      Advantages

      Disadvantages

For those with slight/moderate skin slackening.

This product is now called "Extra firming booster" just incase anyone is confused to the slightly different title.

*Who needs this product ? *

If you're under 30 I doubt very much that you will need this product as the likelihood is that you will not be concerned with the signs of aging that effect the tautness of your skin.

However, for those who are concerned with any slackening of the skin then you could try this. However, if you have quite severe slackening then I would recommend salon treatments such as CACI to help with that first.

*Why does this product work ? *

This product contains the likes of Citrus aurantium amara (bitter orange) peel extract, which is an extract from the peel of the bitter orange, citrus aurantium amara. It is the skin that is used for extraction and is used for its astringent quality, as well as the fact that it helps to prevent skin fragility and perks up skin tone.

It also contains the peptide Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-3 ( Matrixyl) which stimulates the "matrix" layers in the skin, primarily collagen and fibronectin. When stimulated, the skin produces more collagen and it's the loss of collagen that leads to thinning skin and the wrinkling of newly inelastic skin, thus tackling slackness in the skin for long term effects. However, it also contains Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein not only helps to retain and attract moisture in the skin, but it also promotes healing processes and tightening of the skin by developing a strengthening network on the surface of the skin which has an immediate/temporary effect.

      *How to Use*:

Squeeze onto fingertips and apply to cleansed/toned skin. Massage lightly over entire face and throat. I would say that this booster is light, but slightly heavier than the likes of Dermalogica's Hydrating booster. Therefore, in this instance, if you wanted to use both I would apply the hydrating booster serum first and follow with this one. If you like to use oils in your skincare, in this instance, I would apply the oils before this booster as it has a slightly heavier consistency. Remember if you wear a chemical sunblock then your spf cream must always go on FIRST and then your normal post-cleanse/tone skincare routine to follow. If you SPF is a physical sunblock then that will always go on LAST.
