise 'delicate' skin. These wipes are suitable for all skin types, as well as being dermatologically tested and ph balanced. They are also alcohol and soap free. So, they really should appeal to most people.
WHen you take a wipe out of the plastic packaging, it does feel very soft to touch. In terms of removing make up, I don;t tend to wear foundation, but I would wear eye make up at times and I have used these wipes a lot to remove mascara etc and it has only ever taken one sweep of the wipe over my eyelids and any lingering eye make up is removed. I don't ever have to use a second wipe, so in that regard they are cost effective and a pack will last a lot longer.
Obviously being fragrance free there isn't really a scent with these wipes but there is a freshness about them. I find them very soft on the skin and they really slide over the skin when you are using them. After using them to remove make up so effectively and gently, I ended up using one of the wipes to cleanse my face one evening when I was tired and couldn't be bothered washing my face. Sometimes when I have done this in the past, a day or so later a spot can appear, and I always feel that my skin hasn't been as well cleansed with the wipe as it has been with the facial wash. However, that has never been the case with these wipes - if I use them to cleanse my face either in the morning or in the evening, I feel my skin is cleaned well, it feels fresh and crucially to me it hasn't led to any spots appearing. So much so, that I have become quite lazy recently and have started to use these wipes more frequently to cleanse, either when I am in a rush in the morning or just want to get into bed at night.
I would happily purchase these again and they truly are the best facial wipe I have ever tried as they really do cleanse my skin without leading to any spots days later.
I have been using a number of different brands of face wipes recently, and I like to see which give the best results. Having sensitive skin, these Derma Intensive wipes sounded ideal for me as they are fragrance free which always helps keep my skin in the best possible condition. I found these while shopping at Tesco recently and they were a good price as well just to sway me even more. I haven't heard of the brand before but I always like to give every brand a try and the overall look of the wipes looked quite nice which is why I wanted to try them.
These look very natural with their green packaging as they come in a plastic rectangular packet. The top of them is a peel back lid to keep the wipes moist and you get 25 of them in a packet. The label is very simple and it has the Derma Intensive logo and then says that they are 3 in 1 fragrance free wipes that cleanse, tone and moisturise delicate skin. I do have normal skin but these seem ok as they are ph balanced and dermatologically tested so everything is made clear on the front of the packet. On the reverse you have your ingredients etc.
3 IN 1 FRAGRANCE FREE WIPES
These wipes are for use on all skin types, as I've mentioned above, I suffer from normal skin on my face so am lucky not to have greasy or oily skin. They do warn you on the packet that in rare cases if these wipes cause a bad reaction, you should stop using these. These should be kept out of eyes but if they get into eyes then rinse thoroughly with water. These wipes are alcohol free and are good for removing face and eye make up and are kind to skin. These also should not be flushed down the toilet but only disposed of.
These wipes come on a really good quality material cloth which is great. It smells very fresh like a cucumber cream almost, it is hard to explain but they just smell fresh and clean which is a lovely smell. It is fragrance free so I wasn't expecting it to be anything really scented. To touch, these wipes are damp but that is the moisture on the wipe which keeps well if you seal the lid back everytime. I use these to remove my make up at the end of every day as I want to let my skin breathe but as it states they do claim to moisturise and cleanse and tone all at once.
I use these in a circular motion all over my face wiping away the dirt on my face. All of my make up came off easily onto the cloth and my skin tingled afterwards from the moisture and had that clean smell. My skin dried instantly almost and I felt like the wipe seemed to clean off my make up better than normal wipes as it seemed to really work and my skin also felt lighter instantly and a lot more like it could breathe. The wipe seemed to refresh skin completely and one wipe was exactly enough to clean my face.
I think these wipes are a great buy and 25 in a pack is enough to keep you going for the price if you buy a pack every month. Having not heard of the brand before, I now feel encouraged to look out for them more having had such a good experience with them with these wipes. The wipes have made my sin look good and they have made my skin feel fresh and a lot more clean. I think these are perfect for anyone to use who wants an easy facial routine as these do it all with one wipe.
To buy these, I found them in Tesco and I got a packet of 25 for something like £1 which is a bargain for these.
