E45 products are manufactured by Crookes Healthcare and have a great reputation for providing a range of skincare products for sensitive and dry skin. Its emollient formulation is absorbed by skin leaving it soft, comfortable and relieved.

My kid often suffers from dry skin during winters and applying E45 cream regularly has helped him get relieved from dry skin. When my son suffered from eczema last winter applying e45 gave him temporary relief from itching but did not cure it completely. Though the product recommends it for eczema it did not work for my son. My family uses this cream to keep our skin soft and moisturised.

The cream is soft and white in colour. Though the product claims it is non-greasy I find it bit greasy. It is perfume free and dermatologically tested. When applied the cream gets absorbed in the skin leaving the skin soft. It takes sometime for the cream to get absorbed and we will have to wait to put the clothes on which can be irritating when we are in a hurry.

E45 cream has been clinically proven to treat and soothe dry, itching, flaking, chapped, rough and calloused skin, sunburn and detergent hands. The cream is recommended for more serious dry skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, ichthyosis, and certain dry cases of psoriasis.

This preparation contains light liquid paraffin, white soft paraffin and anhydrous lanolin (a waxy substance obtained from the wool of sheep and sometimes called wool fat). It works by providing a layer of oil on the surface of the skin to prevent water evaporating from the skin surface.

This cream should not be used if you are allergic to one or any of its ingredients.
