      A great gentle exfoliator

A good exfoliator is something that I can not do without, especially with my greasy skin. I often find exfoliators too gritty, especially when they use unnatural grains to do the exfoliating. The whole point of an exfoliator is to buff the skin and polish it by removing dead skin cells; it shouldn't rub your skin raw. I really like this Dermalogica exfoliator as it uses natural grains that are corse enough to buff the skin yet soft enough to keep it looking and feeling soft and cared for.

      *Price and availability*

The product comes in 75ml bottle and is priced around £25.00. I bought mine from an online stockist and paid £18.00. Definitely worth shopping around!

      *Description*

The 75ml tube comes with a flip down lip, the tube is easy to squirt and good couple of centimetres of this product needs to be dispensed to give the face a deep exfoliation.

The actual Liquid is really thick and smells really pleasant. You can tell that the product contains quite a lot of aloe Vera as gives it it's distinctive aroma. The product is really grainy but they are really fine particles, this gives a good thorough scrub rather than simply aggravating the skin. The particles, interestingly enough are made from corn on the cob meal. I would not have guessed this from looking at the liquid but I like the fact that natural ingredients are used. The product also contains mallow, ivy and cucumber. These help to sooth and cool the skin whilst the buffing is taking place. The soothing ingredients take any redness out of skin and I can get out of the shower glowing and polished rather than red and itchy! Your face is really delicate do there is no need to put it under too much stress. I love how sensitive this product is but how it also deep cleans.

This product is aimed at anyone who suffers from excess oil production.

      *using the product*

I love the relieving ingredients that this product contains and my skin feels so soft after using it and ready to be moisturised. The ingredients contained within the exfoliator greatly prepare my face for moisturiser or fake tan lotion.

This is designed for the face however I often suffer from a rash at the top of my arms and get a number of small spots here. I apply the exfoliator here and spend quite a lot of time massaging it in. This really helps the skin and circulation here and has had a very positive impact on the condition of my skin.

The product is easy to use, simply mix with a little warm water and apply on to wet skin but avoid the delicate eye area. I like to spend a bit of time rubbing it in, especially around problem areas such as my nose and forehead. It really helps get the dirt and dead skin away that cause black heads.

I do not use this product every day as I find that prolonged usage dries my skin out. Using the product a couple of times a week makes it last longer and keeps my skin looking healthy.
