I was lucky to spend time in a spa using Dermalogica products a few months ago. I spent a while in the relaxation room having a dabble with all the samples before being whisked off to enjoy a half hour long facial using this fantastic range of products. I was in my own seventh heaven that day!
try before you buy
Move forward to the present day and I have a massive pile of Dermalogica samples to work my way though with plenty of duplicates to try a few times whilst I work out what is for me in this range.
I love face masks
There. I've said it. I am often found on an evening relaxing with a face mask on. I just love them! So the skin hydrating masque rose to the top of my pile (obviously) and I applied it in the bath.
I used the mask after a thorough cleanse and light exfoliation, as advised on the back of the pack. The mask was a clear thick gel and easy to spread on my face.
I immediately noticed a stinging sensation which subsided slightly but was not entirely comfortable. The mask was supposed to be worn for 15 to 20 minutes but I ended up taking it off after ten minutes as I was worried it was not doing my skin any good.
The Dermalogica website advertises this face mask at £33 for a 75ml tube.
I have decided this mask from Dermalogica is not for me. It is not gentle enough and I prefer a soothing mask to a stinging one. Having said that I had no long lasting adverse effects so perhaps I was just being a bit of a wimp but in my defence I was only following instructions!

Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5) nourishes and replenishes skin and helps promote cell regeneration
I love this Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Mask 75ml. Instead of wearing moisturiser every day I apply this only ONCE a week instead of a normal moisturiser which I used to apply every day it restores my moisture and totally gets rid of any dry patches on my skin.
This product contains Calming botanical extracts of Bitter Orange, Hops, Cucumber and Arnica reduce inflammation, while antioxidant Vitamins A, C and E and Pro-Vitamin B5 help replenish the skin.
This product is defiantly great for people who suffer in the winter with their skin as it's a very fast reacting formula which means as soon as you get dry skin you can repair it in less then a few seconds with this amazing product.
Most products I find seem to make my eye area sting as the eye area is the most delicatest area on the skin but this product doesn't make it sting, its great foe sensitive skin probably because it fragrance free.
A bottle has lasted me around 3months, because you only need to apply a small amount and it spreads across your face. Think of all the money I've saved!
Where to buy it?
I purchased mine at my local gym as they have a spa there, I recommend you search the internet or visit any spas around your area as one of them are bound to have it.
I paid £24 so it works out I paid about £8 a month to make my skin look perfect and no longer dry!
