“ Brand: Derma V10 / Type: Anti-Wrinkle / Texture: Cream / Skin type: for dry skin and for all types / What it does: Rejuvenates, Moisturizes, „
I bought a jar of Q10 "to tide me over until I get my usual £15 cream". I was in for a big shock when I got it home! This cream is fabulous and I have stocked up on it! I can't believe I have been paying a fortune over the years on one of the leading anti-wrinkle creams on the market when Q10 has been here and I didn't know about it! I love it - I have extremely sensitive skin and I was actually worried about using it, even once. However, I use it on a daily basis now with confidence - it does exactly what it says on the box!!
It compares favourably with the leading creams, comes in an attractive jar, smells gorgeous but not overpowering at all - and the price is amazing. I have recommended it to family and friends, who are just as impressed with it as I am. So glad I discovered it!
Derma Tech Solutions V10
Q10 Innovations Anti Wrinkle Cream Moisturiser
I am not really one that believes in the power of anti-wrinkle creams as wrinkles will hit you one day as it is a sign of aging. It is all in your genes as to when they will attack your skin. However, moisturisers and creams of different kinds, in my opinion, do help the skin to a degree, whether it is softness or in some way, which will not really ever be known, helps prevent wrinkles. In saying this, when visiting the local shopping centre, my partner came across this Derma V10 innovations anti-wrinkle cream and decided to purchase it for me as a joke. I had to laugh, though as it was here I decided I might as well use it.
My partner bought this cream for only £1.00 from the local B&M store, so it is certainly not breaking into the bank. A lot of people would roll their eyes at the price and insist that a low cost cream would do nothing and that a more expensive one would, though with my thoughts that neither cream can really prevent wrinkles in the end, the low cost one is the better buy.
Now as mentioned, you can not really tell whether something like this will work, especially not after only using it for a short period of time, though certain things can be found as I will mention below.
The cream comes in a basic packaging with a small box containing a small, see-through tub with a white lid. The tub contains 50ml of the cream.
The cream is a white mixture and quite think in consistency. When applied to the skin, it feels rather like a paste to begin with, though once it smoothes into the skin, you can no longer feel it. After a few minutes, the skin feels quite soft to the touch and this lasts quite a while. It is a great make-up base apparently, though I have never used it for this, though can see this being quite true as the skin not only feels soft after applying it, it also gives it a smooth sheen to it which would prevent makeup from matting up. I personally have quite dry skin and this cream seems to have moisturised it well. After using the cream for about a month, I can certainly see the difference in the dryness.
One thing that really stood out to me is the odour. It has quite a strong smell to it, though a really lovely and sweet one which is not at all overpowering. It reminds me very much of a talcum powder smell, with a sweet perfume smell to it. Even if it had done nothing to my skin, I would have been happy applying it simply for this smell!
And as for the anti-wrinkle part of this cream?
As already said, there is no real way of knowing whether this cream is working in preventing wrinkles or not, though I can safely say that it does a wonderful job in smoothing the skin as well as moisturising it and creating a soft feel to it, even though my skin was naturally dry before.
At only £1.00, it is a great moisturising cream and even though it was bought for me as a joke, I think I will go out and buy more for the simple reason of the way it moisturises my skin.
==Derma V10 Facial Anti Wrinkle Day Cream 50 ml==
I had been looking at this product for a good while now as they have tons of the stuff in Poundland and it wasn't until recently that I caved in and thought I would give it a try. For £1 I felt even if it was totally naff I could just give it to Mum as she is always pleased to receive a gift! LOL.
The 50 ml pot of face cream certainly represents good value for money as compared to branded creams is really a fraction of the price. Of course this does make one think that the cream is going to be pretty naff but my curiosity got the better of me and I added it to my basket.
The pot itself is a lightweight plastic one and looks pretty basic. The outer cardboard box gives limited information but I have already thrown this away at the time of writing the review. However the cream does claim to be a regenerating anti wrinkle day cream suitable for all skin types and that was pretty much all the information that both the box and the tub gave.
The main reason a lot of people wouldn't even consider this as a daily facial moisturiser is not because it is sold in Poundland but more for the fact that there is no SPF contained within the cream and thus it won't protect you from those nasty UV rays that health care professionals and beauty therapist harp on about (which is a really important factor).
The tub of the cream is a fairly good design and doesn't look really cheap but just a little bit cheap instead! The white plastic lid is easily screwed off and on and on first opening there was a tin foil type seal over the cream to protect it which I didn't expect!
The product itself is a thick white cream that is held into the pot with ease. On application the cream doesn't appear as thick as it does when looking just at the pot and I have found that a little bit of the cream really does go a long way to cover the face area and the neck. The smell that comes from the cream is not especially strong but the smell is just like a bar of soap! The smell isn't luxurious or at all special but it does smell clean and fresh as a bar of soap would do.
The cream hasn't improved the appearance of my skin in any way apart from making it feel more supple and soft. It has given my skin a good deal of moisture but that is really it. I can't say that I expect much more from it and to be honest I was thinking that it may well irritate my skin but this wasn't the case at all.
Although this cream was nothing special it was not a bad purchase for £1 as I was not looking for anything special at the time. It reminds me of a sort of Nivea classic cream which just gives a feeling of softness to the skin. Because of the fact that it is a day cream, this isn't as thick in consistency compared with Nivea but it is as bog standard basic as it.
On the whole I have to say for the money it is a good buy. It is a basic cream which everyone can afford and if you are on your uppers then its not something that is going to do you any damage to buy this! It has to be a fair score of 3 stars out of 5 for this cream. Not great but not bad! Recommended for those watching the pennies!
Many thanks for taking the time to read.
I do hope that this has been of some help/interest to you.
